An enjoyable summary of scholastic research about the church. Material is drawn from several authors including Bruce R McConkie, Cleon Skousen, James E Talmage, Sidney Sperry, Hugh Nibley, and several others. A biography at the end of the book lists 6 pages of sources that could be used for further study.

This was a great book and somewhat heavy reading, but it really expanded my understanding of Abraham and temples. There are a lot of interesting things about the Egyptians and how they built a lot of their religion on things they learned from Abraham while he was there. If you like reading things that open your mind, read this.

I had already read most of his source material so there wasn't a lot of new information here for me, but he pulls it all nicely together in one volume.

Excellent! Written by my former bishop. He was an excellent speaker and a wonderful leader.
