Nancy’s incredulous words echoed and swarmed around her mind, chasing away the sleep she so desperately needed. Quit... quit... quit... Preston turned over its meaning in her mind with indignation. She’d never quit anything in her life, but Matthew Hayes had pushed her past that point.
