I love small town romances so I was excited to read a new to me author even though this was book four in the series and Kelly Collins has created an idyllic town in Aspen Cove, Colorado full of colorful characters. Filling in for the town’s doctor his accident, Dr. Lydia Nichols has one thing on her mind to find a job in a big city emergency room and get out of the small town her sister loves so much, but little does she know when Wes Covington literally faints at her feet her life will

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

OMGosh! This was so flipping hilarious. I laughed so hard throughout this book. At times, I had to put the book aside as I couldn't stop laughing (okay laughing so hard, I was snorting!) The story is written in a dual POV which makes reading so much more enjoyable for me. Getting to know these two characters and reading their story made the book just fly by. I LOVED it. I will definitely be re-reading

4.5 - A delightfully comforting and romantic story set in a charming small town

This book was so swoony and adorable and my newest favorite romance series! Just so utterly in love with Aspen Cove and it's charmingly lovable characters that I cannot wait to binge the other novels.

I don't read small town romances that often, but when I do, I always have the warm fuzzies and feel so wonderfully happy. One Hundered Promises by Kelly Collins was no exception. This book was filled with heart tugging m

This is the fourth book in the Aspen Cove series. While it's a standalone, the series is super fun so you should find the rest of the series to read! The whole series gives you a reason to fall in love with small towns with all the quirk that goes with it.

One Hundred Promises takes us through the adventure of Doctor Lydia Nichols as she deals with both a breakup and job loss. She joins her sister Sage, who we met in One Hundred Reasons, book one, in Aspen Cove as a temporary doctor. She's got t

Such a heartfelt romance again in the welcoming surroundings of Aspen Cove.
I was worried about Lydia when she previously made short appearances in Aspen Cove. It was already obvious then she wasn't all right with how her life stood. This is her and Wes's story.

This time I learned what happened with Lydia since her parents died and she took up the task to be the pillar of her remaining very small family consisted of her sister Sage and their grandmother.
That meant she had to grow up overnight an

Wes was so so swoony. He was once like Lydia where he didn’t think of his happiness only pleasing others and earning money. Now he is after his bliss and finding balance in his life. He left it all behind to do what he loves. Wes is a great guy-smart, kind, generous and very low key. He doesn’t flaunt who he is or that he is a award winning architect. He loves his community and wants someone who will be there by his side making decisions with him together. He wants a partner in every sense of th ...more

I seem to get addicted to this small town romance series by Kelly Collins! I loved this book (and the other 3 books of Aspen Cove too) I loved how the character of Lydia, the heroine in the book, became more developed in the book, from a dedicated doctor trying not to become involve

This is the fourth book in the Aspen Cove series to which I have read them all. It is a standalone book, but I recommend reading the series as you will get the whole small towns to feel. This book was hilarious with the delightful dialogue and banter between mail the characters.

Another wonderful visit to Aspen Cove from Kelly Collins! In this story we again meet Sage’s sister, Dr. Lydia Nichols. Lydia has moved to Aspen Cove after losing her boyfriend and job at Denver General Hospital. She is now filling in for Doc, at the clinic, two days a week while he recovers. This is not how her life was planned…she should be working in a big city hospital emergency room dealing with life and death situations instead of a young girl who has put a Skittle up her nose. One of her ...more

I'm suspected to speak because I simply love all Kelly Collins' books that I've read. And with this one couldn't be different. The story of Lydia and Wes is beautiful.
After losing her job and her boyfriend, Lydia heads to Aspen Cove for a temporary job as a doctor, but her goal is to get a job in a big city.
Wes left the big city to live in Aspen Cove, leading a quieter life and doing what he really loves.
When they meet, the attraction is instantaneous. And when Lydia needs a place to stay becaus

This story made me smile, it made my heart break, and it put me back together. I loved every single second of this book. I fell in love with Lydia and Wes from the very beginning of this book.

Wes is an amazing man. He's had it all at one time, now he just wants a quiet humble life. He's a good man. He's not looking for short term. He wants someone that will be by his side day in and day out. Right now the only thing consistent in his life is Sarge

I received an ARC of this book and was thrilled to read it. All I can say is, I want to live in Aspen Cove! I love small town romances and this is my first set in Colorado. Lydia is a big city doctor who comes to small town Aspen Cove to temporarily help in her sister, Sage’s, medical clinic. Instead of long hours in a bustling hospital, Lydia was met with a kid with a skittle up her nose and Ray the older Casanova who simply stops in with a fictitious issue just to get a good look at the hot yo ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this hilarious, small-town romance. From the opening chapter, the book was filled with surprises and delightful dialogue. Lydia and Wes' initial meeting was less than stellar, however as they grew to know one another, they found common ground and both were forced to alter their opinions of the other. I enjoyed the slow build up of their romance and then Wes' strategic wooing of Lydia. I was reminded of the Mother Superior's words from the Sound of Music, where she tells Mari ...more

I really enjoy these small town romances and Aspen Cove is one of my favorite series. Each book stands alone however I recommend reading them in order because the Aspen Cove characters appear throughout the series. Lydia is a doctor and is the older sister to Sage from the first book. Doctor Lydia Nichols thought she had the best life! Achieving everything she thought she wanted, but when it all comes crashing down she agrees to cover for her sister boss in Aspen Cove while she regroup, while she gets set to leave, but what she wasn't expecting was the need in the town for her services, or her need for a certain smart mouth contractor.

One Hundred Promises by Kelly Collins is book four in her Aspen Cove Series. It is the first book that I've read by this author and can definitely be read a standalone.

This contemporary romance follows Dr. Lydia Nichols as she joins her sister as a temporary doctor at a small town clinic while dealing with a terrible break-up and job loss. Lydia has big city dreams. She's searching for something bigger and better and plans to leave Aspen Cove as soon as possible.

One Hundred Promises was my first time reading anything written by Kelly Collins and it didn't disappoint. Lydia and Wes' story is a sweet, emotional, and heartfelt small town romance, of friendship, family and love.

Lydia is a dedicated doctor who has been burned and finds the pace a little slow in Aspen Cove's little clinic. She's a care taker a heart, who thrives on success and has dedicated her life to making other's proud of her, rather than looking out for what she wants and needs.

ONE HUNDRED PROMISES is a wonderful, feel-good romance set in small town USA. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the writing. I’ll definitely be reading more books by the author.

The book tackles some serious issues but does so with a light touch, so the story is never mired in a pool of angst. This book tackles many life challenges we all face. What do we want? What do we need? How far should we go in pursuit of either? Wes has already taken this journey and he has found both what he wants and ne

Another winner in the Aspen Cove series. It was nice to finally get to really know Lydia. She is a strong, smart, successful woman but in dire need of recognizing what is truly important in life. It takes her a while to finally get her priorities in the right order and learn to love life instead of just existing. Wes is a swoon-worthy man--smart, successful, sure of his manhood without being an arrogant alpha, caring, compassionate, and romantic. Plus, he "kisses like a porn star."

I really should know by now that when I visit Aspen Cove, my heart is going to get wrenched around in my chest. On a related note, have the tissues handy just in case. I have been looking forward to Lydia’s story since we first met her in Sage and Cannon’s book. Lydia is in town to take over a temp job as town doctor, instead of the job she wanted in the big city with her boyfriend- All of those were gone. So she’d hold out here with her sister the nurse and B&B owner.

Kelly Collins is back with her Aspen Cove series and we see more of what kind of a guy Wes is. What I loved about this one is that we see Lydia with a big decision to make and Wes gives her the patience yet guidance she needs. All in all it was a sweet romance filled with beautiful characters, hard choices to make and a life of possibilities.
