Yet another fabulous legal suspense novel from Rachel Dylan!
Both Mia Shaw and Noah Ramirez were very interesting and compelling characters. While I didn't connect with them quite as much as I did with previous characters in the Atlanta Justice series, I still really enjoyed their story.
The opening scene immediately grabs you and doesn't let go until the end. Filled with tension and action, the suspense doesn't let up - even when you think the story is over. I greatly enjoy all the legal details Dylan includes in this series. Honestly, I've learned more about the justice system from this series than I ever did in high school. Dylan explains how the system works in a way laymen can understand, but without seeming to talk down to her readers. I also enjoyed the romance in Breach of Trust. It plays a very back-seat role in comparison to the rest of the storyline, which I appreciate.
Overall, Breach of Trust was a great end to the Atlanta Justice series, and I greatly enjoyed it! Recommended for lovers of good legal romantic suspense!
Recommended for ages 16+ due to violence and action.
FTC disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not required to write a positive review. These are my honest thoughts and opinions.
Breach of Trust is another wonderful legal suspense novel by Rachel Dylan. While this book is the third in the Atlanta Justice series, it can easily be read as a stand alone novel.
I enjoyed this peek into the world of corporate law and found myself trying to guess who was behind all of the trouble and mayhem that was occurring. The main characters, Noah and Mia, were very likable, even when they were on opposite sides of a murder case. I enjoyed their relationship’s natural development during the story.
I always feel like I am getting a glimpse into the real workings of the legal system when I read a book by this author. This was definitely true with Breach of Trust and made for a very interesting story.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
An intriguing book with multiple POV characters. The heroine is desperate to learn the truth about the murder of her colleague and friend. When she takes over his case, she expects it to be an opportunity to to honor his memory. Instead, she finds herself pulled into a quagmire of questions and challenges. The final twist kept me guessing! An enjoyable read.
This was a nice conclusion to the series. I enjoyed that Mia was a baby Christian and trying to trust--and really appreciate that it was clear that she was a new Christian, not shady where she stood.
There was a sweet and steady romance. Nothing too deep or on the line, which I also appreciate.
The mystery was great. Though, because I've read a few of Rachel's books, I suspected the bad guy from close to the beginning, because she's shocked me a few times, but I've kind of figured out how to figure her story out. ;)
I really liked all of the POVs in this book. It gave a nice, full picture to the story.
As with the previous books in this series, this was a mixed read for me. On the one hand I love legal suspense, and it’s obvious this author is completely at home in the genre. There’s also no denying she knows how to get a story off to a cracker of a start. Nothing quite like finding one of your closest friends murdered in their own home!
On the other hand, telling rather than showing was the predominant writing style, sometimes to the point of redundancy, and for me, the characters never quite came to life. Too, I’m still not sold on the extra point-of-view characters beyond the hero and heroine. There weren’t as many in this book as in the previous one, but we still get Tyler Spencer, the defense attorney who agrees to defend Noah’s former ATF partner, and Owen Manley, the chief lawyer for the company Mia’s friend was representing before he was murdered. Owen’s point of view perhaps added a little to the tension in the story, but the scenes from Ty’s point of view often felt like they were padded out with unnecessary narrative, and they didn’t add anything essential to the story that couldn’t have been worked in through either Noah’s or Mia’s point of view.
As for the suspense plot, it maintained my interest and even provided a few surprises along the way. There’s something about the challenge of clearing an innocent person when the evidence is against them that fires me up! The romance I found less engaging, partly due to the aforementioned ‘telling’ style of writing, which meant that observations from other characters along the lines of “The tension between you and Mia was filling the air” were the only indications of said tension.
On the whole, I think I’m likely to pass on this author in the future, however readers who don’t mind the aspects of this author’s writing style that I’ve mentioned above will find this a solid romantic suspense read.
I received a copy of this novel from the publisher. This has not influenced the content of my review, which is my honest and unbiased opinion.
Breach of Trust was a great conclusion to the Atlanta Justice trilogy! Legal thrillers have never been a favorite genre of mine, but Rachel Dylan knows how to write them in a way that I love. This book grabbed my attention right away -- it opened in such an intense way!
