This book holds up very well after 30 years. The Coyote Gospel issue is worth the price of purchase alone. My only quibble would be the “Invasion” event crossover with the Hawk People... The “gene bomb” is referenced many times but it was not very clear what actually occurred in the event. I guess that was not a problem 30 years ago for the typical reader who would have read the main Invasion comics. I look forward to the release of volume two.

Scottish comic book author Grant Morrison is known for culture-jamming and the constant reinvention of his work. He is known for his nonlinear narratives and countercultural leanings in his runs on titles including DC Comics' Animal Man, Batman, JLA, The Invisibles, Action Comics, All-Star Superman, and Doom Patrol, and Marvel Comics' New X-Men and Fantastic Four. Many of these are controversial, ...more
