I need part three!
Brilliant! Exciting! Emotive! I could go on but I must say, this series is the most original I’ve ever read. I love Kira, she’s snarky, sexy, tough and has such a huge heart. Though she’d deny it. There is so much pain being felt, and carried by some characters that it’s hard to acknowledge. Poor Az, who is my second favourite, has suffered for many lifetimes. I’m left with several friend-characters and cannot wait to see where the balance between good, evil, humanity and godki ...more

I am finding these books slow to start, the second book started slow because we jumped over ahead in time. I find myself wondering if I forgot something from the first book or if it was part of this "jump" that I wasn't supposed to have seen. The end of the book is always the best part because things start flowing again, more action. Blake's storyline was lacking so I'm hoping that picks back up in part three.

More tension and more questions arise when Kira and Az, aided by the hilarious Leona and her ward, Vail, escape the clutches of the Facility, only to find themselves in more trouble when secrets about Az's true identity come to the fore. There's a rush of excitement with every page in this one, replete with a dazzling set of metal wings, and the mystery of what's going on with Kira's own metal arm is intriguing to say the least. A great escape!
