What's a poor bear to do when all he wants is some sweet, bunny pie?

Bears and bunnies aren't supposed to mix, or that's what Chase keeps telling himself when his bouncy new neighbor won't stay out of his business--and his mind. However, the more he gets to know his overly perky neighbor, the more he craves her, a desire worse than his addiction to honey and pie.

Miranda's o

3 Ridiculous Stars

First of all, this is one of the most ridiculous books I've read in a long time but it did give me the giggles. This review is basically going to be an excuse to post an insane amount of gifs and pics.

My reaction throughout this book:

Well, a book titled "Bunny and the Bear" doesn't sound ridiculous at all.

The book is basically about a bear shape-shifter (duh!)named Chase and his new shape-shifter neighbor Miranda who shifts into, you guessed it, a bunny. Now, I spent most o

EDIT: Since I forgot to mention, Geri, my other darling friend, who was the one to recommend we do a buddy read of this book for our friend Alisa's birthday, I hope you enjoy the review. :P

I picked this one, because A) its a shifter story, and B) so many loved it here at GR. Unfortunately it was too uncomfortably close to Laurenston’s Beast Behaving Badly- one of my favorite stories. Not in plot- that was a bit too much like Lora Leigh’s Breeds- (government using baddie’s personal motives to kidnap shifters for experimentation so they can build a super army).

No, the heroine’s shifting ability was waaay to familiar- I might not have thought much of it except for it’s bizarreness.

4 ~ Silly, Sexy and Sweet ~ Stars!!!

*** Re-read on 9/11/2019 - Still really really liked it!

Finally got around to reading this one and am so glad I did!

This was a fluff paranormal read. I loved it! I loved bouncy flamboyant Miranda and the big gruff and growly Chase. The cover depicted these two perfectly. The mystery/suspense plot was okay but I really was only in it for the yummy bits between these two shifters. And this author totally delivers.

It was short, sweet, sexy and funny. Miranda

★★★✩✩ This is, like, the best three star book I've read in awhile. I'm so tempted to give it more stars, it is that fun. Totally silly, but I'm pretty sure I'll go on with the series. LOL! ...more

But it's just a little rabbit. But it has fangs! "RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY! This is what goes through my mind when I read this book. The Monty Python movie made me giggle so hard. This book did the same. I snickered through this entire book. It was light, funny and with a "fluffy" little bunny and an irritable bear. I have to read another book in this series, if there is a series. I didn't realize this author was quite so funny. I highly recommend this book for those who want to read the ridiculously ...more

this was not as bad as I feared...
It was totally CRAPTASTIC !
the plot- yes there was one! - was naturally totally predictable. But actually not quite as bad as I thought it would be. I wasn't even expecting one..I mean other than the smut.
And there was plenty of boink and even more talking about it!
The character building? uhm, what character building. If you mean by that, that this would have totally cliche characters with totally corny and cliche lines. Well this was full
Bear shifter Chase likes his life the way it is, he eats, sleeps, occasionally has sex with another bear when needed, his life is organized and quiet. That is until he meets new neighbor bunny shifter Miranda, who is bubbly, hotter than heck, and off limits as long as Chase is concerned, he doesn't mix with other breeds. Chase is a rational man, so why is he thinking non stop about his sexy neighbor, stealing a kiss or two, and finding a reason to seek her out?

Miranda likes to think of Chase as

The Good
Bunny and the Bear is lighthearted and funny with some grit and sass thrown in. And sexy, of course. Miranda is a bouncy, hyper, happy bunny shifter who works for FUC, the Furry United Coalition. It's Miranda's job to watch over the grumpy bear shifter, Chase. Shifters are being kidnapped, experimented on, and killed and Chase has become the next potential target. Chase is all glower and brooding while Miranda is all light and joy. As you can ima

Haha, this was book was a blast to read. It was so hilarious. Okay, so the smut scenes were a tad bit awkward and there were some cheesy dialogues, but really, it was so hilarious that overall, I enjoyed reading it.

My poor friend Navs didn't get a taste of bestiality in the book though :P I KNOW she was looking forward to it. Probably had a notebook out to take notes and everything. She really went to town reviewing this book. Seemed like she was preparing to analyze the book for an English clas
This is one HOT book, no doubt about that. It had some very amusing moments! I liked the characters well enough, but I couldn't quite grasp the bunny shape shifter concept, especially one that had such aggressive tendencies. Now the bear on the other hand, well I had no problem with that one. So while I had a little bit of a problem with character images, it wasn't a bad read and the passion was over the top! ...more

Cute, quick PNR between a bunny shifter who is an undercover agent protecting a grizzly bear. It was funny, wish it was longer.

Oh and it’s smutty.

Good if you’re in the mood for a quick read.

