From New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Jennifer Probst, Tessa Bailey, Elisabeth Naughton, Laura Kaye, and introducing Erika Wilde.
Five Dark Tales. Five Sensual Stories. Five Page Turners.
SOMEHOW, SOME WAY: A Billionaire Builders Novella by Jennifer Probst When an opportunity to transform a dilapidated house in a dangerous neighborhood pops up, Charlotte Grayson goes in full throttle. Unfortunately, she’s forced to work with the firm’s sexy architect Bolivar Randy Heart (aka Brady), who’s driving her crazy with his archaic views on women. Somehow, some way, they need to work together to renovate a house without killing each other…or surrendering to the white-hot chemistry knocking at the front door.
TOO CLOSE TO CALL: A Romancing the Clarksons Novella by Tessa Bailey A fairytale college career skyrocketed Kyler Tate to the NFL draft. Adoration and opportunity are thrown in his direction wherever he goes, thanks to being chosen in the first round by the Los Angeles Rage. None of the accolades mean anything, though, without his high school sweetheart, Bree Justice, by his side. Four years ago, she walked away from Kyler, choosing a quiet life over the flash and notoriety his career would someday bring. Now he’s back in their Indiana hometown, refusing to leave for Los Angeles without her.
HUNTED: An Eternal Guardians Novella by Elisabeth Naughton Erebus was Hades’ secret weapon in the war between the immortal realms until Hades lost him in a bet to Zeus. For the last hundred years, Erebus has trained Zeus’s Siren warriors in warfare and the sexual arts. But he’s never stopped longing for freedom. Lately, he also longs for one Siren who entranced him during their steamy seduction sessions. A nymph he quickly became obsessed with and who was ripped from his grasp when her seduction training was complete. One he’s just learned Zeus has marked for death.
EYES ON YOU: A Blasphemy Novella by Laura Kaye When a sexy stranger asks Wolf Henrikson to rescue her from a bad date, he never expected to want the woman for himself. But their playful conversation turns into a scorching one-night stand that reveals the shy beauty gets off on the idea of being seen, even if she’s a little scared of it, too. As Wolf introduces her to his world at Blasphemy, Liv finds herself tempted to explore submission and exhibitionism with the hard-bodied Dom.
THE MARRIAGE DIARIES by Erika Wilde Even after nearly twenty years of marriage, Jillian Noble is still madly in love with her sexy-as-sin husband, Dean. But now that their two sons are grown and it’s just the two of them alone again, there’s something that Jillian wants from her husband—the dominant man he rarely lets show. When Dean agrees to unleash his more assertive side, all bets are off as he introduces her to dark, forbidden desires that will change the course of their marriage.
Every Dark Nights tale is breathtakingly sexy and magically romantic.

This is probably my favourite 1001 bundle yet, and is a lot of bang for your buck.
It is difficult to review a collection like this because each novella has its own strengths and distinct narrative voice. I've said that before, and it bears repeating. I do have a favourite story, but that's mainly because I have read a lot of other work by the author, and it is always a real joy to revisit her world. (No, I'm not going to name names!)
That said, each of these stories stands up on their own. The authors all skillfully create detailed, charged tales which will sweep you up.
Another winner!

