There isn't really much to say about this Bulgarian espionage novel. It isn't very exciting, the characters are mostly uninteresting, the writing is quite dull, and the plot just sort of unravels. The only truly interesting part of this book was its look into Bulgarian village life during the 1960s, but besides that it doesn't offer anything of substance and just wastes your time with a monotonous story. Definitely would not recommend this to anyone except those interested in post-war Bulgarian culture and history.
