I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are 100 percent mine, and I was not financially compensated in any way.

First of all this book is a completely clean romance--no sex, profanity, or anything that will offend more sensitive readers. It is truly heartwarming, and if you like Hallmark movies, you have found your new book!

I did enjoy and connect with the two main characters--Cass and Luke. Both are a little bit older and have been married before. That alrea

In my review of The Happiness Pact, I expressed a desire to find out more about the mysterious Cass who had left town after the tragic prom night accident and has stayed out of touch with her friends in Lake Miniagua ever since. I was therefore delighted to discover that Nice to Come Home To is Cass’ story.

What a tough life Cass has had, too. My heart broke for her more than once as layers of her story were revealed. And yet on the other hand she has taken life’s blows and survived, coming out s

I really enjoyed this sweet story. There are other stories related to this one, all set in this quaint community. However, the author did a really good job of making this book readable as a stand alone. I had not read the other stories and had no trouble diving into this one.

I liked Cass and Luke immediately and I loved watching as their attraction and connection to each other grew. It was interesting to see how good these two were together, even when they were both resistant to commitment. Ther

The final survivor of the high school car wreck has returned to Lake Minagua. With her little sister in town, Cass Gentry makes the trek back to the only place she’s been truly happy. AS half owner of an apple orchard, she’s not sure how long she’ll stay, if the people who she once called friends will welcome her back, but she knows this is a journey she has to make.
There’s something about Luke Rossiter, her partner in the orchard. The man is easy to talk to and there’s an attraction there, but

Nice to Come Home To by Liz Flaherty is a wonderful read. It touched many emotions in me. I could feel Cass's grief coming from the pages. I could feel Royce's abandonment from her parents. This book touches so many emotions and heartfelt situations. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Royce, Cass, Zoey, Lucas, and Seth. These characters are all absolutely wonderful and each have their own story to tell. ...more

An emotional rollercoaster that will leave you smiling! This story was quick to draw my attention with it's in depth details of what each character is feeling as the setting is laid out. We get not only the potential romance of Cass and Luke, but also several feel good moments between the older characters and with the teens. It's a complex story with many pieces pulling at our hearts, but it comes together well. Memorable, sweet and very enjoyable. Loved it!

I really enjoyed this book. It's a make you feel good book. The story was great and had me eagerly gobbling up this book. It had it's funny carefree moments, but also serious hit you right in the heart moments. Though Cass's family is quite dysfunctional you can feel the love between the family, well from most everyone. Moving back to the lake is going the best decision Cass ever makes. It gives her a new beginning and helps her heal the old wounds that never really had closure. All the characte ...more
