Reign to Ruin is book four in this addictive Omegaverse series.
This particular instalment centres on Alpha King Malloron of Eiros and the Omega Amara a spy masquerading as a servant within the royal castle.
My first experience with this author but definitely won't be my last as this was such fantastically engrossing stuff.
So after Amara is discovered by the king red-handed the two strike a bargain though somewhat reluctantly on Amari's behalf and as a result, Amara finds herself at the mercy of n

Some disturbing subject matter, but lighter in many ways compared to other books in this series.

This book is part of the Myth of Omega series, but the focus is now on a new couple; Amara & Malloron.

Malloron is the magical King of the Western Lands, housing stolen men and women (turning them into sex slaves), and servants. One such servant is Amara, the spy who is a part of a team that infiltrated Malloron's castle. Malloron makes a deal with her, a deal she thinks will benefit her and the Om

H - He's deliciously dark, sexy, rich, powerful, a king, huge is size, strong (said to be the strongest with magic), OTT controlling, possessive and would totally be j/p if given the opportunity. (He's the King so there weren't many opportunities for j/p scenes.) He's also an alpha anti-H.
h - Smart, loyal, not a bitch
Sex - Very steamy with bondage. (She's almost always restrained during sex.)

No cheating (H had been celibate for years.)
4* STARS!!

Unapologetic pervert meet fiery Omega.

I've been waiting for King Malloron's story since his introduction in the previous books. When Emperor Drocco use brute strength as an Alpha, King Malloron use silver tongue and his powerful Talent. He is know as the most manipulative leader in the lands. As a true Visant royal blood who create Talent/magic. But there's so many corruptions happened in Western Lands. It is also known for the slavery.

Amara and other Omegas has been in King Malloron's
Using the Talent (the ability to manipulate magic) is as natural as breathing for King Malloron as his family created it but it comes at a cost. A cost that requires periodic compensation. With the clock ticking, Malloron needs to focus on lining up all the the components needed to pay or risk forfeiting his family's very heritage.

Returning to the western lands of Eiros after an extended absence helping Emperor Drocco, Malloron is emotional over the fact that Omegas have been hiding right under

I really liked this book and how the author continued this series.

When I heard King Malloron was the main anti-hero:

If you liked the first 3 books of this series you'll love this book. Especially if the first taste of King Malloron in the previous books weren't enough.

Zoey Ellis, I am hugely impressed with this book. I actually thought this book would be below the original 3 books, but... I am happy to type this book was in my hands the entire day it came out. I couldn't put it down for more th

Reign to Ruin continues in the same Omegaverse as the Myth of Omega series, but follows different characters. It can possibly be read as a standalone, but it’s probably easier to understand if you read the MoM series first.

The story starts out slow, but the dynamic between Malloron and Amara is intriguing, gaining momentum for the story and making it difficult to put down.

In the previous MoM books, King Malloron learns that there are Omega spies within his castle, but he doesn’t know why they’re

I want to make it clear right away that this was a case of it's not you, it's me.

I really wanted to like this one; there aren't enough MF Omegaverse stories out there, and the first couple of books in this series were pretty good. I just somehow couldn't get into Reign to Ruin. Amara and Malloron didn't feel like real people to me, and the first 50 pages or so were a deep struggle. Things did pick up after a while, but it felt far too easy to put the book down and tell myself I'd return to it i

Ahhhhhhh!!!!!! Cliffies!!! Zoey Ellis writes those types of cliffhangers you love to hate and you hate to love. Always leaving the book off with so much suspense and excitement for the next book!
King Malloroon seems like a much lesser Alpha than Drocco was at first. Reign to Ruin is the first book about him and Amara. After getting to read and learn about him in this book, he is most definitely not a lesser Alpha than Drocco. He ju

Another great installment in the Myth of the Omega series. I love this series, and I loved the start of Malloron and Amara's relationship.

I loved the glimpse that we got of Malloron in the Crave books, so I was super excited to learn that he and Amara would be the focus of the second trilogy. Like Drocco, Malloron is an alpha in every way, but he is much more twisty and manipulative than Drocco was and reminded me a lot of Loki. He is a powerful Talent user, and through him, we learn more about

I have read the "Crave to" series that follows Emperor Droco and Cailyn's adventures from Cailyn's discovery as an Omega to her acceptance of her Alpha, and I think it's important for that series to be read before starting the "Reign to" series that follows King Malloron and Amara. There's too much background information, not to mention a great story, that would be missed otherwise.
I can see that Malloron is starting his change, and I definitely hope that he gets rid of the slaves in the pleasur

Daammnn! Malloran and Amara are so dang hot! I highlighted so many quotes in this text. I kind of wish I could wait until the series Is completed then I could read it all the way through. There are some intriguing plot twists. This story is way different than Drocco and Cailyns story. Amara is a fighter and refuses to let him get away with his shenanigans. I have questions galore. What is going on in the red dungeon? Will we see the Omegas again? What about Drocco and Cailyn? What is going to ha ...more

I really enjoyed this book. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars because the beginning did seem a bit slow but definitely picked up pace.

