"It seems you have saltwater and stardust in your veins."

Well, that was a ride! I enjoyed this more than I anticipated. I must admit when I came on Goodreads and saw that this book had no ratings I was weary, the last time I read an indie book that had barely any ratings it was awful. However, I am happy to say, that this book proved my fears to be false!

Can we also take a moment to talk about that this book was CLEAN?!?!? I HAVEN'T COME ACROSS A SMUT-FREE RE-TELLING OR SPIN-OFF OF PETER PAN BE

Pan laughed. "I like you. You're clever."
"Oh the cleverness of me."
"You know your stories well."

description

I am a massive Peter Pan fan. If I even catch a whiff of something inspired by or retelling the classic story that I was obsessed with as a youngster, I am there for it. I don't care how cheesy or cliche it might be, I will still read it because PETER!! PAN!!

So, this was an enjoyable read, although very simplistic. It's obviously a short story written by someone who also loves the Neverland world an

This was a fun and fast read. I am actually sad i finished it.
I am a Peter Pan and Captain Hook Fan, well the last mostly at OUAT but still.
It was an adorable, clean and fun read and i liked basically all the characters there was and to be fair i liked the alternative ending much better than the ending that was. Peter Pan had his sassiness and funny reactions and Nya was cute. Tinker had a bit of a jealousy problem, but i think she is always like that, especially in Disney movies, of that i can

A short story that I would have loved to have seen worked out into a full novel.

Pleasant surprise

I'm not big on Peter Pan but this story sounded too interesting to put down. I was pleasantly surprised and wish it were longer!

R.M. Archer has been an avid reader since she was a toddler and has always been a lover of story. Her first exploration of the other side of the page was a mystery at age seven, and though her preferred genre has changed, her interest in writing has not. She's a homeschooled teenager living with her family in northern Virginia.
