This is the heartbreaking story of Belinda's fight to overcome anorexia nervosa. She fought a horrible battle for years before she finally found herself with God's help. This is a book everybody should read. Thank you BooksGoSocial via NetGalley for free copy of this book. This is my honest opinion. I highly recommend this book.

As a Bookcrash! book reviewer, every so often I have the opportunity to share with you a good book that may or may not be on your radar. This time around the book I reviewed is titled, "Little Girl Crying" by Belinda Rose.

This author is unique in that not only has she written and published a book that received a "Reader's Favorite Five Stars" award, but she also has an art gallery AND has a CD to go along with her book. Whew, what talents!

The reason I chose her book is because of the subject

The writing is superb. The story raw and genuine. Little Girl Crying Brought Healing in the Little Heaven of My Soul! I have been searching for the words to put down about my experience reading Belinda Rose's Little Girl Crying. I think that is more about my experience than my words. No fancy adjectives or descriptive phrases, just feeling the experience of reading and sharing a journey with a fellow sister of brokenness. Page after page, through the pain, the prayers, the images...I was drawn ...more

A compelling, truly inspiring, and well written memoir of the power of faith and perseverance in prayer. Belinda's story is a no holds barred raw and often heartbreaking account of her difficult life. Some readers may find the pain and trauma she has experienced hard to read, but just keep reading! It is through her devotion to God throughout her suffering that she is led on a deep journey of prayer and eventually to an extraordinary spiritual encounter that you can only say was a healing ...more

Fabulous work! This book takes the reader through so many emotions. Belinda has done a very courageous thing by telling her heartfelt story and sharing the very ugly side of eating disorders but then also you can feel the love shining through the healing process. I couldnt put this down! There are very few writers I feel that can truly get their readers to FEEL the emotions in the story they are telling. I truly felt i could feel your anger, despair, hurt and also the LOVE. Thank you for sharing ...more

I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
Thanks NetGalley!

This book was difficult to read at times. This book is about Belinda's struggle with an eating disorder, anorexia. If you've battled an eating disorder, this may be a trigger for you.

Having known people with eating disorders, when I saw the opportunity arise to review this book I knew I wanted to read it. It addresses some really tough issues in a way that both brings them to life and challenged the way I thought about certain things. Everyone desires to be loved, heard and understood. I know I definitely feel that way. The story reflects how we can find miracles all around us if we just take the time to look. Everyone can benefit from reading this book and then sharing it ...more