I liked the characters and how their relationship developed throughout the story. The mystery of who the "bad guy" was had so many layers and I never knew when the next twist was going to come. It was so good!
All in all, Breach of Trust was a very good read and if you enjoy suspense, especially legal thrillers, I recommend it!

One of my favorite legal suspense authors is Rachel Dylan. Her writing style is genuine and unique and her characters always come to life for me as I read her books. I had the pleasure of reading books 1 and 2 in this amazing series, and now, I've had the delight to read book 3. It was so refreshing going back to Atlanta and feeling like the story was written just for me.
I loved getting to see Mia and Noah's story unfold. Their pain, their struggles, the twists and turns of the plot, all jumped off the pages and captured me completely. Noah's character was absolutely my favorite, and I fell in love with him so hard in this story! Mia's character was incredibly luck to have him protecting her!
Ms. Dylan's talent for intricately weaving a legal thriller into an unforgettable read is amazing. She does a fantabulous job at research, and blending it with her awesome messages of hope, love, forgiveness and mercy.
This is the third book in her ATLANTA JUSTICE series. I highly recommend it be read in the series, and not as a stand alone. The full effect of this author's talent and her amazing characters that become family is best felt reading the books in the entire series. Ms. Dylan has once again created a phenomenally amazing, heart-pounding story of edge-of-your-seat suspense. Definitely giving this one a high 4 star rating and two thumbs up.

Breach of Trust ( Atlanta Justice #3 ) By: Rachel Dylan Breach of Trust is book three in Atlanta Justice Series. Wow, what a story. I would have to say that Breach of Trust is my favorite. I did not want to put it down. I was not disappointed. Dylan weaves a story with action, suspense , mystery, intrigue, and romance. Mia is a corporate lawyer and finds her best friend and co worker dead. She is determined to find out who did this to her friend. There is action from start to finish and the author will keep you turning those pages and guessing till the end. Is Mia safe? Things are not what they appear to be. Will Justice be done and the killer found before it is to late? I was given a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher, but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
Rachel Dylan ends her wonderful Atlanta Justice series with Mia's story. Mia discovers the body of a good friend who has been murdered, a friend who is also a fellow lawyer and coworker at the same firm. When Mia is asked to take on his current case, she jumps at the chance to help him out. She soon discovers that things are not always what they seem.
If you enjoy a legal thriller that is inspirational, then don't hesitate to purchase this book. Dylan brings it and keeps it interesting, with enough twists to keep you guessing till the very end. Recommended.
*My thanks to the publisher for a preview copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
"Faith isn't a magic pill. It's important to understand that. Not to expect the pain to just stop because you've let God into your life. But it does allow you to cope with the pain in a different way."
This is actually the first book I have read from Rachel Dylan and I am totally hooked. Breach of Trust is book 3 in the Atlanta Justice series but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. Now that I've finished the book, I need to go back and read books 1 and 2!! The author creates a fast-moving legal thriller full of action, suspense, and surprises in the plot that will keep you guessing who the real villain is. The writing is easy to follow, the characters are real and lovable, and the faith component of the story tangible and affirmative. If you enjoy a well-written romantic suspense/legal thriller, you will absolutely love this book.
Our heroine, Mia, is a brilliant corporate defense lawyer who has a broken past but a new life in her faith. She ends up taking a case after the death of her friend and colleague that leads her down a twisted and tangled web of corporate schemes. Noah, our hero, is a private investigator specializing in technology and gets involved in Mia's case when his ex-ATF buddy gets accused of murder. Noah is the steady, dependable, faithful sort who becomes Mia's rock as the case and her life unravel quickly. It's also interesting to see two other perspectives in the plot - one from Owen, the general council of the corporation that Mia is defending, and the other from Ty, the criminal defense lawyer who takes Noah's friend's case pro bono. Will there be future books about Owen and/or Ty?!?! We can only hope....
I received a copy of the book from Bethany House Publishers and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.
The conclusion of the Atlanta Justice series is a complex thrill ride and beautiful faith-based romance. There's nothing I love more as a reader than a happily ever after and Rachel Dylan delivers! I highly recommend this book and series.
