3.5 stars Slay Me is the third and final book in the Puritan Coven series. This one is Cassie's story. It picks up pretty much right after the events of the second book, Hunt Me. Cassie is a home schooled sophomore trying to navigate her way through public school for the first time. Kyle is a vegan vampire just trying to stay on the straight and narrow.

For the most part, I enjoyed this one, but it wasn't my favorite of the series. It had great humor and the same fun characters as the other books

The Story:
This is book three in this series and I have loved reading/listening to them. In this instalment we get more from Cassandra – the vampire hunter daughters, and Vampire Kyle. I loved seeing Cassandra appear in the other books and enjoyed the fact that she got a story, being the younger sister to Van who is in love with vampire Morgan, I wondered how Cassandra;s story would play out. Kyle was bitten by is mother and was set to be a 16 year old for ever – until he decided to kick the bloo

Homeschool Slayer to High School Sweetheart
Slay Me by Louise Cypress is another great read.  I am so impressed with the whole little world that Ms. Cypress has created. In this book, we learn a lot more about vampires and what would happen if a vampire is a vegan as a human and even more now as a vampire. Out of these three books so far in the Puritan Coven Series, I have to say Slay Me is my favorite. Just like with Bite Me and Hunt Me we have two different points of views, the hero and heroi

In this comical three-book series, Cypress explores the depth of friendship, intimacy…and the undead. One boy forced to live in a world full of corrupt politics and…vampires? What is worse than that? You are surrounded by money and power, but what happens when you feel powerless to do the right thing because you are just a teenager? Cypress has some of the classic lore intertwined with some original scenes in the mix, making the third installment in this series one that will be hard for readers ...more

This is the third book in a series that has yet to fail me. I loved “Slay Me” just as much as the other two. I smiled and felt the tension together with our characters.

The best thing is that each book brings something new. “Slay Me” is the story of little Cassandra, who is not so little anymore. Her awkwardness is very visible and her lack of experience with the social environment of a school is very well described. There are no inconsistencies between the Cassandra from book 3 and what we know

Story: 5 starsNarration : 5 starsOverall: 5 stars. Slay Me is the third book in The Puritan Coven Series.  Cassandra Xander comes from a long line of Vampire Slayers, is a lethal martial arts expert, computer genius and previously home-schooled fifteen year old. This is the year that Cass finally gets to see what regular school is like, and her first impressions were disappointing, to say the least. After being turned into a Vampire at the insistence of his awful mother, animal lover Kyle goes o ...more

Reviewed on,
Slay Me is the last in the trilogy and concentrates on Cassandra and Kyle. For the first time ever Cassie goes to high School after being home schooled all her life. So when a handsome guy chats her up she thinks he is trying to hurt her, and her ninja fighting skills come out. When she tells parents they tell her he was asking her out not attacking her.
There is only one thing wrong with him and that is he is a Puritan Vampire and being fostered at Morgan’s ste

Some vampire violence, but a good clean story

Funny, intense, dramatic, and a good love story. I love good strong heroines, but I also like strong heroes. I love the twist on vampires in these books.

This book was cute. It remains a different kind of vampire story, still with plenty of humor and originality. The story is clean and appropriate for younger readers. This was a worthwhile, very entertaining read.

A sweet ending

A fun and sweet book. Yes I know it's about vampires, but this one made me feel gushy and happy. Maybe becuase it in cassandra's POV and it's her personality? But either way loved it :)
