Amy has all grown up. However, she's still not safe from danger. Her former guardian doesn't have her best interests at heart and wants to get his hands on Amy's best friend. But Amy is determined to not let anyone hurt the people she loves.

It was wonderful to see what happened to such a unique character. Ms. O'Connor has created a character who is strong at a time when women didn't have much say in their lives, often at the whim of their guardians and husbands. Amy puts herself in danger in ord
