Same Time, Next Christmas by Christine Rimmer is a 2018 Harlequin Special Edition publication.

Matthias is planning to spend Christmas at his remote cabin in Oregon. Still coping with the effects of war, and haunted by the disappearance of his brother, he just wants some alone time. But, when he arrives, it looks as though his cabin has been broken into, and he’s caught the culprit red- handed.

Sabra made a miscalculation and got caught out in a snow storm as a result. Finding an empty cabin, she
Terrific book with a very unusual timeline. Most romances take place over a few days to a few months, while this one spans four years. It was a lot of fun to see how both Sabra and Matthias changed over those years. It began when Matthias arrived at his cabin for his yearly holiday retreat. He loves his big, noisy family, but at that time of year, he'd prefer to be alone. Those plans are upended when he arrives at his cabin and discovers a beautiful trespasser. Sabra had been out on an impulse h ...more

Same Time Next Christmas is the third book in Christine Rimmer's Bravos of Valentine Bay series. This book can be read as a stand alone or part of the continuing series (highly recommended). This romance is a little different from usual romance scenarios in that it takes place once a year for ten days during the holiday season from December 23rd until New Year's Day. Matthias Bravo and Sabra Bond meet when he goes to his cabin to have a quiet Christmas alone as he does every year. This first mee ...more

I loved this story so much, Matthias and Sabra were so right for each other!! This story takes place over the span of four years so you see how their love grows for each other. They are both very afraid of falling in love again, but Matthias falls hard and wants more. It almost takes losing him to another woman to make Sabra realize her true feelings. This was the perfect Christmas love story.

In “Same Time, Next Christmas,” we return to Valentine Bay and the next story of the Bravos who reside there. If you’ve read any of my reviews before, you know that author Christine Rimmer is one of my favorites and her books stay on my “Keeper Shelf.” This book also stays on that shelf. It is well written and I enjoy the storyline. But….I will admit I wanted to reach into this story and smack both the hero and heroine upside the head for wasting so much time. Life is too short for that!

“Same Time, Next Christmas” is part of Christine Rimmer’s Bravos of Valentine Bay miniseries. It is the story of Matthias Bravo and Sabra Bond.

Every Christmas, Matt goes to a cabin in the woods away from his family. They understand why Matt needs his alone time, since Matt was in the military and still deals with a family trauma from when he was younger.
This year, he finds someone already there and is immediately suspicious. It turns out to be Sabra, who had been out hiking and got caught in a r

In an updated view on an annual tryst, Christine Rimmer brings us “Same time, Next Christmas”, Matthias Bravo and Sabra Bond’s story in her Valentine’s Bay series. It is in a bit of a different format, taking place over a multi-year period. It sounds a bit strange, but it totally works for this storyline.

Matthias likes to spend his Christmas holiday alone in his remote cabin. As he arrives at his cabin, he realizes there is someone who beat him there. Sabra has been hiking during a rain storm a

This 3rd installment In Christine Rimmer's Valentine's Bay series is unusual that it occurs over 4 years only at Christmas. After a rough start and misunderstanding, the two travelers begin to get along and get to know each other. They decide on a "no strings attached relationship" which agrees with both of them. I absolutely loved this book which is the third in her newest series. I love all of Christine Rimmer’s books. I fell in love with Matt and Sabra but I did hate that four years was the timeline. I wanted them together right away but they needed to learn themselves before they could have a relationship. They meet at his remote cabin when she needs shelter and she stitches his leg up. They decide to have a no strings fling until New Years and decide to meet the next Christmas for 10 days. They deci ...more

This is by far the best book I have read in quite some time! The storyline of Matt & Sabra, how they meet and what transpires from the moment they meet and on is one of a kind! I literally could not put this book down! This is not your typical Christmas story and the fact that Christine Rimmer could write this unique storyline only goes to show the talent behind the book. It is a must read. From the timing of the both characters pasts, to each part of the timeline of the setting in this book ...more

Same Time, Next Christmas is a FABULOUS story. From the moment I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. The way Christine Rimmer weaves the history of the characters together makes you want to continue to the end and with the twists and plots, it's a page turner. I loved the way Christine takes us through the time in between Christmases and her attention to the characters, and sub-characters makes you wish and hope they end up together. I am a sucker for holiday magic and romance.
Matt and Sabra met on awkward terms when she sought shelter in his cozy cabin. He thought she was an intruder and things were not magical. Eventually, they become friendly and make a pact. I can't say much more, but this is one story that will make you believe in Christmas magic. Find out how it ends, because it certainly wasn't how I expected! Christine NEVER DISAPPOINTS! She is one of the best authors that delivers incredibly sweet novels! Every. Si

This is a book you do not want to start unless you have time to finsh! Christine Rimmer had me so wrapped up in Sabra and Matthias' story that by page 12 I knew I was in for a late night. Sabra is enchanting and Matthias is, well, hot. And sensitive. And fun. Together they are perfect! Unfortunately, life has other ideas, but you cannot help bu pull for them all the way to the end. One of the most romantic stories I have read.

Sabre and Matthias met unexpectedly during a snow storm, but, after a short steamy time together after being stuck in his cabin, they agree to meet again during the same time period next Christmas.

This is a sweet love story that takes you through the stages of a romance that makes you want to root for them to know what we know.

Christine Rimmer is a great story crafter and makes you care about her characters and have you aching for more from her. This is a great story!

They say timing is everything. Well in Sabra and Matthias case this is especially true. They met by accident when Sabra gets stranded at Matthias mountain retreat. They agree to meet there every Christmas as long as each are still single. The head and the heart aren't always on the same page and it takes this fascinating couple a few Christmases to get both on the same page. It is a wonderful Christmas story that will remind you that anything is possible at Christmas!
This story about Sabra and Matthias was quite the tale. The hero and heroine tended to bring trouble on themselves just like so many times we do in life. They finally seemed to get out of the way and let life take them where they needed to go. I really enjoyed their journey and so many times wanted to say no don't do that! What a great story and as I always enjoy Christine RImmer's books I enjoyed this one too!

Same Time, Next Christmas by Christine Rimmer.
Sabra Bond and Matthias Bravo meet when she breaks into his cabin in the woods, they agree to have a Christmas only affair, it works well for the first 3 years, then they break up when Matthias asks Sabra for more in the relationship. then they meet at the cabin on the 5th Christmas and they are both ready for more. I really liked the way this book was written. It was very easy to read, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a good book.

Another amazing Bravo story!!! This story hit home with me. My own Soldier deals with the hyper-awareness and hyper-weariness of PTSD and the author gets to the heart of it. The story is sweet and frustrating at the same time. Several times through the story, I wanted to reach in and grab them both to shake the sense into both of them. The love between Mattias and Sabra melts your heart. I didn’t want this sweet story to end.

Repeating a moment in time. That’s what the hero and heroine in Christine Rimmers newest Bravo story are doing. Sabra and Matthias have a chance meeting, that turns into same time next year with a twist. There are miscommunications and expectations than ebb and flow making this story one to love. Ultimately they come back together at that moment where everything is in alignment.

Matthias Bravo decides to head to his cabin for the holidays, only to find Sabra Bond already there. I found it wonderful how they finally come together, but hated that it took them fours to get there. However, it did make for a wonderful story! The author kept me up clear into the night finishing this book! I highly recommend this book!
