Creeps me out
Isa Hunt's Awakening Dragon is billed as a reverse harem paranormal romance. It certainly has all the right ingredients - magic, dragon shifters, bear shifters, puma shifters, wolf shifters, mysterious villains with evil intent, and a story line filled with potential for action, suspense, and sex - BUT... Reading this book is not fun. It's sort of like reading a Saturday morning cartoon script. Everything moves too fast, and there is no depth to it. No character development, not much backstory, and an almost surreal feeling of disconnection despite the great potential for all the feels. Worse than that is the relentlessly chipper, upbeat, YA tone of the whole book, like it was written by an enthusiastic sixteen year old. I have serious trouble reconciling that with the reverse harem aspect. (Not that the sex is very interesting - it's just as brief, disconnected, and emotionless as the rest of the book.) It just doesn't work for me, and I'm not interested in the rest of the series either. I am reviewing an ARC; this is voluntary, independent, and uncompensated; and I don't recommend this book

Arc review For honest review.Kelly goes to the full moon to go to work about the dreams of mountains and fires and flying And to work. She realizes she's been stalked this is where she needs benoit a alpha wolf shifter, Paul a alpha bear shifter, and rex a alpha pumas shifter their there to protect her and tell her a secret . This was a great story that I really enjoyed.

In Kelly’s dreams, there were jagged mountains, storm clouds, lightning, and roaring fire like a hurricane wind – but the fire was coming from her! It burned everything to ash! She jolted awake, realizing she had experienced this same dream for as long as she could remember. What did it mean? What was it trying to tell her? She got up and showered, heading for her job at The Full Moon bar.
Kelly is going to find out she is not exactly what she had thought herself to be – not an average human but, in fact, a very special and unique shifter! Her life is in danger now. But three men enter her life to protect her and help her become what fate has decreed. There will be adventure and excitement along the way but, with her male companions beside her, will she reach her ultimate destiny?
This story has potential as the reader gets to see deeper into the characters and their roles. The story line provides suspense as the reader waits to see just what is expected of Kelly and whether she will survive to complete it. I look forward to the next book to continue her adventure.

ON A FAST TRACK FOR GLORY!!!
If you're looking for an action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from start. Congrats my friends you've just stepped off in it. Intrigue, suspense, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping is the ground work of this delightful tale. The characters were intriguing and complex with a undeniable connection between the four main characters. Following the characters along mesmerized as their personalities transformed and blended. The scenes were so vividly detailed and descriptive it felt like being at ground zero, right in the middle. Twists, turns and unexpected surprises that kept my attention and focused on the pages as the tale unfolds. This page turner has all the drama a sane person could handle. Good thing I'm not sane. Isa did a great job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Isa, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

The story focuses on a young woman named Kelly living her life as a bartender who has strange recurring dreams of fire and mountains. Through a series of events, she finds out that she has a role to play in a secretive world of shifters living among humans. She is the last remaining member of a race of dragon shifters who rule over all the other shifters. The way she earns this title and prestige is by having sex with multiple shifter partners at the same time. The story is told from multiple points of view, to include Kelly and her three lovers. Because of the concept behind the story, much of the book, for me was about the attraction between Kelly and the male characters and the sex. There was very little actual interesting story development for me because of this. Unfortunately, this just wasn't for me.

This is a fascinating, intriguing book and I really enjoyed reading it. This book is about: a young woman (Kelly) who is totally clueless about her heritage and the three alpha shifters (Paul, Rex & Benoit) who become her lovers and wake up her powers. What you will find in this book is: stalkers, wolf shifters, puma shifters, bear shifters, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, mystery, enemies, threats, evil, disbelief, defiance, multipal mates, captured, rescued, conflict, lust, passion and some steamy scenes. The story-line is impressive and well written, the plot is taut and terrific and keeps the reader’s attention. The characters are well developed and realistic with their feelings. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well-written reverse harem paranormal romance.

Great New Author
This was my first Isa Hunt book. I liked it so well that I am going to be reading more of her stories. Especially the continuation of this one.
Kelly thought she was just a normal 23 year old woman, except she has had this recurring dream all her life about fire and mountains.
She meets one guy, Benoit, who saves her from danger. Then on their way to safety another guy, Paul, shows up to help and explains things to her. Especially the part where she gets multiple alpha mates. All this time she is being hunted. She finds out about shifters and her true role in that world.
Rex, is a third guy that is to be part of her "harem". He is older and has a little bit more information as to how she is to become a dragon.
If you like shifter stories then get started on this one!

