I wish I had contributed this project when it was a kick starter project-- that's how much I loved it! The book is so beautifully produced. I read it cover to cover but it could also serve as a reference book. The photographs are stunning and he does a fantastic job of introducing various amphora wine producers from Georgia to Italy to Oregon... this book tells everything you need to know about Orange wine-- from the production and history to food pairings and producers. There is also a great ch ...more

The story of orange wine is a recent one, and was one that I only had vague notions of before finally 'getting it' from Woolf's explanation of orange wine's multi-national rejuvenation. The story itself is a quick and enjoyable read. The highlighting of key producers in the back is a great grounding resour ...more

I wish I knew about this book earlier! Such a great read for any wine enthusiast, especially those in natural wines.

The book is essential for those who want to know more about Orange wine - a great overview of historic aspects and their influence on modern-day winemaking, some words about methods and techniques as well as a list of recommended producers.
