This is a weird, incredible story, but I couldn't help but stay tuned to hear how everything was going to go down. I wasn't sure who were the "bad" or "good" ones.
There was no real romantic development between Cassie & Michael. There were just a lot of steamy moments between them that didn't exactly paint a picture of them being madly in love. Also, Cassie was too enticed/distracted by several other players for me to fully buy in to her and Michael's sudden relationship in the end. The ending was incomplete, too. Probably to encourage us to get the next in the series?
The narration wasn't bad, but there were a few mispronounced words.
This is definitely only for readers 18+.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I dived into this book but I wasn’t disappointed.
Michael Ford and Cassie Thurmond are two of the main characters in this enjoyable book. Cassie is hired to a job and Michael is who she wants to take down. He is charming and used to getting what he wants.
But, not all is as it seems. It takes a grand party for the truth to come out. Does Michael get what he wants at the end? Does Cassie do her job that she was hired for?
It’s quite entertaining and intended for adults due to sexual content. You’ll laugh. You’ll have WTF moments. It’s worth the time to read. This author does not disappoint, ever.

Code red isn’t my usual read. It belongs in the saucy book section. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be funny but it did have me laughing at times. The writing style is good and I really liked the narrator.
Cassie is hired to clean up the scandal of Parker memorial hospital. The place is more like a porn studio than a professional business. Once she enters the hospital the sexy time is worse than one can imagine. While she tries to gather her evidence some of the players become enticing to her. Will she solve the problem of the overactive doctors or will she be too intrigued by the morgue.

Cassie's new job is to clean up the very inappropriate emphasis on sex seemingly by most of the personnel at the hospital. It seems like even those who are on her side are involved and the complaints are all anonymous. The CEO and CMO hung her out to dry when she had a hearing to get Dr. Ford fired. But when she attends Dr. Ford's annual charity gala at his home, she is able to solve, with Ford's help, who all the major players are and get them their just desserts.

Entertaining, but sooo out there
Kinda funny premise for the book, but the writing was a little confusing at times. Maybe there should have been more chapters to break things up a little better? And the ending was pretty abrupt.
Although there were a couple really funny parts of the book that had me laughing pretty hard. Fun read, but glad it was free w/ KU.

I was eager to dive into this story, the thought of naughty doctors was enticing. What I got was a story that was rushed, it had under developed characters, the narration was monotone, words were pronounced wrong and the ending was stupid. This book and it's narration was not for me!!

Code Red was a very entertaining spicy read. This book had some interesting characters and some funny scenes. This is my first book by Cerise Dalton.