This was the third and final installment in the Atlanta Justice Series by Rachel Dylan. I loved it. What a great way to wrap it all. I love trying to guess the bad guy and boy was it hard. Lots of action and suspense with a sweet romance too. I highly recommend to any lovers of legal thrillers. This author did a great job. *I was given a copy of this book by the publisher and I was under no obligation to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.
"God has an interesting way of tugging at our hearts and opening up our minds. Using the dark and painful challenges of life to speak into our hearts." (p 168)
Enthralling doesn't begin to describe all that is good about Breach of Trust. I know very little about the law but Rachel Dylan manages to write the legalize in a way that I can understand. And the combination of legal drama and intriguing suspense is such a powerful lure.
This is the kind of read where the suspense slowly builds and unexpected danger snatches the breath right out of an unsuspecting reader. Over and over again. You're like -- wait...what just happened...did that...did he...did she...aaagggh! Talk about keeping a reader on the edge of her seat! And by the halfway point I was about jumping out of my skin in anxious anticipation of what was to come.
And my emotions were all over the place. I got so seething mad at injustice -- whether it was a corporate bigwig or a nasty coworker....gah --- I was right there ready to pull some punches on Mia's behalf! Not to mention the subtle undercurrents of romance that can't possibly come to anything -- not with Noah and Mia so solidly on opposite sides of a murder investigation. He's passionately positive that his friend is not a killer while she's just as passionate about seeing the man prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law -- which might mean the death penalty! Angst anyone?
Breach of Trust is the third installment in the Atlanta Justice series by Rachel Dylan. This series is about three female attorney friends from law school who remain very close. It is also about each one’s faith journey. In this book we learn about Mia Shaw, a shocking discovery and the consequences that could prove dangerous. Ms Dylan adeptly brings us into the world of corporate law. I learned so much from this book. The lawyer-speak was not over my head but it educated me to a side of the law I was not familiar with. It wasn’t just a lesson in procedure but an excellent who-done-it! It kept me guessing until the end. This book can be read as a stand alone but you would benefit by reading all three in the series. The relationships between the characters were natural and we were kept up to date on Mia’s two friends as well as introduced to a few new characters. I am hoping some of them show up in a future novel.
This was a very enjoyable foray into Atlanta and its justice system.
* I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher on behalf of the author. I was not required to give a favorable review. All opinions are my own. *
Author Rachel Dylan wraps up her Atlanta Justice series with the third and final book, Breach of Trust. Right away, the reader is drawn into this legal thriller with the scene of a brutal murder. Who killed the young lawyer named Chase? Why was he killed? Is Chase’s friend and coworker, Mia, also in danger? Does the evidence point to an innocent man? Why would God allow these things to happen? These are just a few of the questions that must be answered, and private investigator, Noah, is the right person to help find the truth.
Join Mia as she must search for the truth while at the same time, she must keep her head on straight enough to represent a large company in a breach of trust lawsuit. Danger lurks around every corner, threatening her, both physically and spiritually. Can Noah help her find the truth and keep her safe before it’s too late? And finally, is there a romance in the making?
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have. The answers to these questions and more are found within its pages. Once again, Rachel Dylan delivers.
**I did receive this book free of charge in exchange for my honest review of the novel.
A great ending to a terrific suspense trilogy! I really enjoyed this read. Lawyers may be nice, but they can’t always play nice. Mia learns that through the situations that occur in court. Outside of court, her faith is being tested in so many ways...just like in anyone’s life. I really enjoyed the suspense in this read. The author did an awesome job of slight hints of things along the way without giving away who all was involved or exactly the end game.
It’s a terrific legal thriller with a page turner plot and very relateable characters. Some faith questions that are common in this wicked world...and characters from the previous books. All of this comes together for a tremendous legal thriller that I highly recommend. I will admit that it took me a bit to get into the read , but that was probably more my mood than the writing.
I really highly recommend this read, and this entire series.
I received this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
The final book in Rachel Dylan’s Atlanta Justice series starts with a murder and proceeds full speed ahead from there.
Amid grieving the loss of her good friend, Mia Shaw is given the lead on a case that is shrouded in danger and secrets. She turns to Noah Ramirez for his help in finding answers to her questions even though the two of them stand on opposite sides of the man accused of the murder of Mia’s friend.
Dylan’s courtroom and lawyer/client situations are spot on, the action is vivid and intense, and the romance develops naturally all while Mia’s new faith is tested. The author handles each situation and answer with authenticity and grace.
