Interesting read on the life of John Bunyan. I knew about Pilgrims Progress but didn’t know anything about the author. This book written early 20th century gives a surprisingly detailed look at mid 17th century religious life in England and the incredible truths Bunyan suffered in prison for!

Good introduction to the life of John Bunyan, but I didn't really like the dramatised writing style.

Frank Mott Harrison gives us a unique biography of the famous Puritan, because he seeks to enter the mind of John Bunyan in what he would deem historically probable. I thought he did an excellent job without taking any far-fetched liberties. Here is a beautiful picture of the tinkers life.

A biography written somewhat like a novel. I recall enjoying it more than other biographies as a child. I still especially enjoy the trial scene.
