An Introduction to Chemistry for Biology Students, Sixth Edition, is a proven way for students to brush up on chemistry basics necessary for other science courses. This edition offers four new chapters and 73 new illustrations.
I read this as a refresher. I am 67 and it is some years since I did my Biology degree. Now that I am retired, I intend to read more biology books. I thought this chemistry introduction would be a good place to start refreshing my knowledge. It is a good basic book for the beginning of biology studies at an advanced level. It is not in depth, but a good, easy place to start. It has managed to bring back a lot of information into my brain that I had not thought about or used for some time.
I think the answer key should be in the back of the book. otherwise it makes it hard to try and figure it out if the answer is right there next to the question. Also I would like a bit more explanation on some of the things, Particularly the answers. Other than that, good chemistry book.
