Dragon shifter, Emilia, has slept for hundreds of years on a bed of dragon treasure. Now she’s awake and is about to learn that the most valuable treasure is not gold or gems, but her true mate.
Betrayed by a man who claimed to love her but who was not her true mate, Emilia has slept while the centuries slipped away. The world changed but she stayed the same, until the presence of her mate, Thorn, pulled her from her ancient slumber. With Thorn’s help, she hopes to embrace her new life.
But will she ever be free when so many questions about her past remain unanswered?
Thorn Manning knows dragon shifters are real. What he doesn’t expect, is for a dragon shifter to be his mate. What’s more, a dragon shifter who is from the old world.
History is Thorn’s life. Whether reading ancient journals or finding forgotten relics, he loves bringing the past into the present for the world to enjoy. But Emilia is not something he plans to share. Ever.
She is his and he will protect her from the past, present or future.
Together Emilia and Thorn must unravel the secrets of what really happened centuries ago, so they can create a safe future for all dragon shifters.
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
Emilia lies on her dragon treasure in a centuries long sleep maintained by a potion, a spell and a magical barrier that no one can release her from. Her brother, Magnus, who had stayed with her at her side through the long sleep has awakened but neither he nor his mate nor their vast number of family and friends can release that barrier. All they can do now is keep searching for the answer… when, in fact, the answer lived among them and his curiosity will end up being the answer to one puzzle and the beginning of even more questions to find answers for.
Treasure Bear is fast paced, full of action and answers. Yet is also brings about even more questions… and characters to wonder about as well. Thorn and Emilia’s romance is a combination of lighthearted joy and lingering doubts. This modern day Indiana Jones must find the solution to his mate’s past for she is not fully out of danger, and awakening may have just put her in more jeopardy. I loved seeing George’s character play a larger part in this story and so excited that he gets his own tale told up next. We’ll bring along several of our old friends on this journey, and my own curiosity is now on high alert as well. We’ve had mention of the large cats and the wolves around the Bear Creek, Bear Bluff general area. I’m really hoping that those stories get told at some point for the glimpses I’ve gotten fascinate me with the possibilities. In all, once again I was captured by the residents of Bear Creek and I would definitely recommend Treasure Bear along with the entire series and connected series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who loves a good shifter story, puzzles to unravel and a love worth waiting for.

You have Thorn who is a bear shifter he wants to know how Magnus who was an artist 400 years ago is alive now, he follows him & his mate Ruby they both are dragons he has the journal of his ancestor who had put a spell on Magnus When he thinks the coast is clear he goes in to find his mate Emilia Magnus's sister but she is trapped behind an invisible barrier Magnus don't trust Thorn but as he is his sister's mate & he wants her out as much as he does which they do Then they embark on trying to find out how the spell could have been done Thorn's history teacher helps & he is the focus of the next book
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I thought Emilia and Thorn were perfect together. I liked that Fate finally put things right when matching them together considering Thorn’s distant relative Perry put both Emilia and her brother Magnus under a sleeping spell as he supposedly loved Emilia, even after Emilia did the honourable thing and told him that he isn’t the man for her as he’s not her mate since she’s a shifter and even showed him her dragon as she trusted him. Perry decided that if he couldn’t have her then no one could. After putting both her and Magnus to sleep on their treasure he added an extra barrier around Emilia for her protection. I also liked that Perry’s son Harry met his true mate and every Manning descendant after him met their mates and are Bear shifters so all the family had real true love unlike Perry. I liked how Thorn with the help of George a volunteer at the museum where Thorn works to find out more about the amulet that helped trapped Emilia as the more information they have the less chance it can happen again. Chin Shan from the Stone Claw Clan helped cast the spell and with the payment he received from Perry he helped get the rest of his Clan members back home to China and took a memory loss spell and settled in Bear Creek. I loved that George was offered some of her treasure by Emilia for his help but he didn’t want anything and that the only treasure he would like would be the history inside of her since he’s a retired history teacher. I’m really looking forward to reading George’s story next as he’s deserves his happily ever after as he’s waited so long. I’d recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
This is a wonderful, entertaining book and I really enjoyed reading it. This book is about: a female dragon shifter (Emilia) who wakes up to find her mate (Thorn, a bear shifter) trying to free her. Thorn is surprised by Emilia’s brother (Magnus) and his mate (Ruby), after some accusations and disagreements, they all stand together in order to help Amilia escape her strange prison. What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, some suspense, twists & turns, adventure, action, secrets, magical barrier, a amulet, memories, searching history, knowledge, attacks, trust, readjustment, redemption, mates, lust, passion, love and steamy scenes. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written, the pace is steady and not rushed. The characters have needs and desires according to their personality. I would recommend this book. “I received a complimentary copy, so I could give my honest opinion”
A Dragon asleep for centuries and the Bear who wakes her and mates her
Thorne is a bear shifter who is deeply interested in history. He has been watching locals who have been going up into the mountains. He doesn't k ow Magnus and Ruby are Dragon shifters. He finds a cave in the mountain and meets them. It is where Magnus awoke from an Ancient Sleep spell. A tunnel leads to another cave where Magnus's sister is. Amelia is not only awakening from the same spell, she is surrounded by a force field. Thorne helps get her free. She is his mate. Magnus and Ruby are mates. Everyone had thought Dragons were extinct. Their story is about how they were put to sleep, by whom, and why. As in every Harmony Raines book I have read, the characters are ones you would befriend, and the story grabs you on the first page and doesn't let go until the end, leaving.g you eager for the next book in the series or the first book in a new series.
