Firstly I want to thank Michelle Beesley for gifting me this copy of Destination Romance.
My view on what this book is about....
This is about a collection of short stories, from a few authors, in another words, an anthology. Each author had to include the travel booking place - J'Adore, in Heart Springs, Australia and then weave their story around that. As the book title suggests, it is a book full of romance and trips going to different places.
I'm pulling one story out that resonated with me

[Disclaimer - I am a contributor and the editor of this book]

It's hard to "review" a book you've worked on so closely without coming across as biased. Be that as it may, I am proud of the vision behind this book, as well as the way it has come together. It is not easy linking ten stories with one common place, but linked they are, and the anthology works so beautifully as a whole. Each of the ten stories links to J'Adore Travel Agency, whisking characters into the vintage-styled shop and off ont

These magical moments happen in the town itself, coastal Western Australia, and then takes the reader globe-trotting to magnificent locations. Travel to France, London, the Greek Islands, and exotic Thailand without ever leaving the comforts of home. In fact, grab another cup / glass of you ...more

It's exciting to review a book in which you are a contributor , but it is even more exciting to read romance and travel stories from nine other Australian Romance authors and see how they are all linked together. Ten travellers visit J'Adore Travel Boutique and set off on adventures to exotic destinations not knowing their journey will end in romance.
There is something for everyone, with mature aged travellers rekindling their romance after an emergency stop in WA or the story of the girl and b

Destination Romance is a collection of ten short romance stories, each written by a different Australian author and linked by the same fictional travel agency. I was one of the contributing authors and my story, Heart Swings, was inspired by my own destination wedding in Thailand. I was fascinated to see how each author put their own spin on the destination romance theme and how all the stories fitted together. Destination Romance is a fabulous blend of small town and international travel with l ...more

This anthology, published by Serenity Press, weaves together romantic stories from 10 authors linked by the fictional J'Adore Travel Boutique in Heart Springs. What happens when you pack your bags and leave home behind? You find surprises, adventure, and sometimes love. Old and young, homebodies and adventurers, this is a satisfying collection of going in search of what the heart needs.

Born in Sydney and now living in Perth, Monique Mulligan has loved words from the moment she could use them. She's told she used her words a lot as a child, earning the title of family chatterbox (and arguably still holding that crown). Once she could read, she devoured books with gusto - today, that enthusiasm is mirrored in her love of good food.
