Growing up, Rylie was always off limits as my best friend’s little sister. When chasing my roommate down for rent money, I see her again for the first time in eight years, and I’m stunned by the woman she’s become. When I discover the attraction is mutual, I have to decide if I’ll follow my best friend’s wishes and keep my hands off, or if I’ll finally get to act on the feelings I suppressed for my naughty mechanic all those years ago.
Tara Vasser is a wicked writer who lives in the frozen north in Minnesota with her wonderful husband and two rambunctious little dudes. She is an engineer during the day, a crazy mom in the afternoon and a writer at night. She enjoys spending her time playing in the dirt when her gardens aren’t covered in snow and listening to a wide variety of music that inspires her writing – sometimes doing both at the same time.
After the death of their father, Rylie and her brothers have kept up running their family garage. But when her brother Wade starts acting out of sorts, Rylie is left to look for answers and approaches Nolan, her brother’s roommate and best friend. Together they not only discover what Wade’s been hiding, but also that a long time crush is blossoming into something more. Nolan has always thought of Rylie as off limits, but after all this time, wonders why he should hold back from taking a chance on his Naughty Mechanic.
While not my favorite in Tara Vasser’s Naughty Novella series, I still enjoyed and recommend this smexxy short! I would have just liked a few more pages on Wade’s actions and why he was keeping secrets from his family and best friend. I’m hoping the author will give Wade his own story and give this reader some answers…I do believe a Naughty Accountant would make a verra hawt installment!
