I f*cked up. Not in a small way, either.

When I met my son's best friend, the attraction was instantaneous. Jesse Morgan is charming, witty, and hot-as-sin. He might be young, but he's wise beyond his years. And damn, what he can do to me with something as simple as his touch or one glance from those chestnut-colored eyes.

Hard as I tried, I couldn't keep my greedy han

I don't even know why I tried. I can't connect with Eric Westright (42, becomes 43) and his son's best friend, Jesse Morgan (23). I don't like how when a man cries, he's weak. I skimmed the book for the most part. I'm actually only interested in Ty's reaction for when the truth about his dad's horrible past comes out. Sadly it wasn't in this book and I'm not really interested in reading book three as this one just didn't work for me. Am I the only one who doesn't like this se

Well Devon did it again. I really loved these two MC and would probably like to see more in the future. I would've liked it if Eric had been more angry at Trisha in the end, but really what's done is done. So I think it turned out as it should've. Ty had the right amount of anger toward both Eric and Jesse. I actually think Eric shoulda told Ty about his issues so maybe he'd understand more about why he was as distant as he was. Maybe even went to counselling with his dad and talked out how they ...more
3.50 stars!! I'm a little conflicted about how to review the book without seeming a little shallow. 🤔 First things first, this is certainly not a stand alone book; one has to read the previous book, BFF #1 since this book literally picks up where the last one ended. Eric and Jesse (who is Eric's son Ty's best friend) had instant chemistry that turned into much more during the course of the last book. They hid their relationship from Ty while having crazy hot sex 🔥💕, but when they start falling i ...more

Marginally better than the first book. Still spent most of it daydreaming. There were a couple more comments on men being weak for showing emotion, and this book continued on from the first in having no idea what domination/submission means in the bedroom. There is so much sex in this book I got bored - well, more bored - and started skimming those scenes.

One of my least favourite things about this book was that nothing was left to the imagination. Literally everything was spelled out. Sometime

3.5 stars, rounded up because I enjoyed this more than the first story.

Really happy to get more with Jesse and Eric! They are committed to each other, and determined to make things work. Things with Ty are awkward (and I honestly still think he's blowing things out of proportion with his reaction and reasoning) but both Eric and Jesse are trying their best to communicate with him and include him.

There is also a lot of progress with Eric beginning to cope with his past, and confront it in hopes o

BFF book 2 starts right where book 1 finishes. Jesse holding a crying Eric after his breakdown.

This book deals with the continuing relationship of Eric and Jesse. The trials, tribulations and trying to navigate this new relationship without stepping on each other toes.

Eric has a lot of work to do to be the man that he knows he can be for Jesse dispite what he went through when he was sixteen. Jesse is trying so hard to be supportive and be the man that Eric needs to help him through t

Loved this book! So happy when it came out, couldn't wait fast enough after I read first book, haha. So hoping a book 3!? I loved Jesse & Eric, along with their story, heartbreaks & love. I couldn't get it enough.

This was such a good book. I had mixed emotions during it though. At times, I felt so bad for Eric, knowing what he was going through. And times I really wanted to smack Ty. I can understand the hurt or feeling betrayed but I don't think it was quite as big of a deal as Ty was making it. Maybe I'm wrong. But Jesse, he almost had the worst of it to me. Trying to be everything that everyone needs. Being there as people are reliving experiences and the nightmares and having to watch the effects. It ...more

HA! I REALLY liked this one! First book took an unexpected turn in the last pages with (view spoiler) and what was just a age-gap trope turned into something more serious. I gotta say, I liked it. It gave more depth to both characters and a lot of Eric’s personality issues got “explained”.

I liked how the book dealt with Eric’s “problem”, how it didn’t turn into “magic dick” trope and how it’s showed how hard Eric and Jessie have

After just finishing this book I had to think for a while before writing a review...
The book was more complex that I thought as I thought more about all that happened between them all.
Age differences have not fazed me its part of life that will find love no matter..

The therapy aspects were written very well I was so glad that Eric always had Jesse by his side .

Jesse who was always committed ..

As the story grew the understanding between all three men grew it wasn't an easy situation at all but e

The therapy aspects dealing with Eric's past are so well done. Loved the interactions with Ty this go around and felt the emotional aspects between our MCs was amazingly written. Some aspects did not work for me as well and overall this feels incomplete. I am desperately hoping for a 3rd book...we shall see.

Jesse and Eric

Eric and Jesse are working on their happy ever after. They have a lot of Eric issues to work through, plus Jesse needs to fix his relationship with Tyler.

Wow… Devon McCormack did it again! He draws the unsuspecting reader in with a promise of lighthearted fun and hot sexy times (and delivers) but then … bam!! Emotion overload. It’s like his writer superpower.

Before you know it, you’re being reeled into a deeply affecting, gut-wrenching love story that is so heart-rending and beautiful, at times it almost physically hurt to continue reading. In the very best way possible, of course. Wild horses couldn’t have kept me from finishing this book!

Oh my god, I have been so, so excited for the continuation of Jesse and Eric’s story! To find out at the end of book one that there would be indeed more of these two – as much as I was frustrated to be left with a cliffhanger I didn’t anticipate, I was elated and relieved just the same that they were granted more pages to solve everything that still stood in their way on the bumpy road to happiness.

