Ache For You is book three in the Slow Burn Series by J.T. Geissinger. I read and fell in love with the first two books in this series. Each book is so different. This one is an enemies to lovers story and I could not put it down. I experienced just about every emotion possible within these pages. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.

Kimber DiSanto is a seamstress. She has a little dress shop and is about to marry the man of her dreams. The man she has been dating for the past three years. With

This is going on my top ten reads for 2018, for sure

Reading this book felt like getting a massive dose of chocolate....right in the veins, and I finished it with the widest smile on my face (and possibly a sugar induced coma), but nothing -nothing, I tell you- can take away the joy and laughs that this book bestowed on me. JTG, you’re my favorite person (well, one of) and I love much. Sniff.

When Cinderella meets Prince Charming…😍

I literally feel like I’m on top of the world, after receiving this ARC. It was my most wanted book to read of the year and I got lucky to receive it months before the release day. Sue me for gloating. 😋

Read the blurb, to find out that it’s a modern fairytale of a young woman who gets left at the altar, then her father dies and her business goes up in flames. Literally. On top of that, she finds out that her father married a barracuda and she a

I'm totally, madly, irrevocably inlove with this book!!!! You know a book is unbelievably good when you can't put it down and someone interrupts you and you have to put it down to deal with them but you silently plotting ways to kill them and not silently throwing a shoe at them..... Well that is how I felt! This book gave me all the feels.

Kimber (Heroine) and Matteo (Hero) as so adorable together. Their banter and sarcasm between the two were hilarious. Their sexual tension was off the charts.

This is a hilarious, sexy, enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy that had me giggling so much. It's a modern retelling of Cinderella, set in the gorgeous country of Italy, and of course, has a hunky Italian hero who dirty talks in Italian. Kimber and Matteo are amazing together – they do not get along yet the banter is witty and the chemistry is on fire. The story is a little over-the-top, a lot hilarious, and I had so much fun reading it.

Thanks to the publisher for generously providing me an ARC to
I’m a huge fan of enemies to lovers and this one was definitely that. Add in a bit of a Cinderella twist, a wild cast of characters and a hero that knows just how to push the heroine’s buttons and you’ve got yourself one fantastically fun read.

I enjoyed everything about the way this couple meet and continue to meet, how they completely clashed and the resulting steam of chemistry that smolders between them during each confrontation. Matteo was out to win Kimber from the first moment she ignored

I see I’m in minority here. I was struggling with this book for more than 2 days, and more than 3 days for writing this review.

I have to say, i don’t like to write bad/negative reviews. But this book just didnt work out for me.

I just saw multiple ARC calling heroine names because she’s apparently rude and checked their other reviews where they swooned on heroes because they’re “oh so alphas” in other word: RUDE.

Needless to say, I would be reading this book.

I don’t care if people are rude or not, I do care if they’re judged for being rude because you’re a woman. I do care if it’s considered as a quality on men and a flaw on women.

Rudeness is not necessarily a turn off, double standards definitely is.

Over and out.

I loved the first book in this series which has no overlap whatsoever with this one.

I didn't see the chemistry between them. Kimber really liked the way he looks and couldn't stop talking about it, A LOT. He was "nasty" to her because he didn't want he to figure out he loved her cause it was too soon. The ending was good, but I think it would have been better if (view spoiler). L
Huh. Well, that happened.

Despite my serious love for this series (fours & fives people! from me, the stingy witch with a b), ACHE FOR YOU just felt like a straight up departure from the realm of great -- nay, fantastic -- romances that came before it. Both BURN FOR YOU and MELT FOR YOU have interesting and complex characters that feat

Okaaaaay! So, I enjoyed this one but didn’t love it as fiercely as I loved the first two books, and that's SAD.

Anyway, full review to follow!
Down-on-her-luck Kimber—dumped by a wealthy fiancé at the altar—makes it to Italy, though not without more drama following her around, mostly in the form of another rich Italian tycoon. Only to realise that her dying father has remarried a calculative barracuda, left her with 2 stepsisters, and an evil stepmother.

If this rings familiar, that’s because ‘Ache for You’ is a Cinderella tale of sorts from riches to rags and riches again, only that it involves a truly unlikeable heroine and a mysteri

I thought this was a silly but fun romantic comedy that really played up the whole Cinderella theme.

So many crazy things happened to Kimber that you can't help but think she is cursed. You can't take it too seriously. Just sit back and enjoy the comedy of her life after her not so Prince Charming dumps her at the alter, and the domino effect that happens from there.

As a hero, Matteo wasn't exactly Prince Charming either. He's drawn to Kimber from the moment he lays eyes on her and yet he is st

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

To say it hasn't been Kimber's week would be putting it lightly. First, her high-profile fiance leaves her at the altar, making her the laughing stock of the fashion world. Then she receives news that her father has suffered a heart attack, and she must travel to Italy to see him, only to lose her seat on the airplane. Soon after she finally arrives in Italy, she receives word from her landlord that her busi

I had such high expectations for this book based on the other two in this series.
Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad !!!!! (to quote Meatloaf)
I didn't hate it but I didn't really love it either.
Storyline and characters were both a bit of a let down for me.
The story was simply too unbelievable and a lot of the scenes just felt very repetitive (because they were).
At one point I really thought that I would scream out loud if she mentioned her uterus one more time.