4 stars. I have read most of these 1001 Dark Night Bundle books. I like that I can normally find several really good stories and new authors in each bundle. This one was no different. Lots of good stuff packed into this bundle!
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Jennifer Probst, Tessa Bailey, Elisabeth Naughton, Laura Kaye, and introducing Erika Wilde.
Here are my thoughts:
SOMEHOW, SOME WAY: A Billionaire Builders Novella by Jennifer Probst:
3.75 stars. This was a pretty good book! I really liked this story. This is Charlotte and Brady's story. Charlotte is a house renovator for the company Brady is an architect for. They are forced to spend time together on a project, where they go from enemies to friends to lovers. I liked Charlotte and Brady and I felt the love between them. Their relationship was a little slow burn. They didn't like each other and prejudged each other at first, which bothered me a bit. Also, I didn't like that Brady was so stuck on having traditional gender roles. That he loved Charlotte but was willing to let her go, because he wanted a wife that didn't work. He did eventually see the light, but I wanted him to see it sooner. Still, I did like the novella. I also liked the family and friend group in this series, as well as the house renovations aspect. I have not read anything by Ms. Probst before, but I will definitely try her again in the future.
TOO CLOSE TO CALL: A Romancing the Clarksons Novella by Tessa Bailey:
4 stars. This was a good, little novella! This is Kyler and Bree's story. Kyler was a high school football star and totally in love with Bree. She loved Kyler, but did not feel like she could leave her single father alone after high school. She decided not go to college. But she didn't want Kyler to give up his dreams of playing college football and going into the NFL draft. So she broke up with him with no explanation. She became an assistant to her veterinarian father and worked with animals. Kyler, heart-broken, went off to college and was drafted into the NFL. Neither of them dated anyone else. At the draft, Kyler realized how he had always imagined Bree there with him. He returns to their small town to convince Bree that they are meant to be together.
I liked Kyler and Bree together. Kyler was very sweet and totally in love with Bree. I liked Bree, but her reason for breaking up with Kyler with no explanation to him was a little frustrating. I loved that, while they were separated for 4 years, both were celibate and never even thought about being with others. I did feel like the story was a bit rushed. There was enough in the story to be fleshed out into a full length book, but it was packed into a novella instead. Still, I did enjoy seeing Kyler and Bree get their HEA. This was a very sweet, sexy, small-town feeling romance and I very much enjoyed it! Tessa Bailey never disappoints!
HUNTED: An Eternal Guardians Novella by Elisabeth Naughton:
3.75-4 stars. This was a really good story! I was a bit worried because I haven't read this series before and had no idea on the world building. But I caught up quickly and understood what was going on. This is a PNR book set in a God/Goddess themed world. This was Sera/Seraphine and Erebus's book. Erebus is a minor God, forced to work for Zeus, helping train Siren warriors. Sera is one of the warriors he trained. They became lovers and developed feelings for each other, but are forced to move on when Sera's term with him is over. Now, eighteen months later, Erebus has been sent on an errand to find a runaway Siren, which turns out to be Sera. She is on the run and hiding an artifact that could change the fate of history. When Erebus finds out the truth, the two rekindle their feelings and join forces to save the world. The story was sexy and suspenseful, but also funny at times and emotional. I really enjoyed the world building in this series and look forward to reading more from it and Ms. Naughton!
EYES ON YOU: A Blasphemy Novella by Laura Kaye:
4 stars. This was a good book! I think this is my favorite Blasphemy book yet. Each new book in the series keeps getting better and better! This is Wolf and Liv's story. Wolf is one of the twelves owners of the Blasphemy club. He has been feeling tired of the club life and wants to find someone to settle down with. Liv owns a flower shop. She has had terrible luck with men and is running out of hope of finding a long term relationship. She is on a date from Hell with a big jerk when Wolf overhears her distress and saves her. They have an instant chemistry and end up spending the weekend together. Both of them feel like fate brought them to the same restaurant that night and they start spending more time together. Wolf introduces her to the Blasphemy club and his kink, voyeurism, and finds she already had an unexplored interest in that. It is easy for them to fall for each other!
I really liked both Liv and Wolf. They were so fun together- sweet, sexy and playful- like they've known each other forever. They had a great connection and banter. I loved that neither of them took the BDSM to the extreme or took themselves too seriously. I also loved that this was an easy read, without much angst, and that there was no pushing away, doubts, secrets, or big blow outs. The voyeurism aspect was super sexy too.
Overall, this book was sweet, sexy and fun! Looking forward to more from Ms. Kaye and Blasphemy!
THE MARRIAGE DIARIES by Erika Wilde:
3 stars. This was only okay for me. This book is a series of scenes that I felt did not work well as a full book. I understand they were original released as a serial, and maybe they worked better that way. This book is about a married couple trying to spice up their sex lives by trying out different things. I don't mind books about married couples, but there was very little conflict to keep my interest. There were some hot sex scenes, but not much story to move along. The wife, Jillian, came off as pushy and overly aggressive too. I was turned off by the dominatrix scene and the scene where the husband watches the wife dance sexily with other men at a club. Overall, I didn't enjoy this story very much, but it might be just my personal taste.
Overall, I do recommend this bundle of novellas. They definitely kept me entertained and were all different and interesting in their own ways. I love these anthologies and have found some great new authors in them!
So much fun--loving this series! Brady and Charlie absolutely did not disappoint--they were just amazing together. Watching them go from can-barely-tolerate to can't-stay-away was soooo much fun. Their relationship conflict was believable, and nicely resolved. (Brady's sit-down with his parents was looooong overdue, though. How did he get to be his age and still not truly understand his parents' relationship? Poor, deluded man...)
If you haven't read the other books in the series yet, this one would be a fine way to start--a great intro to the series, without being too spoiler-y for the others. As a novella, it really focuses on the main couple over the previous two. If you have read the others, though, you've been looking forward to seeing what would happen when Brady and Charlie were forced to spend time in close proximity--so settle in and wait to be entertained!

