I was first introduced to this author when I read the Cousins trilogy about Roman and Elizabeth (which I loved!); those characters (along with a few more) find their HEAs in this 4-book bundle!

The first book (Claimed By A King -- 4 1/2 stars) focuses on Jade, the assistant to Roman and the King Brothers, and Camden King. If you have read the Cousins trilogy (not required to enjoy these stories), you know that something was definitely going on between these two as there was a lot of tension and awkwardness, especially in the final book. We discover why those two were dancing around each other right off the bat in this book - it starts off nice and STEAMY! Cam decided that Jade was his, and he was going to have her no matter what. Ever since she got out of an abusive relationship (thanks to Roman and Cam's help), Jade has been all about the one-night stands and not getting too close to anyone. What I loved most about her character was that she was not a victim --- even when she suffered the abuse, she fought back vs. cowering and/or feeling sorry for herself. But what will happen when she is pushed to commit by one of the biggest bad boys in town, and how does the guy that suddenly starts watching her from his car fit into things? The only thing I didn't like about this book was that Camden "shared" with his younger brother. Apparently this is something they have done often in the past, but for them to share someone they know very well (not to mention that they're her bosses!), and for it to be someone Cam is supposedly in love with and wants a future, it didn't really make much sense, though, admittedly, it was hot.

The second book (Indebted To A King --- 5/5 stars) is about Cutter (Camden's younger brother) and Sloan (aka Glamazon --- a nickname given by the King brothers to Elizabeth's best friend because of her model looks). Sloan is the daughter of a former and infamous basketball player, and she is often approached because of that --- which is an instant turnoff for her. Cutter is an arrogant, hardcore player -- he is used to having whoever he wants whenever he wants. Enter Sloan... and suddenly he discovers that he isn't all that after all.

The third book (Broken by a King --- 4.5/5) is about Stone (a man in a lot of trouble with the wrong kinds of people) and Ariana (aka "Tiny") who is his ticket out of the aforementioned trouble. At first, it seems like this story is out of place because we don't know much about either one of them or why/where they fit into all of this, but all is revealed as the plot unfolds and Stone has to decide between getting out of the jam he got himself into or the woman he is falling for.

The final book (Promised to a King --- 4 1/2 stars) is a novella featuring the wedding of one of the King brothers (I will leave it at that to avoid spoilers).

All in all, these were a great read, and I highly recommend them if you like a good story line with some hot alpha males mixed in with some steamy goodness in your novels!

This is a great book set to listen to. I loved hearing all the King brothers get their happy ever after a even though people see them as dangerous. These men are loyal to a fault and are able to find their perfect other halves and show them what love really is. A wonderful group of stories for any romance lover.

I could not wait for this boxed set on audio, and it was worth the wait! The King Brothers are a great listen, each with their own story to tell.

Indebted to a King:
I am so excited that I had the chance to listen to this book. It is my first Lisa Lang-Blakeney book and I loved it! This story is book two of the King Brothers, but is easily listened to as a standalone. I loved the way this book started, with Cutter bumping into Sloan as teenagers, but neither knowing it when they met later. The chemistry is evident, and their slow burn relationship is so sensual and hot, it kept me listening! Cutter is the perfect alpha male, extremely confident, good looking and extremely protective. Sloan is hesitant of men like this and does her best to ignore her attraction, until she can't. I love how Cutter infiltrates himself into Sloan's life, whether she likes it or not. Each time made Cutter more endearing to me and it is so easy to fall in love with him! I also loved the interaction with Cutter's brother, it was a typical sibling rivalry, but you could feel the real love these two have for each other and how they always have each other's back.

After listening to Indebted to a King, I couldn't wait to hear Camden's story and it did not disappoint. Camden is a man who knows what he wants and will do what he needs to get it. Jade works for the King brothers, and has caught the eye and heart of Cam. Being the employee though, Jade does not think sleeping with her boss is a good idea. With her past of an abusive boyfriend and father, she is not quick to let people in, and a relationship with Camden is just not in the cards. But is that true? When danger is lurking though, Camden will do anything to protect what is his, and Jade is his. I love the alpha protective male and Lisa Lang-Blakeney knows how to write them. The King twins are full of that safeguarding feel, always taking care and doing anything necessary. This couple, though at times frustrating with their combativeness has a playful side as well. The constant nurturing nicknames is fun and flirty and gives some tense situations that tension breaker. Seeing Roman and Cutter again also makes the story feel comfortable and gives continuity. Though part of the series, it definitely can be listened to as a stand alone novel and will make your ears happy.