This is the story of Kelly an ordinary girl who works in a bar called the Full Moon she is stalked by a man and is chased into the bar by a very large wolf. Kelly thinks that she is going crazy when a wolf turns into a man ahh but she’s not crazy!. I’m not giving anymore spoilers because I don’t want to give too much away and spoil it for you, this is a fantastic read and the start of a new series I can’t wait to read the next book and more from this author. There’s action, adventure, danger, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. A 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read, I loved this story and I know you will too.

Holy cow this is one hot read !! The action starts right from the first page and keeps going !! Just have to say when Jake came up to Kelly and intro himself he sounds so sweet and hot ! Dang I so did not expect what all happens next !!! And the alphas in this story ??!! HOT ALERT !! This is a bit different from the usual shifter romance that I read but I just have to say that I have become a fan ! Isa Hunt does an outstanding job with this story ! And the alphas are all so different in shapes and actions ! This story is so good I wish I could give it even more stars !!! STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO ALL PNR READERS !!!

This is a different take on dragons. Suspense, hate, love and more. I even laughed when I shouldn't have. You just couldn't help it. We have Kelly who has not idea that she is a shifter. She is being followed by Benoit, but thinks he's dangerous, until Jake another shifter goes after her. What she finds out about her and the shifter world, scares her. Can she accept the shifter world? Can she accept being mated to more than one person? Can she accept being the Dragon Queen? Can her mates protect her until they all can mate or will Jake's crew get to her? I received an arc copy for my honest review.

While I'm not a huge fan of Harem type books. I did like this one. The characters were great. I would have liked this book so much better had it been just about a couple and not one girl many guys. I just find that concept to be sl_ _ ty and unrealistic so I don't normally go for these kinds of books.. However as I said I liked the characters enough to want to read more about them. Would I recommend this book.....hmmmm....probably not. But again that is due to the Harem aspect of the story rather then my liking of the book or not.

Benoit persuades her to flee with him and he tells her what she really is.

Giving this 2 stars instead of 1...simply because it had potential. I'm not going to say don't read because some people may find this a good book, but for me it lacked in many things. She goes from sobbing in a fetal position saying the guys are crazy after a gun fight with to in like 4 pages basically saying "Ok let's go fuck and see if it's true". It really did have potential but was way to rushed for the story so far, I mean it would of been fine if one of the guys picked her up and said let's bang...but the plot leading up to it needed more than all that.

For the most part I enjoyed this one. I liked the premise, the action, and the fast-pace of the action. The problem I had was not being able to stay connected to the characters. There were parts where I had to remind myself that Kelly was an adult and not a teenager. Things smoothed out as the story progressed though, so I have a lot of hope for the rest of the series. I am looking forward to the next book.

Boy! Talk about hitting the streets running. Every thing is so fast, scary and dangerous. Crazy things are happening and I don't think it will stop soon. It's exciting and fasted paced. This book is full of action from start to finish! I've never read a reverse harem before and I was not disappointed. This book has all the sexy you could ever want. My only issue is that it just stops. I am now anxiously waiting for the next book!

Has potential
From the Blurb I had high hopes sadly they fell a little short. FMC was a little annoying. The writing felt rushed, idk why the author choose so many different words for vagina at times I felt like I was reading a historical romance with the word choices.
Hopefully book 2 will be more smoothly written, less rushed.

This book was very entertaning. I was captivated from the very begining and couldn't put the book down. It was well written and the storyline was spot on. The bond that four total strangers shared was incredible. I enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading more. I received this book as a complimentary ARC and this is my honest review.

This is a new author to me. The book is great. The beginning was different with Kelly waking up from a dream of mountains and flames. And having this dream for years. Then, throw in what she thinks is a stalker and then being chased after by a large wolf. So much action and drama throughout the book.

A very good read . Kelly doesn’t know she’s the last red dragon but she finds out when people keep trying to kill her. Then she meets the first of her mates .

Good premise
I liked this story, I wouldn't, however, say that I loved it. There's the potential here for something spectacular but it needs some real tough love.
It's also not that long, I read it in just over an hour.

I gave it four stars because it's just not my kind of story. WaY to much sex. I don't mind sex scenes but this one's revolves more around the sex than the story. I prefer the story with some sex thrown in.

What could be cooler than to find out you are a dragon? Kelly didn't think it was cool. She was living alone working as a bartender. She believes people are following her. One night after work all heck breaks loose. Can Kelly survive?

I’ve been in a book rut for a while, not enjoying much of anything. But this book right here blew me the heck outta it. It’s really amazing and a great read! Highly recommend.

I chose to read and review this book. I enjoyed reading it this book is full of action the plot and flow are great but felt there was something missing in this one but the shifter and his mate were well connected and good couple together awaiting the next one
