BLOGGER NOTE: What is wrong with Goodreads? I haven't been able to log in for weeks! It asks for a sign in then immediately signs me out. It's been a revolving door or letting me in only to immediately kick me out! I sign in with my Facebook info if that helps but if anyone can help me resolve this issue I'd be greatly appreciative!!! I'm trying to hurry and upload this before It kicks me out and I don't know when it'll let me back in!

I loved this book so much!!! It was another ridiculously fantastic installment to the series!

Steele is the perfect alpha male! He is so lovable and fierce at the same time! And then Breezy! She is just so amazing. She is strong and independent and completely courageous! Feehan always knows how to write fantastic women and this book is no exception!

"She didn't want him or anything to do with him, but her body didn't seem to know that."

Vengeance Road is my 2nd venture into the word wizardry of Christine Feehan and it's official. I'm a #FanGirl. She's blown my mind both times and I might as well just put her on auto-click status. It was my MC Romance addiction that made me notice the motorcycle on the cover of her book. I've not read any of her Paranormal Romance, but I might reconsider now that I've seen her work in the biker world.

(4.5)Gut wrenching, dark emotional ride with a ray of hope. The Torpedo Ink **SERIES** are the individual stories of adults who as children were abused, raped, tortured physically, mentally and emotionally all the while being used as pawns for the old Russian regime. These individuals formed a motorcycle club (Torpedo Ink) and are learning to live, learning to love, learning what kindness is as they try an exist on the fringes of society in Casper. I read a teaser of this one and have spent the last months stalking this book through my ARC sources, hoping that it would be available soon! So excited!!! I think I like this spin-off series better than some of the originals! Steele is the third member of the Torpedo Ink MC that is embroiled in finding love and his story is so much better than I expected it to be! His love interest, Breezy Simmons, was born into an MC that was involved in human trafficking and abuse of the worst kind. She was r ...more
Is it possible to love a couple but despise the hero a little? Ok, a lot. Steele is really not my cup of tea. He is a an uber anti-hero that I had difficulty getting behind. I understand his background and history and it is the foundation for his current behavior, but it is so over the top, that I have no room for sympathy. As a couple, Breezy and Steele are the most dysfunctionally perfect couple there is, so I can celebrate their relationship. The story that brings them back together is suspen ...more

I LOVE the Torpedo Ink MC. For so many reasons. Each of the people in the club has had this horrifically tragic past, and they've chosen to rise above it and turn their skills into something positive when they use them to save others. They're each damaged in different ways, and that's manifesting when they find people to love. In none is this more apparent than it is with Steele.

In many ways, you could say his relationship with Breezy isn't healthy. But, I truly believe that of all the people o

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Its a good idea to read the books in order so you won't be lost, but I think this book could be read as a standalone.

Steele is the VP of Torpedo Ink. They are a biker club who are seeking to right some of the wrongs of the world. The men and women of Torpedo Ink were raised in "boarding schools" in Russia where they learned things that most adults never do: how to fight, seduce people and how to kill. Those who were strong,

He hurt her terribly 3 years ago. He can't forgive himself for what he did to protect her. When she needs help he's the person she runs to. Will vengeance against their enemy bring them back together? Can they overcome the past to find their version of happily ever after?

Christine Feehan continues the Torpedo Inc. series with the story of the Vice-President of the motorcycle gang Steel and the love of his life Breezy. A visit from her family has Bree coming to kill Steel and the gang's President

Jesus, this book was hard to read at times. The descriptions of child abuse was difficult to get through. But it was also integral to the story. As much as it broke my heart, I needed to understand what Steele and his brothers endured. Their shared experiences shaped the men they turned into.

I loved the emotion in this book. It was dark and angsty, and that’s something that I am enjoying at the mo

If I wasn’t a fan of Christine Feehan, I would have been after reading Vengeance Road. Vengeance Road the 2nd installment in Christine Feehan new series Torpedo Ink, published under Berkley Publishing Group. If you haven’t read the first story in this series Judgement Road, then let me give you a little back story to help you see why I think this book was a must read.

Torpedo Ink is a Motorcycle Club made up of 18 men and women, who had survived a horrendous life and decided to band together to b

Gah!! There is something about the Torpedo Ink crew that has me so addicted. I loved Breezy and Steele. Their love and devotion was truly beautiful! Their past was painful but seeing them reconnect was perfect. I loved them together and learning more and more about the club members and their life back in Russia was so riveting. I seriously can't wait for more!

After reading book one I needed to learn more about the lethal doctor, Steele and was obsessed with his love story with Breezy, his one tr

Really enjoyed this story! Breezy has to get to Steele even if it kills her, but if she can’t get him to listen to her someone will die. Steele can’t believe when Breezy walks into the clubhouse and sees him in a compromising position but with a grace she has always had she gives one of them a note for him. Steele let Breezy go three years ago but he had a job to do and he had to save her life but he was never happy after that. When he reads her note he refuses to let her leave and he and all of ...more

Steele really doesn't like when his woman leaves him, “baby, you want to go somewhere, you just say so. We can postpone the swim lessons. I’ll drive you in.” Breezy is a sassy little thing, I love that she challenges Steele, "Breezy sent him a look. “It’s called working, honey. That’s what the eff. I’m working. There aren’t that many of us to get the food ready.” I loved this book, Im really enjoying the series and with each book I read the more I want the others to get books.
Vengeance Road was a solid mc romance. I will say there was a lot of backstory right up front, a lot of characers introduced, and a lot of conflict from all sides. It made for a slow start, but I enjoyed the chemistry between Breezy and Steele. Enough emotional tension to keep the adrenaline pumping.

I didn't love Judgement Road (the first book in the Torpedo Ink series) and sadly I was even less impressed with Vengeance Road. The story had a lot of suspense and a detailed plot and I found the characters relatable but far too often the backstory was repeated or a feeling and an action between the main characters was retold. I felt like every chapter or every couple of chapters, I had to reread the horrific abuse the Torpedo Ink members suffered as children. It turned my stomach the first tim ...more

Do NOT like this series at all. Not into motorcycles not into abuse and neglect. Not into these thugs masquerading as heroes. Move on to something better Christine. I'll skip this series and enjoy Ghostwalkers/Dark Carpathians. Thanks but no thanks.

I liked Vengeance Road, but I didn't love it. There was nothing bad or slow about the story, but I just couldn't quite connect to the characters and their journey.
Both were interesting characters; Steele has to combine the killer and the doctor and Breezy had to survive a horrific childhood. It was also nice to discover a little more about some of the other members of Torpedo Ink.
I look forward to learning more about the rest of the group.
Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for the ARC.
