Another fun story!

I enjoyed another book in this series about the Hollister family! I especially enjoyed catching up with some of the previous characters! It was fun to see how Viv and Sawyer got together and I loved Viv’s daughter, Hannah! She was darling!!!

This is a nice story of contrasts, starting with Christmas in the desert, continuing with a female ranger and slightly younger male ranger from the local reservation. I enjoyed the romance which showed something of the roles and different family backgrounds.

I downloaded an ARC from Fresh Fiction and Net Galley. This is an unbiased review.
Terrific book about two people scarred by their pasts. Vivian is a park ranger whose partner is out of commission due to a broken leg. Even though she felt confident in her ability to work alone, she was assigned a temporary partner. Sawyer Whitehorse is not what she expected. He is young, incredibly handsome, and an inveterate flirt.

I liked both Vivian and Sawyer. Though she is a member of a wealthy family, Vivian works for a living at a job she loves. She is close to her family and their land.

This book was pretty predictable but I found myself enjoying this holiday read. I liked the characters and the dual point of view. I loved that there was plenty going on to keep things interesting. Overall this was a pretty good book I really enjoyed it.

The dialogue was a little clunky, but this had a lot more depth than most Harlequins I read. I really liked the main characters. Both were likable and brought depth to the usual romance troupes. Also the Christmas aspect didn't feel shoe horned in like most Christmas romance books.
