Ancien élève des célèbres ateliers d’écriture Clarion, Daryl Gregory a publié sa première nouvelle en 1990, mais il a vraiment explosé durant la dernière décennie, sortant des textes souvent repris dans les best-of annuels de Gardner Dozois. Depuis 2008, il a fait paraître deux romans, Pandemonium et The Devil’s Alphabet , tous deux impressionnants de maîtrise. En France, deux de ses textes ont été publiés dans l’excellente revue Fiction .« Deuxième personne du singulier » est une fascinante plongée dans le fonctionnement du cerveau humain, dont les étrangetés rappellent le roman de Peter Watts, Vision Aveugle , mais dans un cadre plus terre à terre. Gregory parvient à construire un texte rempli d’émotion et d’humanité en se basant sur les dernières avancées de la neuropsychologie. Du grand art.

He is also the writer of Flatline an interactive fiction game from 3 Minute Games, and comics such as Planet of the Apes.

He's a frequent teacher of writing and is a regular instructor at the Viable Paradise Writing Workshop.

i really liked this! tightly written & surprising at every turn, and it earns its awesome title as well.