And this bumpy journey was everything. As controversial and taboo-ish as their love story might se

This book is stunning. I loved BFF, but this book is even better.
An emotional roller coaster that had me crying and laughing at the same time. It gave me the shivers, and it broke my heart. Intense, raw, and gritty, beautiful, heartwarming, and full of hope.
Devon McCormack gives us a view inside the minds of these men. What they think, how they feel, how they love. A view of all aspects and from all angles. It struck a chord deep inside me.
Oh my goodness, how I love these two men. It is not lon

This was another good read in this series. Honestly I feel like there could be another book if not a short story to tie everything up in a nice neat little package but if not then it was still a good book.

This book picks up where book one ended with Jesse and Eric working through their unconventional relationship. Jesse and Eric both are still trying to work things out with Ty to hopefully have him understand that that as Eric’s dad and Jesse’s best friend that they did not intentionally try to

This is the highly anticipated continuation to the first book, which dealt with pretty emotional topics. Despite the issues I have with the specific writing style of these books, I feel the emotions are very appealing and the whole book takes the reader through a roller coaster of emotions that is very powerful.
Eric and Jesse had to deal with Eric's son, TY, reacting to the relationship they have kept hidden from him for a while and at the end of book 1 they are both left emotionally broken. Jes

The story is really deepening! I appreciated how much the book goes into the psychological and emotional, even covering therapy, yoga, body work…Wow, there was no superficial treatment of these serious issues, which was pleasing to me. In addition, I greatly enjoyed watching Jesse and Eric rebuild their relationship with Ty. My opinion of Ty as a person has risen quite a bit too. Ty is much more mature and impressive than I had thought. I used to think he was a spoiled and immature kid.

Definitely so worth the wait!

I had the privilege of receiving the ARC of this book and I thought that I'd steam through it in one sitting as I was so desperate to find out how Eric and Jesse's lives played out but it ended up taking me days! I sooo did not want this book to end!

The story starts right where book 1 finishes and does not disappoint one bit. You are thrown back into all the feelings and emotions about Ty finding out about their relationship, the past childhood abuse, which was so

After reading book one I was already in love with Eric and Jesse. I didn’t think I could love them more, and then I read book two! The connection this couple shares is special, and they complement each other in the best way. It’s an emotional read but so worth it!

Many older/younger relationship books I have read, have the older of the two showing more dominance. That was not the case with this story. They are both strong characters and balance each other out perfectly. Jesse has a maturity and s
This book is a shit show. It's full of people that aren't fucked given what they been thru but constantly talk about how fucked up they are and how fucked up it is trying to work thru being fucked up to become less fucked up and feeling so fucked up that it's sometimes impossible to believe they won't always be fucked up. Jesus!

This book is really negative. I tried to give Eric leeway because of what he's been thru, but he was so negative about himself, negative about his treatment, and sometime

And once again, Devon McCormack does it again. BFF: Best Friend's Father Claimed (part 2 of the 3 part series) is an in depth reveal into the two characters Jesse and Eric and the challenges they face as their relationship continues to grow. Eric's comes to terms with facing his past and Jesse finds the strenth that is found in love to be a supportive partner. Both characters face more transparancy with their relationship and different views, especially given the age difference, but both charact ...more

Read the first book immediately before you read this one!

So I’ll start by saying that it was rougher getting through book two. This book starts like it it simply the next chapter from book one. No review of what happened before, no catch’s like starting in the middle. Quite annoying since I read the first one a while ago and didn’t remember all the details.

I really liked the characters in book one, not so much here. Eric is whiny as all get out. I know it’s supposed to be angst but it ju

So I’ve been waiting patiently for this book and now that I’ve read it (and I really did enjoy it) I’m left wondering...will we be seeing more of this hot couple???

To be honest I thought Ty would of been more involved with this story and really wanted to see his POV for being hurt by his father and best friend.

This story revolves around Jesse going to any lengths at helping Eric overcome the problems he has been struggling with since he was 16.

I liked this but its not as good as the first book. A continuing story for Jessie and Eric.  Through reading this one I've felt Jesse's the mature person and looking after Eric.  There's definitely roll reversal going on between them. Ty, I didn't know what to think for him, i think he's jealous of Jesse's relationships first with Whitney and now with Eric. He needs to find love for himself. Hot sexy scenes for Eric and Jesse are hot but other scenes I skinned just a little boring what was happe ...more

Wow!!! I couldn’t wait for this book as the first book in this duo was left on a cliff hanger and I have got to say I was not disappointed. There was so much emotion throughout this story and I have cried buckets reading this.
We pick up at the aftermath of when Eric and Jesse told Ty about their relationship, Eric and Jesse are in absolute pieces with how Ty reacted and on top of that Eric is trying to deal with the trauma from his childhood that he just confessed to Jesse. I know it sounds lik

Still more than just a pretty face! I do so love the cover of this book, as I did with the first one! Eric and Jesse are dealing with the fall out after telling Ty about their relationship. There is a whole lot more going on with in this story than just that. We find out a lot more about why Eric is so closed off with his feelings like he is. We get to know more about Jesse too. Happy for now

I've enjoyed both books and I can't wait for the next one...there better be a next one. The characters are intriguing and compelling. This book didn't seem to move as fast, even though a lot of time did pass. They spend a lot of time going over what Eric needs to do to move on from his past. I get it, this is a huge thing, but it was the same stuff repeated multiple times. I wish there were some different variations, or something to still present such an important event, but not hav

While I loved the first book I fell even harder for BFF: Best Friend's Father Claimed. This book was so worth the wait!

This book takes you on an emotional journey. Devon takes a very painful event and writes with such compassion, clarity and empathy. The road to healing isn't easy or quick. Eric and Jesse are in this for the long haul and have committed to doing the hard work that comes with healing. Seeing the growth each man undertakes and how it strengthens their love and committment to each