Too Close to Call by Tessa Bailey
Too Close to Call is a sweet second chance romance. It's #3.5 in theRomancing the Clarksons series, but since there isn't a single Clarkson to be seen here (unless I missed them? I was really trying to keep an eye out, though...) I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it absolutely works as a standalone.
Too Close has a very short time frame--making it perfect for a novella--which gives Kyler's "I'm here to talk her into marrying me before I have to leave again" agenda special urgency.
Which makes his hesitancy to talk to her about a relationship that goes beyond friendship? Kind of confusing.
Still, this book has plenty of hot, steamy moments and Kyler and Bree clearly have an abundance of chemistry, which makes this a quick, fun summer read. Their lack of communication gets frustrating at times (Just talk to her, already! was a common refrain for both this reader and Kyler's mom...) but seriously, everything is made better by an absolutely adorkable epilogue, which made every aggravating moment before that fade to black.

Hunted by Elisabeth Naughton
I've been meaning to read this series for a while now, and reading one of its novellas seemed like it might be the perfect way to ease into it.
I'm happy to say I wasn't wrong!
Though Ms. Naughton has definitely created a fairly complicated world here, enough of it is revealed in this novella to both satisfy newbies and not bore series readers. Some of the other series characters play side roles, but Erebus and Sera are really the focus of this story, and their backstory is the only one you really need to know to enjoy this book. And enjoy it I did. I have to admit, that the resolution to their big, almost life-as-we-know-it-ending drama practically had me doing a fist pump. (But just almost, because I was lying on my back, using both hands to hold up my e-reader. That would have hurt...) Well played, Ms. Naughton!

Eyes on You by Laura Kaye
Eyes on You is a quick, hot, sexy and surprisingly sweet read, though I almost wish that Wolf and Liv had a full-length book because I really liked their characters. I loved their meet-cute (Olivia's bad date is truly of epic proportions) and though things moved fairly quick for them, their relationship somehow didn't feel rushed. Like the other books in the series, this one works just fine as a standalone--though if you have read some (or all) of the other books, the little glimpses you see of prior books' MCs adds to the fun.

The Marriage Diaries by Erika Wilde
For what it is--a series of interludes in which a long-married couple explore their sexuality now that their children are out of the house--it is entertaining. It's lovely to see two people stay together and still have this much heat even after almost twenty years and two kids. However, it's really not a story. There's zero tension here (other than sexual, of course) and absolutely no conflict. Perhaps if this had been a couple that I'd seen struggle through an actual plot in previous book(s) this would have had more of an impact, but as it is it's just two people in a loving relationship having sex.
Which can be fairly fun to read, but is not an actual story. (Plus, aren't their boys going to come home on leave and breaks and such? How the heck are they going to explain mom and dad's new basement playroom to them???)

