Fandoms: Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015) Relationships: Kylo Ren/Rey, Rey/Ben Solo | Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron/Finn, Finn/Rose Tico -------------------------------------------------- Ben takes a deep breath. “It’s—it’s a project. Conceptual art. You wouldn’t get it.”
Rey presses her lips together to keep from laughing. She plans her next words quickly and carefully, determining what will get her the best reaction. “Really? Looks like you ruined a bedsheet to me.”
His reaction does not disappoint. “Get out.”

Seven-year-old Rey decides it's her duty to annoy the crap out of Ben Solo every single day she's alive.
Omg I did not know this was on good reads🙏💓Thank God I can rate this masterpiece...I think it broke me💔
“Do you know want to know one of the reasons why I love you?”
Ben’s eyes slowly swivel to rest on her. They’ve gone wide.
Rey continues. “On the day I met you, I hadn’t smiled all day. Did you know that? Not once. But then I met you and I couldn’t stop smiling. You scared everyone else but you didn’t scare me. And I think that first day was it. It was the first day I started loving you.”
Rey pauses. Her breathing is shaky and her entire body is quaking. “And I’ve loved you ever since. You were my best friend, you made me laugh, you understood me, you made me feel safe-” Another shaky breath. It’s getting harder to breathe. “I love you, Ben.” She shrugs her shoulder and shakes her head, because the words are so simple to her, so easy to say after holding them in for so long. “So much.”
Oh my god this is a masterpiece, what a ride! I have been in reading slump but this came out of nowhere and I couldnt stop reading it, loved everything about it! I adore Rey so much and all of the characters just *chef's kiss
I didn't think I'd actually find this fanfic on here, but considering it's the length of a full novel I figured I'd at least try to get it to count for my reading challenge. Not to mention how GOOD this is!! I literally read it all in 24 hours, which is something I haven't done since reading The Knife of Never Letting Go, which was almost two years ago. Like wow. Really inspired me to keep writing my own Star Wars fanfic.
This is a shining example of a story written with such care and such passion that it will stay with you for years. Despite being a fic based on existing characters, Rey and Ben are completely reimagined and feel entirely original. This story broke my heart and put me back together again.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | this was a easy read that i did in one sitting and also one of the only fics where i actually tolerated the whole “ she grew up with him while he’s a decade older and they fall in love with each other along the way “ only because it was done in a way where it didn’t feel like grooming and just two people meant to be.
I've learned that it's bad from to rate fanfiction (totally understandable) but if I were to rate this, 5 freaking stars. This will live in my head for forever. Truly a beautiful story.
