I've been waiting to read The Way You Love Me by Miranda Liasson. I loved her first book in the Angel Falls series where Gabby was introduced and I wanted Gabby to find her soulmate too.

Gaby Langdon just recently made partner at her law firm. She works hard and long hours. Before deciding to be a lawyer, she took many classes to see what inspired her. In the end, she decided to go for a job that she knew would pay the bills and her father would approve. Yet, she has always had the desire to wri

Sweet and lovely, a small town romance from one of my favorite writers.
ARC review to follow.

First chapter of her next upcoming release "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was included at the end.
This is Rafe and Kaitlyn's story and it looks really promising. Can't wait to read the full story.

It's nice being back in Angel Falls. And, I really enjoyed reading about a writer with writers block and an aspiring author. A couple who truly complimented each other both in the classroom and out.

Gabby has always done what people expected of her but never truly followed her heart. She was adrift for so long and is bored with her chosen profession. So, after photography, painting and other classes, it's time for what she feels is a class in her hearts desire – writing … if she could make her fi
I hadn’t read anything from this author, but the reviews on NG were so high, so I took a chance.

Gabby and Cade were just okay. I liked that she wanted to learn different things and that’s probably the best thing I can say. Their relationship lacked chemistry and passion and there was a lot of telling, not showing. Cade’s daughter was the easily brightest spot in the story.

Plot wise, it was just meh. There wasn’t any real show of time movement, so it seemed like they had been hanging out for a

This is such a wonderful feel good story about family, friends and the pursuit of happiness. The Way You Love Me is the first book by Miranda Liasson that I've read and I'm already clamoring for the next book in this series and planning on reading book 1 ASAP. I fell in love with this little community and the entire Langdon family. Liasson's writing left me feeling all the warm fuzzies.

Focused on the youngest daughter Gabby, this is as much about finding oneself as finding love. Early on I had

I am really loving this series! It has all the things needed for sweet, small-town romances.

I am a fan of a small town community where the stories intertwine and connect with characters and atmosphere. Miranda is making a beautiful tapestry of people to follow and get lost with.

In book two in the series, we get the treat of following Gabby and the single father Caden. It's an adult “teacher-student” troupe the will make you smile and swoon. Their back and forth is often funny and wholly engaging

I love stories about writers and this fit the bill. You have a woman who has lived her life basically for others. After trying all sorts of paths to the Right Passion... she finds Writing. Now she is truly committed. She decided to take a class t

I think you'll also fall in love with these two characters. Both have their issues, but it's how they deal with them that you've got to respect. Gabby comes off as a flighty woman who can't settle. She jumps for the this to that. You wonder if she'll be

This is the first book I've read by this author and it is highly professional and enjoyable. A career lawyer in a small town wants a creative outlet, so she take classes in creative writing. I did think the option of independent publishing should have been mentioned, but it was not, because of course this book was published the dinosaur way.

Cade and Gabby’s story was a pretty sweet read! Cade...He was a little broody, smart, and protective, but when his little girl Ava was around? Oy, he could turn a girl into a puddle of goo with his parenting skills! And Gabby was a nice contrast to the his broodiness with her sunshine and rainbows outlook, even when she was being serious.

I enjoyed Gabby and Cade’s push/pull relationship. They both had some growing to do independently before moving f

I liked the premise of this story. The whole villainized best-selling author turned professor and the aspiring writer, student & lawyer.

I adored how protective and attentive Cade was with his daughter Ava. Him watching YouTube videos to learn how to braid her hair was one of my favorite things. I don't always love children in books because they tend to either overshadow the rest of the story or fade off into the background but the author did an excellent job of including Ava just the right a

This is a fantastic small town romance that I absolutely adored. Gabby and Caden are great characters and they fit perfectly together. Gabby is a people pleaser, always following the path others have laid out for her. She does have a secret passion and that's writing. She would love to lose the day job and write full time but the best she can do is a creative writing class at the local college. That's where she meets Caden Marshall. He's a well known published author with a severe case of writer ...more

This one wasn't too bad, but I felt it jumped too fast into an HEA when the characters had barely had time to discover one another. Plus we never get a resolution on what our lawyer heroine would do about her career as she wasn't happy being a lawyer. We have a hero who is a single dad, stalled in his writing because his ex did a number on him. We have a high achieving heroine who thinks she should settle down but is unhappy where her life is leading her. Loads of push & pull as he

Cheers to all the dreamers, who aren't afraid to dream. This story goes out to you. The Way You Love Me is a reminder that It's okay to follow your heart. Even when the odds are stacked against you. Gabby and Caden have spent a great deal of their lives living for others. When fate brings them face to face, will their level heads steer them toward a broken heart? Liasson continues to lead with her heart and turn reading into an emotionally fulfilling experience.

The Way You Love Me took me on a roller coaster with high highs and low lows. I had a love/hate relationship with this book. One minute I loved it and the next I wanted to quit. It was consistently like this for me. I’m glad I finished it. I loved seeing the hero as a single parent. His daughter was a scene stealer.
I cannot freaking wait for the next book. It is set up so nicely in this book. Some books you read and don’t love, but they set things up for books to come that you can’t d

This was a new to me author and I'm glad I took a chance!

I could relate to Gabby in so many ways. She is a woman who will do anything to make others happy even if it doesn't make her. She is someone who is searching for her "passion" but in the meantime doing what is expected of her. I admire all the classes she has taken to try and find that one thing that makes her tick. I'm glad she finally did and she isn't letting any negative comments stop her from trying to succeed.