Broken by a King:
Stone is released from jail, only to find himself in somewhat of another. A person from his father's past is blackmailing him. He goes to stay with Ariana and her father, the man he needs to get the money from to pay the blackmailer. He does have the option of making Ariana fall in love with him, but what he doesn't know is the impact this woman would have one him. This is a passionate romance, and the outcome is looking grim! What will Stone do? Can he get the money? Break Ariana's heart? There is a few twists and turns in this plot that make the story a little suspenseful, and will keep you listening to see where these two will end up. Another great segment in the Kings Brothers.

Promised to a King:
Novellas are always fun, and I always want to know what happens to the characters after their book. This short gives us just that. Weddings, babies, brotherhood, you can't go wrong. Stone, Cutter and Camden each have their own way to get to their happily ever after and it's the perfect ending to this series.

Aaron Shedlock with a Phillie accent, what more can you ask for? He is the perfect Cutter, Camden and Stone with just enough edge to their voices, plus the warm tones to make them charming. He has that sexy sound for their women and will turn and give the low gutteral growl of dominance to their enemies. Tracy Marks always picks the voice I would expect to hear from the heroine. Sloan has sassiness and lots of spunk, but you can feel her vulnerable side right through it, Jade that stubborn quality, with the hint of need and lack of self confidence and Ariana with that innocence. This team of narrators can perform any couple flawlessly. This boxset comes to life with ease. Together this team is unbeatable.

The King Brothers Boxed Set is a hot collection featuring the three dominant, alpha King brothers and the women they love.

Claimed by a King: 3.5 stars. Jade works for three alpha males - Camden and Cutter King and their business partner, Camden's best friend, Roman Masterson. She's in a lot of ways like their sister, except for her pesky attraction to Camden. When she has a hot one night stand with Camden, Camden decides he wants more from Jade, he wants all of her. Jade, being the damaged woman she is, though, isn't having any of that, especially with her bossy af boss.

I liked Claimed by a King, but I didn't completely connect with either Jade or Camden. Jade was a little too prickly for my tastes and Camden was much too bossy. He took alpha to a whole new level. Still, their chemistry was really strong, and the story was well-written and entertaining.

Indebted to a King: 4 stars. Cutter King has been interested in Sloan Pearson since he first ran into her at a playoffs game 12 years ago. She's the daughter of an sports legend and so beautiful that Camden has never been able to forget the woman he has nicknamed "Glamazon."

When he finally decides to make his move on Sloan, he does every possible thing he can to insinuate himself into her life. It takes awhile, but he finally wins her over and they are explosive once she finally gives in.

I liked Cutter and Sloan a lot more than I liked Camden and Jade. Their relationship was seamless and really steamy. Cutter is the kind of alpha I love - dominant without being a jerk, a relentless go-getter without being creepy, and with a big heart. And Sloan was a pistol! Funny and sassy and sweet.

Broken by a King: 4 stars. Stone's sins have finally come home bite him in the ass. When the man from whom he stole $7 million in heroin tells him he either gets that money for him, by a very specific way, or he dies, Stone knows he has to do it. He doesn't expect to fall in love with his mark, Ariana, (Tiny), nor does he really want to break her as he's been instructed, but it's either that or he dies. What will Stone do? And will Ariana really fall for the bad boy?

Broken by a King seems to have a tenuous connection to the rest of the King world, and it wasn't until the end when it's revealed who Stone is to them, but it's still a great story, full of steamy passion and suspense and intrigue. I'm hoping there's more to come for Stone and Tiny and the rest of the Kings, because this series has only gotten better with each release.

Promised To A King: 4 stars. All the guys and the women are dealing with issues that have come up. Jade and Camden are dealing with Jade's health. Is she just sick or is she possibly pregnant? Cutter and Sloan are dealing with Sloan's indecision about their wedding date, AND the fact that her father has just been named a suspect in a college girl's murder. Stone and Tiny are dealing with Stone's need to ingratiate himself with his newly found brothers and their business. And Roman and Elizabeth are along for the ride while she's a million month's pregnant.

