Altered book and Deco projects will prompt you to gather your photos and ephemera, and motivate you to get started today! There are so many themes possible, and the decos are so beautiful, you'll want to make several. This is an ideal way to share a project with your creative friends.
Similar to a friendship book wherein people write notes or messages for the owner, a deco is a handmade piece of art created from a variety of materials and usually involves cardstock.
In this book there are decos from CDs, restaurant drink coasters, vintage greeting cards, plastic report cover folders, manila tags, cardstock, watercolor paper and decorative papers. There are no rules about the size, shape, number of pages, theme, decorations, or the materials you choose for your Deco.
