Loved the beginning, HATED the middle bit, and then enjoyed the end! So - I would probably go 3.5 stars, but not quite 4 for this one for me.

We first met Gage in the first book of the Single Dad Support Group series, and knew that he is raising his boy, Bo, on his own, and definitely had a story to tell. In this story, we find out why he has hidden his son away from everyone he knows - his family, friends, and more importantly, the father of the baby. Although Gage and Aaron still talk, Gage is

3 Stars.

Cut, but, I stopped at 75% . I just got bored.

But, this was one of those kind of books you want to hug. It just so sweet!

Piper Scott always puts an unusual spin on everything she writes!

Three quarters of the way through The Proposal I'm enjoying the heck out of a wonderful 'second chance' romance. I've got this feeling like something's just gotta go wrong... a few too important lose ends still floating around out there. Well, bamm, we get every bit of our expected angst in one fell swoop, and it was was awesome.

This series is unique and a lot of fun, plus it's performed by Michael Ferraiuolo who does an amazing jo

Near the end of the book, I was just realized that this is a spin-off from the previous series (His Command). And Aaron and Gage are both sons of Marshall and Oli and Cedric and Gabriel. And that made my heart broken, to know that their sons, had to experience such heartbreaking life.
I wanted to mad at Gage for keeping secret for so long, I can't stand seeing Bo's suffering for so long. But he was a teenager when he made a decision to keep his son a secret, for Aaron's sake. Speaking of sacrific

4 stars!

Omg! I just realised these are the kids from the His Command series! I don’t know why I didn’t figure it out sooner. Now I think I need to go back and read that series all over again!

Anyways, I have to say since the first book in this series, I’ve always been fascinated and excited about Gage’s story. It seemed like it would be pretty epic and perhaps slightly angsty. While it’s slightly angsty and as Gage’s life is revealed, really freaking sad, it wasn’t quite as epic as I had hoped fo
I'm really conflicted about this one so maybe I'll just rattle off a list.

I liked:

Aaron and his devotion to his and Gage's relationship. I was pretty sure in the last book that Aaron wasn't going to be all Gage said he was.

Aaron and Gage together are all kinds of sweet and hot.

Knot talking smack to Aaron (Knot is the most intriguing member of the Group so far).

I didn't like:

We didn't get a lot of Aaron and Bo bonding time.

Bo has been very sick for a YEAR AND A HALF and Gage still won't tell Aar

‘The Proposal’ is the second book in Piper Scott’s series “Single Dad’s Support Group” and...

it’s Gage’s story. Gage was introduced to us in ‘The Problem’. He’s not only a member of the SDSG (Single Dad’s Support Group) he’s also Alex’s best friend.

I liked Gage and his little boy Bo when we met him in ‘The Proposal’ and that hasn’t changed. I got enough of his story in that first book to know that for whatever reason the man that Gage loved and who is Bo’s father wasn’t actively present in

So we met Gage in book one through the online forum Single Dads, he's raising his sick son, Bo, waiting for the love of his life to return.
Gage needs to raise money to pay for Bo's rising medical expenses, he knows one person he could ask, Aaron, but he can't as he would rush back and he promised Aaron he would stay strong. Instead he turns to caming which he keeps secret. He also has help from the Single Dad's and Alex, his cousin from book one, except KnotMyProblem who has been comi
I did so much skimming towards the end I don’t even know if I can count this as read. There was too much unnecessary drama that I saw coming, and it was boring to read. Sometimes drama is fun but this time is was just annoying. Miscommunication is my least favorite trope and that’s what happened in this book 🙄 Knot my problem annoyed me and I’m not really interested in reading about him if he has a book. Arron and Gage were cute but we didn’t even get experience their love it was just drama. Any ...more

Reading this book was like watching two trains almost collide on the track. You can see the inevitable the mile off but you can't look away, because you know it will be horrific and you want to watch every last second. And then, at the last second, an antelope wearing a horse mask jumps onto the switch board and changes the tracks so the trains swipe past each other and disaster is avoided. I use this strange analogy because the end result of this "train crash waiting to happen" was just as unbe ...more

This is one of the few books I DNF. I just couldn’t anymore. It’s about an omega named Gage and an aloha named Aaron. The are dating. Aaron is going to college over seas. They are making it work. For four years they both bust their butts. Aaron to finish his PhD so he could support them and a family. Gage to support himself and their kid. Ok. My problem is gage got pregnant and didn’t tell ANYONE not even Aaron because he didn’t want him to drop out of school. For FOUR years he kept the kid

I've been waiting for this book FOREVER! When I saw it on Amazon today I almost combusted in happiness. But during the reading and now, after finishing the book I feel empty. The story was full of holes, rushed in some scenes, too much sex without a point, unreal expectations, unreal scenes like everything I didn't want in a book rolled all together.