This is a sweet, sexy way to wrap up the King Brothers series.

I’m not quite sure what I was expecting, but it really wasn’t this. On the negative side of the coin, I definitely wasn’t expecting the descriptions of domestic abuse or the slut-shaming. But on the upside, I also wasn’t expecting the dominant, BDSM flair to Cam and Jade’s encounters that scorched the screen of my tablet. The push-me/pull-you dynamic between the pair pushed all my buttons and drove me to distraction. As did Jade’s, admitted, double-standard about honesty in a relationship. However, I loved watching every moment of Cam caring for her.

I had so much fun reading this. I’m pretty sure I’m going to have an eyestrain headache tomorrow, though. I rolled my eyes so hard and so often: every time Cutter referred to himself as “the/her/your king”. I have similar reactions to the relationship in this as with the previous book. I loved how protective and caring Cutter is, even though he goes way too far overboard nearly every time. And it drove me to absolute distraction how hard Sloan works to avoid dealing with everything that’s happening between them.

I loved all the deep, dark romantic suspense elements in this book. I loved Stone’s protective alpha personality. I even loved that Ariana’s a feisty little spitfire who stands up for herself. But I was left slightly unsatisfied with the ending. It felt like the book just stopped and I needed more story from it still. Sure, Stone and Ariana had figured out what they were doing and how to move forward. I just wanted answers to some more questions: what happened to the ultimatum and the money? What happened with Bucky and Nate? What happened with the relationship between the King brothers? I would have loved having another couple of chapters to tell me what happened next.
Promised To A King
Well, that nicely answered some of the questions I was left with at the end of Stone’s book, which is what I was hoping would happen. I especially liked getting the chance to check back in with all three King couples and witness one of them getting to “till death do us part”, as well as seeing another engaged. If this is where the series truly ends, it’s a good place to leave it. Personally, I’m hoping there’s more Kings to come.

Wow, this boxset is amazing, having all three of these stories and the novella was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed Promised to a King. This was a great way to bring everything to a close, bringing all the King men together for a special occasion and to realize that Stone is here to stay. Definitely panty melting hot, sexy, sassy and fun rolled into one amazing ending to a great series. This is a must-read boxset you will not be disappointed!

Wow, Hot, Hot, Hot!! This is the first book for me by Lisa and I absolutely loved it and now I need to read her other series. Camden and Jade, off the charts smoldering hot! Camden never saw Jade for anything more than a little sister until one day he opened his eyes and realized she’s all grown up. The two of them have so much baggage and fears of relationships can they find a way to make it work? Then bring in Cutler and you have a whole mix of something GOOD!! Holy hell, I couldn’t put this book down until I was done. No spoilers here, but if you like your man, protective, brooding hot as hell, then you need to get this book fast!!!! Highly recommend and can’t wait to see whose up next. Thank you Lisa for an amazing read!!

I’ve been waiting patiently for Stone’s book, I was so excited to see how his story was going to blossom and it was so worth the wait and I couldn’t put this down, Lisa had me flipping the pages until I was finished. Michael (Stone) is a broken soul who falls hard for Ariana and is starting to feel something for her and wants to be more than a shell of a man. This story is smoldering hot, steamy and the chemistry is off the charts! Highly recommend this book, this is a must read!

The King Brothers Complete Collection is an awesome set, each brother has their own book, they are all well written and have interesting storylines. The 1st book, “Claimed By a King” is Camden and Jades story, it also includes Cutter, Camden’s brother but the focus is on the couple. I loved the chemistry between the Cam and Jade, also loved the dynamics of the brothers and how they took care of their own, which included Jade. The 2nd book, “Indebted To A King” is Cutter and Sloan’s story. I enjoyed this book even more than the 1st, Cutter is as Alpha as his brother but I felt he wore more of his heart on his sleeve than Camden. I loved his pursuit of Sloan, they make a great couple. Cutter learns he has another brother out there which brings us to the 3rd book, “Broken By A King” which is Stone and Ariana’s book. And yes, Stone is a King and an alpha as well, it must be in their the blood. Stone’s story is a little different because he has yet to find out he is a King and he has different challenges being on his own. But his story is just as interesting and action packed as the 1st two. The 4th book, “Promised To A King” is an added bonus, Stone is now where he belongs with his brothers and in this novella we get a recap of where the couples are now. I loved this series, the characters and storylines Lisa Lang Blakeney created! I understand each of the bothers books can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone but I highly recommend reading all three. The 4th is the cherry on top!

