I was on the promotional blog tour for this book!
I remember reading the original novel on Wattpad a few years ago and really liking it. A good girl meets bad boy story, with lots of humor, pranks and also some heartfelt moments to do with family and high school life. I can see young teenagers relating to topics such as falling in love for the first time and also with first heartbreak. Riley meets Alec after he moves in next door to her family. What follows is a awkward friendship and possible lo ...more

Well... I don't quite know what to think of it tbh.
For like 75% of it I was all invested in the lightness of will they or won't they. A nice little contemporary for me to read. I mean look at the name of the book, it's hilarious. 10000000% guilty pleasure. I just think the last 25% of the book was a bit meh for me.

The title of this book may sound extremly cheesy but it was more than just the cliché title.
Books like this are actually one of the reasons that I enjoy YA contemporary so much. Before reading this book I had no idea what it was about, all I knew was that it used to be a Wattpad story, which I think is amazing becaue many people were given the oppertunities from that to publish their stories and turn them into books.

I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.
I've said it time and time again, but during the summer, especially when the weather is nice and hot, like it's been in England lately with the heatwave, I adore reading cutesy contemporaries. When I saw this book on NetGalley, it seemed like the perfect summer read, and it really was - I mean, I read it all in a day, so that'll tell you how good it was. So I read this book when it first came out on wattpad a couple of years ago and I loved it and there I was scrolling through arc's to request and this came up and I was so excited because this book definitely deserved to get published.

Thanks , That rescued me from a reading slump ♥.
The book was cute and funny. I would have given it a 3 but the book has deeper meanings to it.I can't deny that the title was the first thing that intrigued me (and embarrassed me a little) but I wouldn't have liked the book that much if it was that alone.
The characters here were adorable & fantastic. The family aspects were executed very well. I love Riley 's mother a lot. I liked listening to the story from this point of view . I lovvvved Alec . ...more

I'm 99% sure I read this on Wattpad, but I honestly didn't remember much from the book so it didn't really make any sort of difference in how I read this book (in terms of comparing it to the online, amateur, drafted version to this edited and professionally published one). However, knowing it came from Wattpad was always in the back of my mind, and I think even if you didn't know, you ...more

Aaaah I feel like I'm being a little hard on this book. 2 stars just seems like such a low rating. Maybe, given that I absolutely realised this was a Wattpad book, and continued to read it for the nostalgia of those days I should bump it up to a 2.5? But I did request this book under the impression that it would more comical take on the bad boy tropes, not... the tropes themselves... ...more

I was this around wattpad a few years ago but never read it.
Now reading it, I am just disappointed
The storyline itself was weak and over used. The characters had no depth and even the 'problems' weren't even real
It was an annoying read for me.

There was a time - following a period where I had spent an obscene amount of money buying books - where I thought I could beat the system by reading free stories online. Enter Wattpad. Needless to say (it just take a glance at my rating), it didn't take long before I was at the book store again. Editors exist for a reason.

So I started reading this book this morning and was done within a couple of hours - I just got so sucked into the story! I remember reading this on Wattpad a good few years ago (and loving it) so my 14 year old self would be over the moon right now! I can vividly recall 13-year-old me squealing and swooning at various moments throughout the Wattpad version of this story.
Of course, 16-year-old me is aware that this is by no means great literature, or anything of the sort, but I couldn't resist picking this up, just for old times sake.
Although it was unrealistically dramatic at times, and presumably oh-so-very-Wattpad (for the uncultured swines out there, that's not particularly a good thing), I will admit that I enjoyed reading this. It was ...more

“Unfortunately, a dare is a dare. I have to follow the rules.”
He closes his eyes, completely at ease.
“Whose dare was it?”
His eyes open. “Private information.”
“Screw you”
“Is that an offer?” He smirks.
“I’ll get it back, and I’ll get you back, just wait and see.”
Alec’s dimples flash and his eyes close once more.
“That’s more like it.”

The book is awesome. I get myself giggle and smile all the time. The characters were all fantastic. The storyline and the transition were all great. It’s really fun and easy reading. I have learned that Lauren Price loves to make people smile and so she did it. The title is catchy and intrigued me at the first sight. To be honest, it is compelling and I wasn’t able to put it down.

it was cute. the whole book was just adorable. this is the best line of the whole book
“Honey, you’re so sweet that you’ll put Hershey’s out of business,” Alec drawls. “And speaking of Hershey’s – how about a kiss?”
“That was your best one? Seriously?”
“No,” Alec snorts. “But I already know you want to be my girlfrien.”
“You mean girlfriend,” I correct him.
“What?”
“You didn’t pronounce the ‘D’. . .”
“Oh.” Alec smirks. “Don’t you worry about that. You’ll get the D later.”

I just wanna say that I have read this book previously, when it was originally on Wattpad. I first read this book around 3 or 4 years ago, luckily I didn’t remember any of what happened except for 3 scenes that happened in the book. I was also able to forget what the major reveal before reading it in its final form, which is good. This book is really fun and an enjoyable read and from memory, better/improved from when it was on Wattpad with the way ...more

I do love a good contemporary. For me, it's the genre that I always go to when I want quick, light read. Or even if I'm in a major reading slump and I NEED TO GET OUT OF IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE. When it came to reading A Bad Boy Stole My Bra, it was because I needed a quick, light read. I was on the way back from Malta, the sun was shining, and I wanted something where I could chill, and not think too hard. (That sounds so bad like I'm saying contemporaries aren't hard to write, but I just mean
