A magnificent guide. One only hopes that it's not so dated as to be useless.... She hoped to do a second edition, but if she did it's not available. As it is, she knows that there is a proposal to build the Globe; she doesn't know about the Tate Modern at all. Still, much of London hasn't changed in the past 30 years.

90% of the buildings in this book are churches and those are listed in such excruciating detail that the book could be used as a field guide. This is not useful unless you are carrying the book with you around London.