I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock. They are awesome voice performers and storytellers. They brought the characters to life, gave each their own unique sound, also gave them heart and attitude. Thanks for another great & entertaining listen.

When I started Cam and Jade's story, I sincerely thought that this was going to be another cliche book that I'd enjoy, but not fall in love with. I'm happy to say that I was wrong. The characters drew me in and while some aspect of their personality or situations were exaggerated and perhaps a little cliche, the overall story felt refreshingly original and spunky. Jade is a spitfire and it's nice to see her hold her own against Cam for a while, until she realizes he's exactly what she wants and needs. Jade might be rough around the edges but she's loyal, strong and caring in her own sassy way.
However, I think that Sloan and Cutter's story was my absolute favourite, as it not only focuses on their interactions, but you get to delve into who they are as separate entities before seeing how explosive and perfect they are as a couple. She's fierce and fiery and independent to boot, but the most interesting part was seeing the growth in her, from a cynical woman to partner who realizes that love is possible.
The back and forth between Tiny and Stone is just..gah! And the fact that he stole her books is just priceless.
The final part of the boxed set, the King wedding and peek into the future made me smile. It's not the happily ever after Disney version, but rather a peek at the ups and downs of life, with moments of doubt and bliss intertwined.
All in all, I can't get enough of these three men and their sassy independent women.

Cutter and Sloan’s story is good with a nice flow. An intense attraction, but neither believes in love. Both strong individuals who dance around each other forever before finally getting together, no strings attached. Until love is acknowledged...

Arianna is a sassy mid 20’s virgin, and nurse who lives at home with her dad. Stone is an alpha convict just released from prison, living with Arianna and her dad while on probation. Stone is a King, but was adopted and doesn’t know it until really late in the story. In this story, he has an agenda, but feelings happen and plans change. Misinformation, some danger, and an unexpected love - well written with a good pace and a nice edge.

This epilogue is a really nice wrap up to the series!

This is an amazing box set with fabulous books. What I love about all these books are King Brothers Novels have alpha males with sassy heroines. These books are intertwined and have rip roaring action , angst, tension and steamy passion thru all. I really found all the books to be brilliant. I did review the last book in the boxset- Promised To A King : This is a novella to end all novellas. This features A King Family Wedding. Will everything go off with a hitch or will there be more drama that will stop the wedding? And which brother ends up at the alter? Only way to find out which brother gets to the alter and to find out if everything is smooth sailing is to read all the books plus the novella. This is one awesome boxset that has everything you are looking for- passion, angst, drama, tension, action and true love. I enjoyed every moment and look forward to reading more from this author.

I feel that I have been living under a rock and missed this series. These bad boy brother's know how to bring their women and as readers to our knees...Bow to the Kings!!!

These books have everything you could possibly want or dream of but Lisa will find something you missed and send you right over the edge. These books are vividly told and transport you into their stories and lives. The sex scenes are intense and may cause panties to melt.

I can't believe I've never heard of these bad as* alpha hotties before. This box set is a steal of a deal and puts all the action, sex and humor all in one set for you plus the bonus story...loved it!!!

Hot, sexy alphas with marshmallow hearts!

Camden's romance - possession, really - of Jade was so much fun to read! He was exactly the perfect blend of patiently sweet and dominantly demanding. Their chemistry was off-the-charts hot and I loved how safe she felt with him, even when she trying so hard not to fall for him. I loved this story the most.

Cutter was so freaking HOT! in the first story! I was so happy to see him get his own HEA. He and Sloan have such an amazing romance! They're absolutely perfect together.

And Stone! What a surprise! Another super hot romance with the last uber-sexy King brother. The bonus story wrapped everything up beautifully. The first three are all standalone (but interconnected) romances, each one a winner, and having all three plus the bonus in one box set is a dream come true. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is a excellent & amazing box set which has three intriguing books & a novella in it.
What you will find in this book is: drama, intrigue, suspense, adventure, action, feisty women, hot domineering alpha men, family issues, attractions, sexual tension, defiance, verbal conflict, profanity heartbreak, doubts, choices/deals, promises, sibling banter, jealousy, memories, obsession, physical conflict, mistakes, misunderstandings, compromise, forgiveness, romance, lust, passion, love and steamy scenes.
The story-line is impressive and well-written, the plot is intriguing and keeps the reader’s attention. The characters are well developed and react with varying emotions according to the situations they find themselves in. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this box set and would recommend it.

