I have read both Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys and quite like them both, though I am partial to the former. But I really enjoy it most when the two come together. I have only read one such book before, and that was a bunch of short stories. This one is a full length story, part of a series.

In Club Dread, Nancy and her friends, Bess & George, are invited by her father's client to stay at an environmentally friendly resort for a week. Meanwhile, Frank and Joe are already there trying to solve a

No matter what, I will ALWAYS love Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys! Together solving mysteries or apart, these guys forever rock! It's a simple read - I admit, but that's why I love them so much! No matter the plot or how you know what's going to happen in the end, but with a cool twists and turns and the switching of POVs, these guys are totally my childhood heroes!

One chapter is Nancy Drew's part of the Mystery then it goes on to a separate chapter for both the Hardy boys. I love how they put together two amazing Detective series into one. This is an amazing book.

Best pairing ever! They work better as a team in my opinion. Wish they made more f these crossovers. Certainly keeps the entertainment level high.

WOW. WOW. WOW

This book was AMAZING. But i kind of thought who would be the culprit. So it wasn't so thrilling to me at the end.

But a lot of things did happen which left me in utter disbelief

There were a lot times Joe being Joe (and that is constantly flirting, especially with Bess)
I would've loved some more Frank and Nancy moments but it's definitely okay.
There were a few times when Frank would just blush (because he's too overwhelmed to say anything)
He even called Nancy "Nance" and Joe even

Yeah, you can solve the mystery within the first 20 pages or so, but that's not really what the books are about, are they? As usual, this was a fun installment in a series I'm now halfway through (seriously, why are the '90s Supermysteries so hard to get ahold of?), and they're properly paced (taking a half-hour or thereabouts to read all the way through).

This read like a Disney Channel series episode, which I enjoyed in a way. I also like how the protagonists now have distinct personalities. On the downside, the mystery had a poor pool of suspects, a blurry crime (that could have been fleshed out more), and a predictable resolution. This is felt more like a preteen action/adventure than a teen mystery.

Nancy Drew & The Hardy Boys (Club Dread) is a story about Frank and Joe who are sent to a tropical island resort to investigate a rash of thefts. They run into some of their friends Nancy Drew, Bess, and George who is also staying at the resort and they too also notice something is not quite right at the resort. The plot thickens and no one is above suspicion not even friends. Trust me you won’t be disappointed reading this book.

The theme of this book is mystery and would be a good read for

It was fun to re-visit a series I enjoyed as a kid. It was a quick read and had a lot of the elements I enjoyed from both the Nancy Drew series and the Hardy Boys series. I love it when they do series crossovers! Tweens who like mystery and adventure would enjoy this book.