3 "Loosely Cinderella" Stars!

Well, I am certainly in the minority here, but this one didn't work as well for me as the first two did. Mainly because the two main characters got on my nerves. She was overly dramatic and he was like a little boy that kept pulling on her ponytail...

There were a lot of funny moments and some very good quotes. Plus, if you decide to listen to the audiobook, the male narrator's voice is just delightful. Overall, not bad. But I really loved the first two books in this

I have been waiting for this book ever since I have read the first book in the Slow burn series, and of course, ever since i have started to read all the previously written books by JT Geissinger...

So, I've literally swallowed this book...simply cause, JT Geissinger writes the most witty, the most heart-felt, steamy hawt and absolutely smart/cynical banter/bickering of the "enemies to lovers" trope in romance genre...

I shall say no more...

it's absolutely one of my favorites this year and also

I can’t get GR to reconcile my 2 reviews for this book, so here’s a 2nd review that says the same as the original.

Despite my big-time love for the second book in this series, Melt for You, and my eagerness to read this one, I can't recommend it. I didn't find the premise plausible or the principal characters well characterized and/or believable (much less likeable), and the plot seems to recycle itself over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....

How can I describe this book? Two words. Dirty Cinderella. Seriously this is a more modern, sexy, adult take on the classic rags to riches trope, complete with stepmother and a fabulous twist.

After being jilted at the alter by petrified prince, our broken hearted heroine hardens her armour against male advances. Of course, another prince (or king of couture) swoops in to sweep our lady off her feet and gets a knock back for his efforts. Not to be put off from his quest he endeavours to win our h

This was a read of pure escapism for me. ACHE FOR YOU came into my life just at a great moment and sucked me into a great story with fabulous chemistry and all the banter. I have loved the previous two books in this series and this book did not let me down. Please never finish with this series, JT Geissenger.

ACHE FOR YOU starts with a jilting at the alter, of mammoth proportions and if you think the heroine Kimber’s luck is down then, it really just gets worse. She travels from San Fran

Sometimes soulful and sad, at other times chuckle-inducing, this was another solid sexy, original romance from Geissinger. Our hero Matteo has Kimber in his sights, and he's relentless. I love a hero with his laser beam tracking the heroine. There's something sexy about a romance in which the man knows what he wants. I wanted a little more from Kimber and Matteo's mom...that relationship could have had a lot more going on, but in all, a solid four star read for me.

Ache for You by J.T. Geissinger is a sexy, enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance that is impossible to put down! It’s so entertaining, filled with sexy, antagonistic, and witty banter between two characters that you can’t help but root for. With a unique Cinderella twist, book three in Geissinger’s Slow Burn series, is sure to please the fairytale lover in all of us. A sassy heroine, a cocky alpha male

To say that Kimber DiSanto has had a shitty week is an understatement. She got dumped at the altar and consequently was made a laughingstock in the tabloids. Next her father passed away and she found out that she has a new stepmother whose gaze is frostier than the North Pole as well as two canine stepsisters who have free reign over her father's house. Furthermore, her boutique store in San Francisco has burnt down to a cinder, which is just as well as her complete spring collection has been ap ...more
2.5 rounded up to 3 stars- mainly for the hero and the chemistry.

This was just a mess. I really hated the heroine in the beginning, liked her somewhat in the middle, then lost all faith in her character by the end. This was just.... *heavy sigh*... another book in the long line of 2018 "what on earth did I just read" novels this year. Everything from the characters to the plot/situational drama was just so out there. The heroine was written as if the author was a 14 year old writing what she th

On what should have been the happiest day of her life, Kimber is dumped at the altar and within 24 hours is on a plane to Italy to spend the last bit of time left with her dying father at his hospital bedside. She was lucky to have made it in time actually, the kindness of a cocky, handsome stranger was her saving grace.

Upon arrival at her father’s home, Kimber is shocked to discover that her father had recently remarried and she now has a not only a step mother but a step brother too. That is n

Oh boy, was I looking forward to this book. Literally salivating over it because I have loved every book in this series thus far - and pretty much everything JT Geissinger has written for that matter. Though it's book 3, it's a standalone. I do, however, recommend reading the others. They're all humorous, heart-felt stories about slow burn romances, mostly with clashing personalities. Which, I think, is the reason I like them so much. Nothing tickles my fancy more than enemies to lovers.

This is first person POV, Alternating Kimber/Matteo
The beginning of the book- no secret, Kimber is left at the altar on her wedding day.
Kimber goes to Italy (near Florence) to be will her very ill father. Kimber and Matteo's "meet cute" is fun. Kimber is on the high side of feisty. Matteo is so rrrroar. and very sexy charming.
Kimber doesn't fall for his flirting. She doesn't want to. but inside, she's hot for him. He's hot for her.
Is Matteo just another bum guy?

I love this series. Book two was my favorite. This one was not working out for me.

Can't like them all.
But I'm happy my friends enjoyed it. And I would definitely recommend this series.

Overall this was just felt flat for me:
* story line and characters are just not working out and were all over the place
* heroine .... no bueno
* chemistry between them was also lacking

I liked some funny moments with heroines friends. I especially liked her bff Jenner. The writing is also good. I read it pretty f
