Victory is written in the blood of the brave.

As the armies of the Tibran Empire continue to march across Maldobar, a path of scorched destruction and despair is left in their wake. Even with the formidable princess, Jenna Farrow, leading the charge, the strength of the dragonriders is waning. Tibran victory appears inevitable — especially after Princess Jenna and Prince Au

Harbinger is the second book in the Dragonrider legacy series. The first book, Savage is Reigh story. In Harbinger, his story continues but we also get Princess Jenna's story.

War is on the horizon. The Tibrans are coming and it will take a miracle to stop them. In round one, the battle was won, but there were a lot of causalities on both sides. Reigh is afraid of his gifts. He is struggling with his demons, but the mystery is about to unfold. We have our suspicions about who he really is, but co

The Value of a Star: Ratings Explained

Now here's a series your fantasy loving middle graders will love!

The Dragonrider books by Nicole Conway are marketed as two separate series.

The first four books are The Dragonrider Chronicles. They introduce the main characters and deliver the first story arc. The Dragonrider Legacy includes the final three books. This series continues the story of the main characters after a 40 year time jump, introduces new characters,

Nicole Conway continues to amaze readers with her epic dragon-rider world. Her vivid imagination knows no bounds when it comes to laying out exciting, but age appropriate story lines. Her characters are easy to fall in love with making you feel every emotion as they travel through their journeys. I turned the last page of this book ready for more. Looking forward to the next book.

Harbinger continues Conway's Dragonrider Legacy series, splitting time between Jenna, and Reigh, as things really begin to heat up in the war against the Tibrans. Some time is spent with Reigh and Jaevid, setting up Reigh's next parts, but the bulk follows Jenna. She and Phillip are captured, and Argonox has a proposal for Jenna. Rule as his queen, and he will make her divine. In a bid to draw brother and sister apart, Argonox shares a secret with Jenna, guaranteed to shatter the dragonrider's w ...more

The second book in this trilogy threw me for a few minutes at the beginning, because I was confused having forgotten who Jenna is, and the book being written in parts from Jenna and Riegh’s different point of views. I did really love getting to hear Jenna’s voice however, and see things from her perspective. Her and Phillips love, and story had me tearing up several times, and I never stopped worrying about one or the others safety.
There are a lot of dark elements, and moments in this book as t

In this second book of the series we get to meet the first female dragonrider who is not only a dragonrider called by her dragon but he also a outcasted princess.  She been banished by her farther but Jenna is perfectly fine with this.  She got some serious guts their are some intense parts of this story where i was sure she was going to end up dead.

Jaevid Broadfeather comes back to life, will he be the legend that everyone been waiting for, and is Reigh the perfect opposite in every way that wi

This book is the second of a series, but it definitely wasn’t a problem for me catching up to what had previously happened as Conway fills spaces in extremely well. This book picks up where I assume the first ended. From beginning to end, this book never stops in action. There is always something happening. I, personally, loved this. I was engaged the entire time. There was so much happening, but at the same ti

Loved this story.

Ms. Conway does it again. Great story. Well written. Great character development. Battle scenes keep you on the edge of your seat. Caution. Causes sleep deprivation because you can't put the book down. Sorry I finished so quickly because now I have that much longer to wait for the next book.

Good story

I was wanting more of reigh and his dragon.

If that cousin or sister of his can have a human wolf creature as a mate why can't reigh have a female dragon as a mate?

It just not right that this cannot happen.

The ending it hurt. I need the next book. I want to know what happened.

Not quite up to par

I was looking forward to this book the most, perhaps that's why I am disappointed. Things seem very disjointed. All this jumping from one protagonist to the other is irritating..and I don't find Jenna very interesting. And just how long do I have to wait for the conclusion?

Book 2

Book 2 had errors throughout and was a little better than the first. I wasn't sure if book too would follow the main characters annoying moaning and groaning about everything, but it was better put together than the first. He still complains about almost everything but it is less frequent and is done farther into the book.

Boo for cliffhanger

Boo for cliffhanger. This totally bummed me out and the book felt too short. I'm going to start on the next one right away.

This one was a lot harder for me to get into.
Was really looking for some character development. But each character plays the roll given and you just roll along with the story.

Good Book, it is not exactly the book that stands alone. It is a precursor to the third book which is awesome.

What an excellent follow up to Savage! Leaves you on the edge of your seat and guessing at every turn. It does slow down a bit towards the end but the finale is so worth it!