Readers of the first two books will also enjoy cameos by Kate, Sophie, and their guys. If you’re looking for a legal suspense read that leans more toward the cases and will keep you guessing, you can’t go wrong with Breach of Trust.
Disclosure statement: I receive complimentary books from publishers, publicists, and/or authors, including NetGalley. I am not required to write positive reviews. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
An enthralling legal thriller that will keep you turning the pages. The characters were interesting. The growing romance between Mia and Noah was a slow process as they got to know and trust one another while investigating her friends murder. The legal case Mia is assigned to that was her deceased friends case is not what she expected and everyone involved is not as they seem. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
I enjoy legal thrillers, and there haven't been many authors on the Christian market who write them. The few who have done so have been men......which is fine, as there are not enough "guy books" on the Christian fiction market.
Rachel Dylan is one of two female authors who have started writing legal thrillers in the last few years, and she does a great job of it. Legal thrillers can be tricky things. If the legal talk and work is too complicated, readers like me who aren't very well versed in legal "stuff" will lose interest and be lost.
This third and final book in the suspenseful Atlanta Justice Series revolves around corporate espionage, which doesn't sound too interesting to be honest. However, Dylan makes it interesting. I was fascinated by how and why some things happened in the book.
These three books center on six people: three female friends who are all lawyers, and three guys who are all members of a security company. (Spoiler: the three guys get the girls). :) The male in this story is Noah, the tech expert of the company. The author used him to help work on the espionage case with his computer expertise, which also was interesting.
Not only is the legal and courtroom parts of the book done well, but so is the suspense. Maybe I am wrong, but it seemed the suspense was ratcheted up even more in the third book than the other two...regardless, this suspense junkie loved those parts of the book and kept me turning the pages as fast as I could.
I mentioned the guy getting the girl....so romance also plays a big part in the story, and it also was well done and not cheesy or gag inducing. (Hey, I am a bachelor!)
And last, but not least, the Christian element. Mia is a fledgling Christian, and there were some interesting and thought provoking things that came up in discussions between her and Noah, a preacher's son who had not always lived his faith.
This was a great conclusion to a very good series.
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Mia had a touch life growing up. Raised by a single mom who was also a drug addict didn't give her a lot of chances to make something of herself. But she fought hard, went to law school and now works for a large law firm and is "living the dream." Or is she? Trying to pay off her school loans she actually is at a large firm that pays well, but doesn't necessarily mean that she is doing what she wants.
Then the unthinkable happens. Her good friend and associate, Chase, is brutally murdered. Mia finds his body and the intrigue starts. She is determined to see the man who killed Chase put on trial and convicted. But at the same time the law firm gives her control of the Corporate Case that Chase was working on. It is a Breach of Contract. But as she digs into the case she finds that there are some major problems of corporate espionage.
The storyline will deal with issues of Trust, Forgiveness, Deceit, Truth and Honesty as well as Integrity. The author weaves a wonderful story but also deals with issues that each of us face in real life, just maybe not to this depth. At the same time Mia is struggling with her new faith, one that leaves her questioning the goodness of God.
There are so many dialogue lines and issues that will keep you and your book club talking about this wonderful novel for weeks. I couldn't put it down and can't wait to talk to others about some of the issues that are addressed.
Oh, and just when you think you know "Who did it," you realize that you were completely wrong. So, don't make assumptions until you completely finish the story.
NO ONE writes legal drama like Dylan does! Breach of Trust is the third book in this series (but can be considered a stand alone) and DOES NOT disappoint!
Loved Mia from the start; she has just become a Christian a few months ago, she is a bright lawyer and a loyal friend. She has a tremendous heart but doesn't let that get in the way of her logical mind and legal abilities. I was proud of her throughout the book.
I had no opinion of Noah in this series but he steps up in this one and is a loyal friend and wonderful protector for Mia as she gets attacked in various surprising ways. This girl has nine lives for sure!
I had no idea who the bad guy was and really got to like the minor characters in this one (Noah's friend and the Owen lawyer and even Ty). Mia's friends Kate and Sophie are in this one also but it's mostly the other lawyers. I even choked up a little at the end for McDonald.