I really enjoy the stories written by this author. The characters are strong, well crafted and likeable. Her writing is clear and the editing is excellent. I do not find myself correcting spelling and grammar. This is a joy. My problem is that the foul language used during intimate love scenes detracts from the story and from my enjoyment of the well described action. In my life and in my imagination intimacy is not deepened or made more exciting with curse words. To me, it is a little like the assault that I experience when gratuitous violence is used to titillate. I wish that the author would not insert "F---" words and "C---" words just to demonstrate that she is aware of some of the colloquialisms that are in use in the English language.
Although I enjoy the stories, I find myself skipping over the intimate scenes. I am not happy about this because the only alternative is to stop reading these books.
Thorne is perfect for Emilia. Marcus finally gets his sister back and her mate finds her and wakes her up. I loved how Thorne was so interested in history and takes everything about Emily so seriously. Watching them safe through the events of the past to figure out what happened was really cool.
This story has quite a bit of character development, with a fast pace, a magical tone, some action, vivid characters and some steamy scenes. Read Bear Creek first, then Bear Bluff, then Return to Bear Bluff, and then these 19 if you want to get the whole gamut of the story. Then there are the Silverback stories that for in here somewhere, too! If you haven't experienced Bear Creek and Bear Bluff and you like your shifter romances with some action, you are in for a treat! Enjoy! Now we are waiting for George's story. I can't wait!
Thorn knows that Magnus is a dragon. He has been following and spying on the dragon family since he met Magnus and Ruby. He followed them into the mountains. When they appeared to be finished and left the cave for the night, he went in. What he discovered was his mate. Emilia has been asleep and trapped in a protective bubble for four centuries. Now that Thorn entered the cave, she is awake. But there is a shield around her. Nothing can get in and she can't get out. The book involves discovering who was involved in the spells that put Magnus and Emilia into their "hibernation" sleep. This is a simple telling of the siblings lives past and present. There wasn't a whole lot of excitement in this story. The book was okay but felt slower paced than some of the others in this series. So if you want to read that type of story, this is for you.
This book was like an action movie, lots of intensity, on edge hoping nothing cruel happens as I force finish each page so I can turn the other to see what awaits. I was hoping Thorn wasn't Emilia's mate because I didn't trust him and believe he was crooked just like his ancestor before him. I'm glad he turned out to be because he was able to free Emilia. I still don't trust some of the characters that found out dragons are real. Ms Raines keeps delivers tremendous work.
I enjoy reading this series very much. This book had excitement, fun, mystery, adventure and romance. Who would have guessed that after centuries a defense would still exist and that it would be actually used. Funny how they thought they were being attacked even if the dragons were not aggressive towards them. I did think Emilia was a but forward considering the time she came from. I would have liked for her to be a bit more reserved with Thorn. That's my one critique for this book. Enjoy!
Thorn and Emilia's story...Can a bear shifter adventurer and a dragon shifter who has just been awakened after being asleep for four hundred years overcome their differences and build a life together? Can they solve the mystery that led to Magnus and Emilia's long sleep? Harmony Raines's "Return to Bear Creek" series continues to give us stories that warm the heart. I've read them all and continue to look forward to reading more about the shifters in that area. Grab a copy of "Treasure Bear" today. Happy reading!
