A very fast read. excellent pointers on character, scene and plot development. It was like taking a class. Unique in that McGuinness uses 1 novel and breaks it down for you as to why Lee Child is so successful.
I still wish I knew how Lee Child came up with characters that hit all the right notes. It truly was amazing that this was the first time he ever wrote anything.
McGuinness does a great job of breaking down how it's done.
I also liked that McGuinness points out some mistakes Lee Child made. Hey, even Steph Curry misses a 3 now and then
Overall terrific book. Great Learning experience. And can easily be read 2 or even 3 times and probably should.