I truly LOVED every court scene and lawyer meetings, the lingo and procedures felt so authentic and spot on! I didn't consider this to be a page turner, but I definitely wanted to see what happened next and nothing was predictable. There is plenty of betrayal and as the title says, a definite breach of trust, but no one is as they seem to be and it's such a great read. Highly recommend for new and seasoned readers, such a great series!
I was given a copy from the publisher via NetGalley. I was not required to write a positive review. The comments and opinions are my own.
Oh my gosh Rachel does a great job. This is the third book in the Atlanta justice series. Thrills galore. Suspenseful set up. Her characters come to life and reel you in. I didn’t want to put the book down till I was on the last page. Definitely a good book !!!
Faith isn't a magic pill. It's important to understand that. Not to expect the pain to just stop because you've let God into your life. ~Sophie, Breech of Trust
Mia Shaw arrived at the door of her friend Chase Jackson's apartment with celebratory balloons in her hands. She knocked and yelled that she was there to take him out to dinner as planned. There was no way she would let his one year anniversary as a successful partner at the law firm they both work at, with out celebrating. When he did not answer the door she decided to try opening it even though she knew it would be locked so when it opened, she was very surprised & called out to Chase as she walked in. No answer. Then when she checked his bedroom... Noah Ramirez could not believe that his friend has been arrested for murder. He knows the man that David is and knows he would never commit murder but the evidence points at him & only him. With the death of Chase, Mia was asked to take over the LCI case, Lee Corporation International. It was a high profile case that was Chase's top priority, in preparing for the court case she begins to find and experience things that have her wondering if perhaps his death was tied to the case. Noah really wants to prove David's innocence and when Mia asks him to consult on the computer information he accepts and together they work to find the truth and in the process find each other. Mia and Noah believe that the Lord will be with them and guide them through this trial and answer their prayers to have a life in Him, together.
This was the final book in the Atlanta Justice Series. Ms. Dylan never disappoints with exciting plots that grab you from the very beginning and characters you never want to say good bye to. She also weaves into the story that God always takes care of his children no matter how long or strong ones faith is.
I am honored to have been blessed with an advance reader copy and thank Rachel Dylan for allowing me to participate. MLM
I have been waiting to read Mia's stories since I read book one in this series. I knew there was a back story to her, more than she's let on in the past, and I was excited to find out what it was. Also, this is the one character that really didn't have faith, and I was anxious to see how Dylan would incorporate that into the story. While I don't want to give away details - Dylan did a wonderful job of showing her growth, but also remaining honest unlike most new Christians. I found this to be so refreshing and probably the best part of the story. Okay, there were lots of good parts, but those really stuck out to me.
Dylan continues to amaze me with her ability to keep the suspense going, and make me interested in courtroom activities. Like I think I want to go sign up to be a juror, even though that's not something you can do around here. She just makes it so intriguing, and you feel like you are in the courtroom with the characters. With romance and action in the mix, it's near impossible to put the book down.
I have to admit, I wasn't really sure how this book was going to end up. I was pretty sure I had it all figured out, but Dylan added some nice twists that left me breathless. Even though Noah is probably my least favorite of the three guys (I mean they are all my favorites lol), I still enjoyed learning more about him. He and Mia both had issues to work through, which I think made them stronger as a couple. I actually like that they had differing views for different things during the story. It made their relationship more interesting, and the pull between them that much stronger.
Once again Dylan delivers a riveting page turner. I have loved getting to know these characters and reading this series. I can't wait to see what's next! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the third installment in the Atlanta Justice series and I think this is my favorite book in the series. Even though this book is part of a series I feel it is definitely a stand alone. Packed full of edge of your seat suspense and a mystery with twists and turns that keeps you guessing until the end. I loved these complex characters. Mia is strong and well developed character. She works for a big law firm, but readily admits that it's not her ideal job. Yet, she still gives 100% to every case she's given. When she finds her friend brutally murdered she show real and raw emotions, but instead of revenge she seeks justice. Noah, former ATF agent, runs a private security firm with two close friends. Noah receives a phone call from a former agent who happened to save his life and asks for help. Noah and Mia are on a collision course, but for different reasons. Mia has accused/believes David McDonald killed her friend, but Noah is convinced he's innocent. I like that Noah is upfront with Mia about the fact he's looking for answers to prove David's innocence and will leave no stone uncovered. When Mia starts asking questions the case heats up and suddenly she and Noah find things much more complicated that they ever imagined. This book has elements of mystery, suspense, romantic tension, faith, and love. This is a great book and I would recommend to anyone who loves a suspense or mystery. **I received this book from the author via the publisher. I was not required to write a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I think Breach Of Trust is the book I've most looked forward to in this series. Mia and Noah have both intrigued me ever since they were introduced in the first Atlanta Justice book. And I was not disappointed, not by the characters and their chemistry, nor by the threads of mystery, or by the tense elements of legal suspense.