Dragons! Trapped in a force field for centuries, Emilia awakens to discover her brother, his mate, and the bear shifter who is her mate trying to free her. Thorn is not only a bear shifter, but a history geek and a descendant of the misguided man responsible for the long sleep visited upon Emilia and her brother. And then the adventure begins! Don't miss meeting the bear shifter who is a modern day Indiana Jones!
Another fantastic read from Harmony Raines. Emilia is finally freed from her bubble by her mate, Thorn, and they go on the hunt to find out why and who besides Peter that was responsible. You'll meet the others in the family from the previous book. There are a couple of dicey places in the book, but was a great read.Emilia was confined for 4 hundred years, so she has a lot to learn about being a modern girl.
After been awakened by her fated mate, Emilia, a dragon shifter, has to puzzle the mystery of why her brother and her were put to sleep centuries ago. Thorn is a bear shifter and descendent of the man that betrayed Emilia. We are taken on a journey of discovery with this to likeable characters, and the awnser may be closer to home. Very entertaining read. Highly recommended
Pretty good continuation of the previous book "Awakened Dragon", this is the story of Emilia. Emilia, along with her brother, Magnus had been spelled to sleep by a man who had fallen in love with Emilia. When she didn't return his love, the man decided that if *he* couldn't have her, no one would. Of course, true love (aka fated mate) interferes.
This series is a little uneven. Some stories are rather superficial, some are more intense. This one has a little more meat than others in the series.
The Dumas siblings are back together after her bear shifter fated mate awakens her, but there are mysteries to be solved so that no one can put either of them , or someone else, under the Eternal Slumber curse.
The dragon families have added the Dumas siblings, and bear shifter Thorn Manning, a direct descendent of the man who paid to have her and her brother locked in sleep , a sleep that lasted four hundred years, but is now Emilia Dumas' fated mate.
So much turmoil and excitement! Emilia is still asleep, locked behind a magical barrier they have been unable to bring down. Unknown to the dragons, someone is spying on them as they fly to the cave...but what are they after? Great addition to this wonderful series...I am so glad it is ongoing!
I don't think I will ever get enough of this series. The characters the spinoff stories each one special. As the families grow I hope we get a few more cameos. Thorn was truly given a treasure with Emilia. Together they will make a future while sharing the past.
Awesome, this adventure takes you on the road to discover why and who put the dragon to sleep for centuries. Love these characters and their personalities. Harmony always has a great story and brings to life these characters in her stories. I love her books and her creativity......waiting for the next adveture.
This is excellent in every way imaginable. Excellently written, a story plot that is different, characters that are very memorable. I loved this, but then I love each story in this series. There are bears, dragons, leopards and even a butterfly. There is some sexual content.
Great book. Harmony can write. We are 19 books in and it keeps getting better. This book is a spin-off of the wounder full Bear Creek series. All I have to ask is, how can HR find anymore ways to bring our couples together? Well she does. Looking forward to reading George's book, another silver back book.
Thorn a bear shifter has awaken his sleeping dragon shifter mate, Emilia, who is asleep behind a magic barrier. Now the group wants to find out why brother and sister were put the sleep.
Join this group as they try to solve a mystery and go on an adventure.
I thought book 18 was the best in the series. Now, I think I may have a new favorite! Great rounding out of book 18 and lead-in for book 20! I love when peripheral characters I love get a turn at bat and they are just as interesting as the primary characters in previous stories. Well done!
The past and present coming together for two shifters. Finally waking up, Emilia is learning about what life is like just like her brother. Take this journey with her as she discovers what has happened after all this time
This was a wonderful shifter love story of bear meets Dragon and a mystery rolled into one. Our hero bear finds his mate locked in a cave having slept for hundreds of years but who did it and why? This was a very well written story with lots of drama and action.
Another great story in this wonderful series. If Harmony Raines is the author, you know you're in for a treat. You won't be disappointed. Always very well worth the read.
Love this series and cant wait to see what happens next i enjoyed the characters and the storyline so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone
It's amazing how all of these stories fit together.Whether it's book one or nineteen you are taken on an amazing journey through time to find love and lost treasure.Start with number one and enjoy the read.
This series was great when you get the others together it all runs smooth I'm now going to read the other box set that go with these I hope I wasn't supposed to read them first
