It’s the Sheffield University Graduate job fair! It’s definitely fun and not a terrifying reminder of Daisy, Susan and Esther’s encroaching future as Real Adults.

Happy Sunday!
Recently, I have read a bunch of graphic novels (I read the last volume of Saga that is currently available and started some new series I have always been interested in). I am currently working on writing up the reviews for all the different graphic novels I read recently but for now, I am going to focus this review on Giant Days issue number 39 (which I can not even believe I am that far into this amazing series).

"So tell me about yourself."
"That's a very broad question. What sort of things about me would be useful for you to know?"

It was nice to see Ed and his family's castle.

This issue was too relatable. Daisy and Esther head to the job fair, where Daisy succeeds exponentially, and Esther bemoans the futility of capitalism and the meaninglessness of the 9-5 work force. Susan convinces McGraw to go to the fair for his own good, a moment that I deeply appreciated because it really shows how far their relationship has come. The last page or so is an update on Ed living with his parents.

Job fair horror! It's odd to be wanted, but wonder at the same time, could I really do this. Once again shows how real this comic can be. Though what's with the two weird lines on some character's noses?

Daisy is CRAZY not to take the drone job. 40,000 starting, two rides on a jet a month to anywhere... Benefits! As someone who is struggling to pay for health insurance because my boyfriend makes too much money but I have cancer so I have to see a dr... I'd KILL to get this kind of job.

Wish I were as successful and as smooth at interviewing as Daisy!
It’s been intriguing to see how our cast has changed and their personalities developed, especially when facing impending adulthood. But I really can’t stand that new mustache...

Perfect as usual. I enjoyed the hijinks of the job fair and Daisy and Esther's antics. AND YAY McGraw! Grad school and staying near Susan. Loved it!

The problem with living in the moment is that there's so little time to think about what you're going to do tomorrow.

This issue was super fun. Daisy getting all the job offers. Esther being overdramatic about her job prospects. And Ed Gemmel is coming back, yay!
