Each illustration is accompanied by information about the species, detailing its Latin name, habitat and behaviour. Featured birds include the bald eagle, the Australian pelican and ruby-throated hummingbird. Age 6+

About the author

Narisa Togo is a printmaker and illustrator with a lifelong love of birds. She has a bachelor’s degree in ecology and a master’s degree in children’s book illustration. She lives in Japan.

The beautiful printmaking illustrations really make the book magnificent. It's a good book for children's to appreciate the beauty of birds and the nature.
