This was just a 30 page ad for the rest of the series.

Connie should've left and got a job at a cathouse. Now, THAT would've been an interesting and educational book.

There's a list of C-words in the back that kids are supposed to look for. I think of a few C-words that kids should know that perfectly describes the book and the creators of this sickeningly sweet series.

I guess I’m just not a fan of alphapet books.
They feel so shallow and the quality of language, illustrations, story line, etc feel very lacking.

This series of books is a very creative way on the part of Ms Lerner Perle. Each Alpha Pet has their own book and in that book has many words beginning with that letter of the alphabet. Like in this book the main character is Connie Cat and their are many, many C words but not so many that's overwhelming. And in the back lists some 'spelling words' that kids could write but also got back through the story to find.

Connie Cat is bored and she tries to find something to do, all the friends she finds are all busy and she begins to feel unloved and unwanted. So she goes to run away, but her friends finish all they are doing and goes to find her and goes after her to let her know they care about her and want her to stay