A great series with wonderful characters who live and survive for the people they love. Each book in the series is a unique blend of humor, love and loyalty. These are alpha men who will do whatever is necessary to protect and cherish the women they love. The storylines don't interweave which is a shame as interactions between all of the players would have been very welcome. However, there is enough verbiage between players from book to book that will still tie everything together. The book is about the King brothers, as it should be. I came to love the women just as much and look forward to a time of revisiting them in a new book/series should the author deem it possible. Itty bitty, Princess and Tiny complete these men so it is with great hope that we will see them again.

This was my first experience with this author and I was not disappointed! First the stories take place in my home town of Philadelphia so I was drawn in by the authors use of familiar places. Then the fact that her alphas are so...alpha had me hooked. Add to this the women these alphas attach themselves to and the good character development of family and friends and you have an amazingly entertaining read.

I am still interested in Stone’s back story. I don’t think it was explained clearly enough. This is my only issue, if you would even call it that.

I was sad to see this series end, but am looking forward to my next read by Ms Blakeney.

This was my first Lisa Lang Blakeney's book, and won't be the last. This Series is a spin-off of the Cousins series, but I haven't read this Series yet. I loved the King Brothers, Camden, Cutter, and Stone! They are strong, alpha, bad boy, and sexy. I loved how they all fall for an equally strong woman. I love the undeniable and strong chemistry between Camden/Jade, Cutter/Sloan, and Stone/Ariana! The brotherhood in these stories is everything, and amazing. Impossible not to fall in love with these bad boy brothers. The last book is a great bonus to the Series. Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock did an amazing, credible, and an outstanding job with the narration. This is a great team, author/narrators. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook and totally recommend it.

This series is full of three hot as hell bad boy brothers, the King brothers will leave you hot and heavy. First you have Camden and Jade in Claimed by the King and true to its title, Camden claims Jade! Next is Indebted to a King, Cutter and Sloans story, my favourite because the back story to how they started was sweet. And third came Broken by a King, Stone and Ariana's (Tiny) story, and the big bad oldest brother won't disappoint. And the bonus story is the secret sauce to this series, you get to see how all three King brothers and the girls are doing. If you like to get down and dirty than this series is a must have

If you are looking for intense alpha male characters and intense sex scenes then look no further. This box set will set your Kindle on fire. I do like the female characters. They all seem smart - none of that TSTL decisions. I find it funny that they are all fighting themselves not to fall in love. Their nicknames add humor to the story. Camden and Jade’s story has a serious background story on domestic abuse. Cutter and Sloan’s romance, despite tie-up sex, is the cutest. Stone and Ariana’s story has a bit of twist. All in all, with the bonus novella, it is worth downloading. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

This set is a marathon of reading. It is not for the weak and it may take you a week or more to finish. The first three books are separate stories about the brothers and the last is like a epilogue. I wish the first book would have been about Roman and Elizabeth as these are major characters and their story was not included. I also really disliked Jade and her story. Her story had too many tangents and supplemental characters. Had Romans story been included and /or Jade been killed this would have been a 5 star series for sure

Absolutely Love This Series.

I honestly can't complain about anything in these books. I read the whole king series and the masterson series and fell in love with all the characters. I love a romance with a strong alpha who is truly will do any thing for his lady and a strong smart woman who makes him with for it. The characters grab your attention from the beginning and I honestly was a little shocked at the end when I realized this is written by a fairly new romance author! You rocked these two series and I can't wait to get my hands on any others that you write or have written. I will be reading these again! 😊

Jeez within the first chapter you knew it was going to be good read. Camden and Jade had some wicked chemistry. Camden had such a dirty mouth!! So freaking hot!

Cutter is so freaking arrogant you just want to slap him bahahaha. I loved Cutter and Sloan, they worked well together.
Broken by the King
I really liked Stone and Tiny. I loved Tiny’s attitude she was kickass. They had wicked chemistry.
Promised to a King
I absolutely freaking loved this book. It was good to read more on each of the characters.