I am so honored that I got to review 1001 Dark Nights Bundle.
STARTING OFF THE 1001 Dark Nights is Jennifer Probst. Somehow, Some Way (Billionaire Builders #2.5) – 120 pages per Goodreads. – Contemporary Romance
I have read a few of Jennifer Probst books and have really enjoyed reading them.
“Somehow, some way, they need to work together to renovate a house without killing each other... or surrendering to the white-hot chemistry knocking at the front door.”
And that is where Jennifer Probst came up with the title for this Novella.
Brady went to college with Caleb (Cal) Pierce. Brady became friends with all the Pierce Brothers. After Brady graduated with an Architectural degree & passed his boards he was hired on to work with the Pierce Brothers Construction.
Is it wrong to have LOL when Brady came into contact with the bat? you will have to read this book to understand ;) Oh BTW I guess the moral of the story is that women can take care of themselves.
I loved Charlie’s personality – a little brash, a touch irritating, self reliant, can take care of herself.
Uh Brady you might have said a little too much and may be a male chauvinistic pig…. Just saying.
The Next book a new to me author is Too Close to Call by Tessa Bailey. This is a contemporary sports romance. Another very enjoyable book. This is Bree Justice and Kyler Tate's story. It is Romancing the Clarksons #3.5 in the series.
Hunted is a Paranormal story and another new to me author Elisabeth Naughton. I love paranormal's so I really loved reading Hunted. This time it is a mix of Greek mythology and a paranormal.
Eyes on You by Laura Kaye. Who has been around but, I hadn't read any of her books until now. So another author that I will follow from here on out. This novella is Blasphemy #2.5 and is a BDSM genre that I love!
And, last but not least is The Marriage Diaries by Erika Wilde who is not new to me but who was being introduced to the 1001 Dark Nights. I loved it! The is the story of Jillian and Dean Noble. Their kids are grown and Jillian was ready to make things interesting again between them.
I am going to give this installment of 1001 Dark Nights Bundle 16 4.5 stars.
Somehow, Some Way – Brady is an architect for The Pierce Brothers and has very traditional ideas about what he wants in a woman. Charlotte’s past has made her determined to succeed in renovating houses and her take me as I am attitude is rubbing Brady the wrong way. The sparks fly when they need to work together on a project, but can these two opposites find common ground?
Too Close To Call – Kyler and Bree were best friends and high school sweethearts however when he left for college she stayed behind. Four years later his love for Bree hasn’t changed so he is determined to go home and get the girl before he embarks on his professional career. Will he be able to convince her that they have always belonged together?
Hunted - Erebus is a very successful trainer of Sirens however when it came to Sera it was much more personal. When he is sent to find the Siren who failed her last test he can’t believe it is Sera. When Sera developed feelings for Erebus she knew that she needed to leave. Now that Erebus has found her will he choose duty or love?
Eyes On You – Liv’s blind date couldn’t be going any worse until she is rescued by Wolf. Wolf has been stood up by his date so when he sees the situation that Liv is in he can’t help but step in to assist. The sparks fly between them especially once they find out that they are both into exhibitionism. Is this just a steamy weekend or the start of something more?
The Marriage Diaries – Jillian has been married to Dean, her sexy ex-Navy SEAL, for 20 years and the love between them has never faltered. Now that their sons are grown and have left the house she decides this is the time to explore the sexual side of their marriage more deeply but once she unleashed the alpha in Dean will they both be able to handle it?
This is a great way to experience some new authors as well as read stories by the authors you love all in one set. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Probably the best anthology I've had the pleasure of reading
I had already read and loved Jennifer Probst's and Laura Kaye's series, I'd read a couple of books from Tessa Bailey, though not this series, and I was brand new to both Erika Wilde and Elisabeth Naughton. A few different genres here, what these stories all had in common was great characters, great writing and plenty of heat. Every one of these stories rates 5 stars from me, making this probably the best anthology I've had the pleasure of reading. Highly recommend. 5+ stars. See individual comments below.
Somehow, Some Way: A Builders novella by Jennifer Probst Contemporary, enemies-to-lovers. Great character development. Sweet, hot and funny, this is my idea of a great read. 5 stars.
Too Close Too Call: A Romancing the Clarksons novella by Tessa Bailey New to me series. New Adult and second chances, which aren't usually my favorite but I loved this one. Great characters and a plot that kept me on the edge of my seat as I tried to figure out what was going to happen. Lots of feels to go along with the heat. 5+ stars.
Hunted: An External Guardians novella by ElIsabeth Naughton New to me author and series. Fantasy, Greek gods. Amazing world building, great characters, plenty of heat. Loved the way this story built off of Greek myths, and I'll be reading more in the series. 5 stars
Eyes On You: A Blasphemy novella by Laura Kaye BDSM. Always a fan of both this author and this steries, and Wolf and Liv's story is no exception. Loved these characters, and the mix of a little humor with all the heat. 5 stars
The Marriage Diaries by Erika Wilde Erotica. I was very quickly drawn into this story of an empty-nester couple rekindling the heat in the marriage. Great characters and I could certainly feel those flames. My understanding is that this is the first of an intended series; I'm going to be keeping my eyes peeled for more. 5 stars.
Holy crap what a bundle this one is!!! Something for everyone but you know each and everyone carries the heat that you've come to expect from the 1001 Dark Nights Series.
You'll get sweet and sassy, a boy left that but came back a man bound and determined to win his woman no matter what, one that has to decide what he'll do for love and will it be enough? One that has a master that questions what he really wants and is surprised by his answer, then last by not least we have a couple that she wants to ratchet it up in the bedroom and boy is her husband pleasantly surprised.
What I love about these bundles is the ability to read a variety of stories in 1 book! While this particular bundle included some authors that I love, I LOVED reading new-to-me authors as well. And I don't normally read paranormal or otherworldly books, I really enjoyed Elizabeth Naughton's story! In fact, I want to go back and read more from her series. I enjoyed the push pull all these characters seemed to have and held my breath, captive, waiting for more. I couldn't devour this bundle fast enough. I found it fun to get a whole new story right after completing one and liked how not one story was the same. I can't recommend this bundle enough! Be sure to grab your copy today!
Some of the novellas fell out of my reading comfort zone due to content. But I can honestly say that the writing was very good by all the authors. I'm not a huge paranormal fan, and I don't do erotica/BDSM so those stories you'll have to decide on your own. I can say I've read other works by Elisabeth Naughton (her romantic suspense) and really enjoyed them. All in all, I'd read other works by all the authors and look forward to the next discovery bundle!
This is an awesome bundle of 5 dark romance from 5 amazingly talented authors. Once Ibstartef reading O couldn't put this book down every story was page turning and so good. If you like your romance with some dark in them this is absolutely for yo u!
I got this book because I love Laura Kaye. The first two stories were good. The third I didn't care for and didn't finish. Laura never disappoints. Those Blasphemy books are HOT! I didn't finish the last one, it was hot, but I was done.
