A fun, well-illustrated story told in a repetitive verse fashion which helps show that sometimes you have to wait for good things. And, there still might be a sweet reward at the end! A good book for children to learn about foods from a different region or as a reminder of what is around them.

Such a cute book about island fruits - especially enjoyed the end showing all the fruits in their ripe stages. :)