Once again, Rachel Dylan's personal knowledge of the ins and outs of the American legal system shown through in her stellar ability to paint a courtroom drama that keeps readers on the edge of their seats and glued to the page.
I do have to admit that I did guess the basics of the ultimate who and why of the mystery but Rachel Dylan also threw in some real curveballs that kept me, and her characters, hopping.
The romance was excellent and the suspense was taut, which, in my book, makes a truly enjoyable read. Whether you are a fan of the author or new to her books Breach Of Trust, and the previous books in the Atlanta Justice series, are well worth the time spent reading and I would recommend them.
(I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)
This book three in the Atlanta Justice Series was full of twists and turns. Two incidents that seem totally unrelated, or are they, bring lawyer Mia Shaw into grief, then anger and a case her firm gives her that puts her life in danger. This can be read as a stand-alone but I highly recommend the first two also. Author and lawyer, Rachel Dylan, brings so much “to the table” with her expertise. There is lots of nail biting, heart thumping action to get the avid reader staying up late at night turning pages. And the best part is the surprise ending which I loved in the fact that I had the wrong culprit in mind, another plus for the author’s writing. Mia literally finds her close friend and colleague has been brutally murdered when she goes to his apartment. Noah is sure his friend and buddy whose being accused of the murder has been framed. They “lock horns” right at the start but the search for truth finds them both working together to unravel all the threads that have been so tangled together. But will they learn the truth before one or both of them have been killed? Tune in for the rest of the story! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher but was not required to write a review positive or otherwise.
Excellent book. The last book in the series. Mia will stop at nothing to get justice for her friend. Now her boss hands over a case he was handling. She has to prove to them she’s up to the task. She may be upset about her colleague but is ready to handle whatever is given to her. When things seem like an open and shut case one man might prove her wrong. As she digs to finds answers things get dangerous. It seems that her friends murder is connected to the case he was working on. She turns to Noah for help knowing full well that’s defneding his friend who she holds responsible for what happened to hers. Can they work together?
Noah knows Mia is distraught over her friend, but also knows his friend could never do what he’s being accused of. She wants his help. They both want answers. Maybe he can show her that her friend is innocent.
This is book is full of suspense and so much more.
Mia is just starting to learn about her new faith when she experiences one of the worst moments in her life. She had only become a Christian a few months before, and is still questioning at times, when she finds her friend from work brutally murdered. Certain it's an open and shut case, she does whatever she can to help the prosecutor prove that David McDonald is guilty of the crime. Noah isn't so sure though. David is his friend, and one who saved his life once before. He vows to do what he can to prove David's innocence, even though it puts him against Mia, the best friend of his best friend's wife. When the two of them work together to prove each other wrong, they soon discover that Chase's last case may have had more dark sides to it then it seems. As the final book in the series, it helped give each of the characters a happy ending. It once again had a bit of deja vu, but overall the series is worth reading
Such a great book! As you can see I stayed up way to late because I had to find out what happened . Rachel Dylan did an awesome job in creating a story so compelling! I highly recommend Breach of Trust.
Mia Shaw has just found her friend murdered in his own apartment and she is positive that she knows who did it. Now she has been appointed to be in charge of her colleagues case and she starts unearthing all sorts of problems.
Noah Ramirez a security tech specialist is contacted by his accused friend from prison for help and Noah willingly takes on his friends plight but immediately butts heads with Mia Shaw who’s on the opposite side. As Mia struggles with the death of her friend and her life is put in danger several times; to her surprise Noah is right there. Can they survive to have a future together and save his friend?
