I've taken lots of my brother's books. This was the 2nd I've read, and it will be interesting to see how long it takes me to get through them!

The novel was well written and the story of the congressman's daughter over a period of 20 years. The narrator was the next door neighbor (whom all the other character's confided in).

Relationship between father and daughter.

I remember thinking what great insight of a woman's point of view from a male author.

I wonder if this is the author I read. There appears another novel with the same title by a female author.

Should like to reread.