King Malloron is a powerful man who is not used to having his power tested by others. Amara is a strong, determined woman. Willing to go the extra mile to get the answers she wants no matter what it takes. She finds out soon enough it might be harder fighting her own mixed emotions than it is to fight the King.

I liked the mild BDSM the story had to offer. It was just

I'm glad that I didn't give up on these books, they're shot after all. The last one was pretty awful what with the magical history lessons and stupid mothers but this one shows great potential. It still has it's kind of boring magic parts but it's a spy game for the most part.

Eek! I meant to write a review a while ago, I’m in the middle of trying to move so too many things are getting in the way of my reading! LOL! Malloron is one of my favorite characters of Zoey Ellis’, I feel like he just fits all of my preferences to a T. Anti-hero done right- Check. Sweet but sassy heroine- check. Side of dark- check. Great storyline- check. If you like a darker hero than this is the book for you, I couldn’t have loved him more and this was the perfect trope to put him in. LOVED ...more

This is a great start to what I hope will be a great series. It doesn't drag on with boring conversations or go on and on about history. Entertaining spy work as well. It is similar to the previous series but quite changed. Looking forward to the next installment.
An intriguing and twisty story with some very dark undertones

I love a good Omegaverse story and having read the Crave series of books I jumped at the chance to continue spending time in this world. Malloron appeared to be a very unpleasant character in the first series of books, so I was both very interested in reading more about him, as well as discovering if that impression was correct.

In the hope of finding out some of his secrets, perhaps rescuing innocent chi

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to review *minor spoilers ahead*

I loved the story of Drocco and Cailyn in the first novel and couldn't wait for King Malloron's story. Don't let his use of magic fool you into thinking he's not just as Alpha as Drocco and this book proves it! I loved the in-depth worldbuilding of the Western Lands in this book and how different it was from the 1st 3 books around Drocco. This was not necessarily a direct continuation of the 1st trilogy but it's not

MALLORAN is supposedly the most powerful Talent Crafter and in the first book we see his desperation to have an Omega. The question is why? He's desperate to find a vessel to hold the Tenebris, a powerful source that only certain heir in his family can hold and allows them to use magic without dropping dead. Unfortunately, the Tenebris will cri

While for me, the jury is still out on if King Malloron can be redeemed, Zoey Ellis' Reign to Ruin is another epic journey into dark delights. Ellis is a master at tantalizing her readers with the darker side of desire. And let me tell you, journey down this less walked path is worth it.

We first meet both Amara and King Malloron during Drocco and Cailyn's story. I was less than impressed with Malloron. His kingdom is viper's nest of depravity in those books, and it's even worse now that we're se
When Reign To Ruin appeared in my inbox, I dropped everything (including the book I was busy reading) and started reading this immediately. Having read, and loved, the previous Myth Of Omega books, I had high expectations for Reign To Ruin. I was not disappointed.

This time round, we are taken back to the Western Lands and Eiros Castle, home of King Malloron. Unlike other Alphas in Omegaverse books, who want and need Omegas mainly to mate with, Malloron has a different agenda, making this book un

This is the fourth book in the Myth of Omega series but revolves around a completely different couple than the first three books did. Since it's a different couple, technically it could be read as a standalone, but I don't recommend it. Reading the first three help to introduce the reader to the Omegaverse they all live in, as well as the dynamic of the characters. I think it would be much easier to follow along if you had read the books in order.

Reign to Ruin is the fourth book in the ‘Myth of Omega’ series from author Zoey Ellis. Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it’s actually the first book that centers around King Malloron and Amara. I did not read the first three books in the series and had little to no problems understanding the plot. There were some subplots that I didn’t fully comprehend, so if you have the opportunity, I would

Thanks for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion. Cover and blurb really caught my eye but the genre really grabbed me.

Not a whole heck of a lot of books that are in this fantasy genre but this story holds up and was amazing. King Malloran (horrible name) is angsty and just sexy as....enter a bad word here. He's possessive and just a plain jerk but man has he got it bad for Amara...the omega. This is just one of those insane reads that once you get the gist of it, it just takes off into the

ARE YOU READY? Another Zoey Ellis book is finally available. If you’ve read the first three books in the Myth of Omega series, you’ll know that King Malloron is a very nasty man. He’s power hungry and not above doing anything to get more and keep what he has. Now he wants an Omega and he’ll do whatever it takes to get one. But is he really ready for Amara?

I think you could read this as a stand-alone but you’ll miss a lot of backstory that really enhances the story. Warning: there is a cliffhange
