After reading this book, I have never been able to look at food the same way again. There are so many things that the scientific world has done in the name of bettering our life and environment, but when it's all said and done, it's all about the money. It's sad when scientists say things aren't safe, and the are still produced and consumed with the guise that they are fine. All is not as it appears. This book is a must read.

Here's the thing... only read this book if you want to be freaked out by the food you've probably been eating your whole life. Though a bit repetitive, and not quite as well-written as say, "In Defense of Food," it is still a captivating read. Oh, and you should probably only shop for organic food... btw. :)

Liked the subject and some of the studies referenced, it was just too dramatically written, even for an anti-GMO person.

Picked this up in the Sarah Lawrence book store when visiting. This book is boring, lacking in facts, and really should just be a brochure. There was not a whole lot (any) research done by the author besides amassing headlines. More could be found in 15 minutes by googling the subject than 3 hours in this book. Waste of time.