Bear shifter Chase likes his life just the way it is. Calm and boring. That is until the day he gets an energetic and very hot new neighbor. As tempting as she is, Chase has no interest in getting involved with a female from another species but Miranda has no intentions of letting him keep her out. Miranda is an agent for the Furry United Coalition and has been sent to protect Chase from being abducted. She knows she should keep her relationship with Chase professional but she just love

Bunny and the Bear is very funny and sexy. I did like the story plot and I am looking forward to more stories to come. Most of the time I find I don’t like very perky heroines but in this story the bear’s grouchiness off sets it and of course makes it funny and interesting to read because you never know what’s going to happen next between them. Then there’s the fun sexual tension that’s added in this story. I just have to spoil one sorry because I am not stopping. One scene Miranda is

"An unknown amount of opposition, a labyrinth of passages, and a trigger-happy reptile. What fun."

I'm gonna start off with a small rant, okay? There are so many reviewers who rated this book low because it's not a "realistic" depiction of characters or romance.

This is the tagline:: "What's a poor bear to do when all he wants is some sweet, bunny pie?
This immediately tells me two things: 1. This is a fantasy world in which people can turn into bears and bunnies. 2. There will be a lot of sex.

So cute and funny!

This is a very young in cheek funny book by Eve Langlais. Her books are always funny and also come with snarky and sarcastic wit. I love the super cheerfulness of our bunny, Miranda, and the staid, uptight, stick-to-his-own-species, honey-loving bear, Chase. And since both of these MCs are total opposites you know they will be attracted to each other.

The story was too cute and I can't wait to read Mason's story next. Unfortunately I'll have to save up since the books in this se
I listened to it in audio, and thumbs up for the narrator Abby Craden, who did a perfect job setting the right tone to the story. I grinned during the whole thing. It was ridiculous and perfect.

So freaking ridiculous.

A platinum blonde rabbit shapeshifter. She's the overly bubbly, daisy-dukes wearing, new neighbour.

And a grumpy, ornery, hardworking (against his will) bear shape-shifter

Rest is a hilarious journey of how these two fight evil mastermind's plans.

And one more thing, the cute bunny isn't as cute. She's a saber tooth rabbit. Whatever the heck that is. So hilarious.

Miranda moves next door to grumpy bear shifter Chase. She works for a shifter FBI'ish department and is sent to keep an eye on Chase. For some reason, she loves his grumpiness and he's finding it hard to stay away from her bouncing cheerfulness, although he's determined to only be with bear shifters to keep his line pure. That's what he thinks!

Very cute story. I could just imagine some of the scenes with Chase in his screaming bear shift breaking down doors. She's a bunny shifter with a little

My review and an extended sample of the audiobook are posted at

This book has been on my radar for a long time. It is no secret that I’m a huge fan of Eve Langlais. I’m also a huge fan of hilarious paranormal romance with shifters of exotic shifters. What I mean by exotic shifters, is the non-standard. The wolf and cat shifters are a dime a dozen these days. Bears are growing a lot too. But I love authors who choose different animals for their shifters and then use those animal tr

OMG Bunny Shifters exist! I'm looking at you Shelly Laurenston. I am looking at you! Because omg Bunny. Shifters. And she's freaking darlin in a perky, bouncy want to tie her down so she'll stop moving around way. I'm reading this series out of order and already loved it but even more after Bunny and the Bear. It's just a make you smile read that's a bit silly, a bit giggleworthy and has one sexy beast of a bear shifting hero. Oh and a dash of mystery and danger thrown in to boot.

I really enjoyed Bunny and the Bear. This is a light hearted book with an overly bouncy, extremely peppy bunny shifter and an ornery, grumpy bear who is obsessed with pie. There are no hidden sexual innuendos in this book. The sexual innuendos are in your face blatant and highly entertaining!

Miranda is a happy, bubbly, chirpy, and constantly in motion bunny shifter. This is an extreme contrast to Chase the grumbly bear who is her current assignment. Miranda is an agent for FUC, Furry United Coa

I love bear shifters and the fact that the guy is a bear is a main reason I’ve had Bunny and the Bear on my TBR. Then when I saw it was being released on audio and that Abby Craden was the narrator I knew I had to try it out on audio. Bunny and the Bear is the first story I’ve read about a bunny shifter but Miranda is no ordinary bunny! LOL

Miranda and Chase’s romance was hilarious. Come on, a big and grumpy grizzly bear lusting after a cute li

This was a fun shortie. I read it in a morning and it made my day brighter for having read it. I will tell you, I have a soft spot for shifter stories involving bears. Those prehensile lips...yeah...bears have a special place in my heart.

Anyways, this book was the story of a bouncy, perky, hot bunny shifter chick. (You'd think by that description you'd hate her) Miranda is a secret agent bunny shifter. She is getting close to her stuffy stubborn bear-shifter mark, Chase. To protect him.
