There's good information in here, but the book itself needs help. A lot of the maps are extremely low-resolution WikiCommons images, which shouldn't be a problem in and of itself. But many of them are unreadable or missing key information. The text itself has quite a few readability issues as well, either from poor spacing or poor wording. It presents the information needed, but it could be presented much better.

Very impressive for an open textbook. I would have preferred a more cross-regional approach, rather than separate chapters for separate regions.

it would be better if a glossary of key terms and definitions are added if they publish another version of the textbook

Though this was mandatory reading for my world history class I enjoyed reading it.
