It's not often I read a romance, much less a romance about an MMA fighter, in which the hero is someone who's likeable. He's a nice guy, concerned about the women in his life, while at the same time being badass. Our heroine is tough, too, but a little on the neurotic side. I like that her best friend is a decent person, not an immature, reckless fool who'd make a better enemy. The heroine has a propensity to jump to conclusions and run off half-cocked.
