Anybody wanting to try something new with kids in the kitchen (and this book works for individual as well as small-large groups of kids)….like food sculptures, simple machines snack mix, Apple Art, Soda and Mentos Geysers, Dinosaur Eggs, Fruit Circuits, Ice Castles, Straw Quills, DIY bubbles, mancala bean game, lemon juice invisible ink, Slime/Oobleck, moving rainbow, coffee paint, and Dancing rice are just some of the 70 S.T.E.A.M. activities and recipes for kids...
Some of my favorites were chocolate rocks (made 3 ways and you have to read to find out why), Drinkable Lava Lamp and Edible Water Bubbles.
The book not only gives these recipes and activities (including instruction, difficulty level, time allotted, supply list, and the S.T.E.A.M. behind it and how to teach it), but it also talks about careers in the food industry, safety, recycling, why they included A in S.T.E.A.M., Food Q&A, Scientific Method, future project ideas, and more.
The other great thing was that none but one of the recipes/activities requires an oven.,

The only downside for me on some of the experiments was that there were some specialty items that the book doesn't tell you where to get it at all (I presume the internet), but it doesn't offer any suggestions and I just thought that was a bit off.

I would try and do them all! This is Volume 3...wow!