I didn't see much plot, the idea of Gage hiding a child for 4 years just so his boyfriend could finish school was something that even on the first

I did not enjoy this. Aaron presented himself as a selfish and irresponsible man who had no business having unprotected sex with a highschooler. Gage was a lovesick idiot who put Aaron above everything, including his own child. Everything was just so ridiculously unrealistic that it was more infuriating than anything. Aaron evolved from selfish prick to selfish jealous prick. And I had no love for any of the characters and therefore could not enjoy the sex scenes.

I think the fact that Piper Sco
This was good, I enjoyed it. I love Bo, Gage and Aaron's little boy, to bits. He was so cute and adorable and sweet. My heart broke every time he coughed or his chest rattled too :( But thankfully they are able to figure out what it is and get him help. So cute! (Also, in case you don't know yet, this has mpreg in it, so warning for that).

Right away the premise of this, though is...a little tough to get past. Gage kept his and Aaron's son a secret from everyone except for like two people and liv

Gage and Aaron are couple number 2. The Proposal from the start was so heart warming. No Gage's son was very sick in book one and now in the one we learn the reason behind it.

In the end things workout for Gage and Aaron. Even through all the obstacles that was put before them.

This was really a cute likeable story. The main characters were both nice and Gage sounded adorable. It is the second in the series and I enjoyed it!

Gage, Aaron, and Bo (an audio review)

When I met Gage in the first book in the series, my heart broke. A single father reliant on webcam sex work and the generosity of friends just to get by. And then his son Bo got sick and Gage couldn’t afford to take him to the doctor. My heart broke every time the little guy’s lungs crackled and I tried to see things from Gage’s perspective – how he was convinced he would ruin his love’s life if the guy found out he was a father. Ugh, it was brutal. His story

TeenDad2 aka Gage is a cutiepie! I fell in love with him in the first book and couldn't wait to finally read/listen to his story. And this book was everything I hoped for Gage and everything he deserves.

Gage and Aaron's relationship was really cute, teen love with the promise to love each other in their whole life. Loved Gage and Aaron and Beau♥

The Single Dad chats are always fun and loved how Knot was this cute with Gage. And I just LOVE the way Michael narrates those voices, everyone is j

This Single Dad Support Group series has become one of my top 5 series of all time. The Proposal is book 2 and follows Gage – the youngest of the Single Dads and someone I have the softest spot for. Gage is simply the most adorable and devoted man who loves with his whole heart. This book is pivotal to the whole series and sets up many other plot points along the rest of the books. The narration by Michael Ferraiuolo is exquisite and he brings Gage, Bo, Aaron and Knot to life in ways my mind did ...more

Enjoyed book 2 of this series. Best friends to lovers, Gage hides his pregnancy and baby from his boyfriend. But when Aaron surprises Gage and the truth comes out, problems ensue that even the SDSG can't help.

I have been WAITING for Gages story and anticipating it like crazy since book one and the author did not disappoint. The story had everything in it. It was funny and sweet, heartbreaking at times and emotional. Both MCs were so damn genuine and true to eachother and it was honestly beautiful to read.

I loved what Bo added to the story. At certain times, he felt like my heart. So vulnerable and sweet.

The only thing I wish is that we got more Bo, Aaron and Gage interactions at the end, specifical

Ahhhhhh! This is the series I've been wanting ever since I read the His Command series by Piper Scott! I wanted to know what happened to the children of those characters, and now I know! I didn't realize it when I was reading the first one, but when I was about 1/2 way through this one, I was like wait... and had to go check to make sure that I was right in thinking that these were the same people. I was right and I was so happy!

Gage and Aaron were deeply in love, but Aaron had all of his schooling to get though. 5 years older than Gage, Aaron felt that he needed to go off and get himself set so he could take care of Gage and they could be a family when he finished. Gage was completely in love with Aaron and was waiting for him, but being a single dad all alone caused many challenges. When Aaron returned, they had a lot to learn about each other and how to move forward in a different world.

I liked the story. I thought i

This was one of my favorite SDSG books when I read, and the audio, fabulously narrated by Michael Ferraiulo, only made me love it even more! Aaron and Gage were not the brightest throughout the book, but their love shone through completely. I loved that in the first book you think Gage is sweet and innocent, but find out here how truly kinky he is when he’s with the man he loves. And while I didn’t like the way Aaron handled everything, you could tell Gage and Beau were his main concerns at all ...more

Piper Scott debuted as a trio of authors looking to write together for fun. Their collaboration led to three novella-length books (Love Me, Save Me, and Keep Me,) before life sent them in different directions, leaving just one author with an omegaverse plot bunny that wouldn’t leave her alone. Obey was born several months later… but the plot bunny never left—it multiplied.
