As the art of film photography enjoys a recent surge in popularity, resources on the steps of the process beyond the capturing of an image are scarce. Most of the knowledge and the techniques on darkroom printing haven't made it to the "internet age". Books like this are the little islands of knowledge one can visit to learn and develop the skills required in the magical art of darkroom printing. A very thorough book with plenty of practical information on every part of the process, from the shooting and developing of the film, to printing images on paper, covering subjects from building a darkroom and the tools that are valuable in it, to chemicals, enlargers and their each tips and tricks. Very thorough book, I'll definitely be coming back to it often as I develop my skills on the process.

This is a fantastic book for fine tuning or trying new printing techniques in the darkroom! More geared towards experienced darkroom printers rather than complete beginners. I'm sure I'll refer back to this book over and over again in the future.
