This book could be considered an introduction to textile art, as many of the projects are more art pieces than practical textiles. Projects in a variety of styles by several different artists plus photos of inspiration pieces. My biggest criticism is that there are two photos on the back cover, two on the opening pages, one on the contents page of a total of four projects not included in the book. Quite a lot of photocopying onto fabric, and some very nice projects, though a lot of fairly standard patchwork and applique. Most of the stuff isn't new, except some nice Jade Squares. I'm going to use the idea for a dress I'm making at the moment.
